i even got extra from this location, and i loved it

It was my first time to stay in this hotel. I enjoyed the room, spacious, built all in. I will recommend this hotel to my friends

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Great location for restaurants and shopping. TV reception very bad. Most rooms on every floor is next to the elevator which is good but, all throughout the day and NIGHT, the elevators 'DING', which is very unpleasant and loud. If you plan to stay in this hotel, request for the room furthest away from the elevator. […] Also, we requested to be transferred out of the 9th floor due to having to smell burnt cooking throughout the day. Management wouldn't accommodate our request until we called Hotels.com to file a complaint. Don't know if the smell was coming from their kitchen or the units on the same floor. 더 보기

Great location, close to restaurants and shopping areas. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. A great hotel for this price. Will definitely come back again.

The Malayan Plaza is convenient and comfortable, with a friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and welcoming. Only one complaint. The AC unit was just past the foot of the bed, and blew directly on me all night!

Gave a great rest for an on-the-go nomad like me:-) They can improve on the passage way to their buffet breakfast though:-)

This hotel is well located and in good condition. Most of the staff are very friendly. Reception is a disaster area. 5 hours to check-in. Charged for a clock that fell off the wall. Internet in lounge like dial up, when it works. We had another 3 weeks to stay in Manila, but we decided to stay elsewhere.

spending our 2nd honeymoon, my wife and i chose this hotel because its right infront of the shopping malls. location wise, its good but the guest services are appalling. it was raining outside and we tried to borrow an umbrella to flag a cab but all weve got from this guy from the concierge was "i dont have any." its a shame i didnt get this young […] lads' name. people like him shouldnt work in a hotel. but the security staff (all of them), rainier from concierge, the housekeeping, the bellboys and one lady (wearing braces) from the front desk were all nice to us. and they should be well commended. but to the rest of the staff? appalling. the room? you get what you paid for. the room wouldve been alright if the front desk and that guy from concierge were nice to us but no. they just made it only worst. 더 보기

The staff are rude. Ive been staying in different hotels and I have stayed in Malayan because my sister told me its new. There is no service!!! This is a great hotel for me personally. I enjoy staying there when on vacation in the Philippines. This is my 3rd stay at the hotel and will probably stay there again if I go back. I really enjoy a long hot shower and the water at the hotel stays hot for literally about 1-2 minutes. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The people that worked there acted as if they were better than you. I was unimpressed with how the service was my whole stay. This hotel was very close to the business district as well as two large malls (SM Mega Mall included). There were plenty places to dine and all within walking distance. We did have a problem in our first room. The air conditioner malfunctioned and dripped water on the desk below it. However, maintenance attempted to fix it immediately and when it didn't work, the hotel moved us to a different room with our having to request it. We happened to notice that they had more active TV/Cable channels than we'd ever seen in a hotel and although we didn't watch much, it was a nice feature. The only negative (and it's a big one), is that they need to get better water heaters. If you want a hot shower, you better soap up and rinse in less than 2 minutes. Heaven help you if there's more than one person taking a shower in your room. We asked a couple other people if this happened to them and everyone confirmed that the showers got cold very quickly. Which was strange since the sink water stayed VERY hot. The cold showers eclipsed what could have been a great stay at the hotel. (even with the broken air conditioner). Therefore, we can't give a high rating until they fix that. However, if you can take a 1 minute shower you'll stay warm and your stay will be pretty good. We don't want to trash the hotel since it was pretty good overall, but I don't know many people who are into taking cold showers while on vacation. 더 보기

Everything went good but the heat in the hallways is the only complaint I can think of. There is no wifi in the room and you have to pay for internet connection if you want it in your room so I had to go to the lounge which wasn't airconditioned...

We chose this location (known as the 2nd Business District) because of its extremely close proximity (walking distance) to some of the major shopping malls. The Hotel is actually located in Oritigas / Pasiq, so if you catch a cab make sure you tell them Oritigas not Pasiq, as many drivers consider this too far (from Manila!). We were literally across […] the road from SM Megamall, Robinsons Mall, Shangrali Shopping Mall, St Francis Square (best shopping for shoes & bags and great choice for Men!) & The Podium Mall. A shoppers haven and paradise. Not only was the shopping the best I have experienced (we travel 4 times per year) to our splendid surprise we were also surrounding by so many fantastic places to eat. Most restaurants are open at least until 1am with some (Jollibee, the BEST chicken EVER!!) open 24 hours. We didn't have to travel far for food and shopping. We went out late most nights for a coffee and cake and still didn't get to all those on offer (spent 6 nights). The Filipinnos love their food and their desserts and we enjoyed every element that this wonderful city offered. The Hotel (Malayan Plaza) is made up of of number of self contained rooms - ours was the Delux 1 bedroom and next time (yes we have already booked our return trip) we will upgrade. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The sitting area (lounge) could be improved for comfort as it was difficult to 'lounge / slump' while watching TV. The hot water runs out quickly (2 showers) but even then it is a comfortable temperature. The kitchen was well equipped and ideal if you decide to stay in one night. There is a great supermarket and a Seven Eleven that is opened 24 hours. Alcohol was so cheap from here (29 peso for Red Horse & San Miguel..yum yum). We felt so safe travelling around. Staff on duty all day and night. Police every where and so eager to assist. We walked almost every where and getting around was easy. great for value for your money. location was excellent specially if you need to move around the ortigas, greenhills and mandaluyong areas. it was perfect. security, in and out of the hotel, is superb. nothing to sweat about. restaurants and food are all within walking distance - from street food to fine dining. ample parking should you need one. staff […] are very helpful. areas to improve: bathroom facilities, dated and needs improvement, some leaks from the tiles are visible. however plus side is that it is regularly maintained and cleaned by staff. Not bad hotel at all. Just right for the price. Breakfast food can be improved. All staff is polite and excellent. Maybe the extreme summer heat or just typical in the area but some aras of the hotel are a virtual sauna.

