this hotel is past its sellby date

The hotel was great and one of the only ones on one of only a very few beaches on this island. The hotel was very comfortable and close to a little fun town (6 euros by cab). The only problem is that it is a 90Euro taxi ride from the airport. The much cheaper bus takes 3 hours and not worth the savings. Consider renting a car as the island is very easy […] to navigate with minimal traffic - if I can do it, you can too. Beware of police who are eager to hand out speeding tickets! Take a camel ride for 10 Euros at the zoo and check out "Cool Runnings" which are trikes and you will tour the island. 더 보기

I came here in July, and the hotel was fantastic. The staff were very polite, and organised plenty of activities for people of all ages. The maid always did something creative with our room each day, for example, one day it was chocolates and swan-shaped towels. The hotel is located practically on the beach, which is great if you want to balance sea […] and pool time (which was very clean). The breakfast was incredible- we had been expecting a continental breakfast, but there were about 10 tables of choice, including hot food, with 2 egg chefs present to cook your eggs as you wanted, with another making pancakes. Handy to have a car though, for heading to the local town of Jandia. Although it is only a 15 minute walk, the intense summer heat can be a bit much in the afternoon. €4 taxi home at night was grand. The resort itself is a bit quiet with only a few restaurants and bars, but there was still a lot going on in the hotel. The area itself is also beautiful, especially compared to the North of the island. However, the hotel do organise a lot of excursions if you wish to visit the rest of Feurteventura. This was my second time and it was just as good. The location is very good if you like peace and quiet and long sandy beeches and clean water to swim in. The food was very good and varied however my only concern was that it was often warm rather than hot and the plates cold which resulted in a cold meal. Que frio pase.. Cuando fui a bucar mantas en el armario, no habia, y la habitacion quedaba muy lejos de la recepcion, por lo demas, muy buena estancia.

Ons verblijf in Iberostar Palace Fuenteventura was van 29 mei - 3 juni 2011. Het hotelpersoneel is uitermate vriendelijk, de service is werkelijk fantastisch. Het eten (wij hebben alleen van ontbijt gebruik gemaakt) is zeer uitgebreid en smaakvol. Veel vers fruit en uitgebreid assortiment heerlijke echt verse fruitdrankjes. Goede koffie.De kaart van […] het zwembadrestaurant is wat beperkt, maar wel goed. Badlakens hoeven niet mee; het hotel heeft handdoekservice. Het animatieteam is vriendelijk, wel enthousiast maar niet opdringerig. De ligging is goed. In de buurt van het oude centrum van Morre Jable (niet loopafstand overigens) dat op zich heel klein is maar wel heel mooi. We hadden een huurauto en vonden dat dit het mooiste dorpje van de zuidkant van het eiland was. Het is een hotel waar eigenlijk alleen maar Duitsers verblijven. Zelfs het personeel spreekt je aan in het Duits. Hoewel wij dit niet super vinden, zijn de hotelgasten wel heel geduldig en keurig bij het buffet in het restaurant (niet voordringen en normale porties op de bordjes) dat is ook wat waard. De kamer die wij via de website hadden geboekt bleek een "economy" kamer te zijn en die hebben allemaal uitzicht op de provinciale weg (schuin wel zicht naar het strand) met geluidsoverlast van verkeer dus. Maar wat het meeste tegenviel was de status van onderhoud het hotel. In onze badkamer bijvoorbeeld ontbraken stukken van het plavond en de schuifdeuren van de kledingkast viel er diverse keren uit. Airco werkte wel goed. Aan de buitenzijde van het hotel zijn veel kale plekken op de muren; ziet er armoedig uit. Het ergste was nog dat men het hotel (ook erg nodig!) heel druk aan het renoveren is. De kamers worden onder handen genomen, maar ook de terrassen buiten. Dit geeft vreselijke geluidsoverlast bij het zwembad (bouwgeluiden) en op het terras buiten tijdens het ontbijt. Echt vreselijk. Over hoe lang de renovatie gaat duren krijg je geen concreet antwoord, dus wij zouden iedereen willen aanraden er in 더 보기