The area is quite upmarket and commercial with lots of banks and high end shops. The security in the area was a bit of an eye opener for me - considering the security guard in local coffee shop was carrying and pump action shotgun. Overall you cannot but help feeling secure while in the malls which the hotel advise you to go to. Wondering around off the beaten track is not recommended, for tourists safety. The commercial area's restaurants are quite expensive with prices close to comparable with European ones. You have to take a taxi ride (which are very cheap) to other bar areas before you see cheaper food and drink prices. Everything from the service of the staff, to the quality of the food. Everything was simply great. The staff was super-professional and answered any questions you may have had. I believe this 4 star hotel should be rated as a 100 star with the quality of service. I loved it. I do highly recommend this hotel.

今回で２回目の滞在になります。立地は良い場所なのですが、どうもタクシー運転手は知らないケースが多いです。受付では、前回はチェックイン時にデポジットを要求されませんでしたが、今回は要求されクレジットカードで指定金額を用意（ノーサイン）。しかし、部屋はキレイで清潔感があり、清掃も行き届いており快適に４日間を過ごせました。スタッフも笑顔で挨拶してくれるし、とてもフレンドリーな雰囲気です。３３階にプールがあり、夜１２時まで使用できるので、夕食後の遅い時間に少し泳ぎました。コンドテルなので、ファミリーユースも多く、賑わっています。今回はキッチンを利用しませんでしたが、料理を作ってもらう場合にはまた予約するかもしれませんね。

以前から友人がマニラに滞在するときによく利用していたホテルです。 今回、その友人からの勧めで、価格も他のサイトよりもかなり格安になっていたため、自分としては初めて予約しました。 ＭＲＴのオルティガス駅からも近くて便利ですが、知名度が低く、空港からタクシーで向かうときでもホテル玄関まで周辺をうろうろして時間がかかりました。 しかし、これまで滞在していたマラテ・エルミタ地区とは違い、物乞いやホームレスの人たちは見かけず、ビジネス街の一角にあり安全な場所にあるという印象でした。 さて、部屋はワンベッドルームで客間もあり、かなり広々とした部屋で、キッチン付きで、ベッドはクイーンサイズ。 ＴＶも客間と寝室に２台あり、ちょっとビックリです。 それ程高くない料金でありながら、かなり贅沢な気分を味わえました […] 。 キッチンも知人の女性にシーフード料理を作ってもらうなどして、有効に利用させていただきました。 朝食付きで予約しましたが、ビュッフェ形式で好きな料理を選べて、好きなだけ食べられて大変満足できました。 スタッフにオムレツも別に注文できました。 ３３階にプールもあり、滞在中は全日雨天でしたが、せっかくなので利用してみました。 全体的にかなり満足度の高いコンドテルだと思います。 더 보기

Jeg syntes dog at butikkene i greenbelt området var desidert best. dit tar det ca 30-40min med taxi. taxi er ekstremt billig i filippinene, men trafikken går tregt! så neste gang vil jeg heller velge et hotell her. malayan var et helt greit hotell, men noe slitt. frokosten ble jeg mest […] sannsynlig dårlig i magen av. jeg mistenker kaffe jeg drakk, da mannen min ikke ble syk gog drakk ikke kaffe. men sånn er det på tur i et annet land, så vil anbefale hotellet for det. frokosten var ikke så ille som fryktet. de beste spisestedene finner du i greenbelt området. var også noen bra rett ved hotellet på the podium shoppingsenter. 더 보기

Les chambres sont de petits appartements, avec chambre et salon séparés, ce qui est intéressant quand les climatiseurs sont bruyants (c'est à dire très souvent) : on met en marche celui du salon et on coupe celui de la chambre. Un coin cuisine avec M/O et réfigérateur. Les couloirs et ascenseurs ne sont pas climatisés, pas gênant pour le temps qu'on […] y passe. Le PDJ est dans la moyenne +, tout à fait honnête en qualité et quantité, il est pris à l'extérieur de l'hôtel, dans un petit restaurant attenant. Internet annoncé dans les chambres, coûte en fait 500 pesos/jour (8,5 euros !). Cependant, au 32ème étage, un lounge Wifi est disponible gratuitement. Personnel courtois, et efficace, dans la norme de la région. Le grand intérêt de cet hôtel est sa proximité de tout le nécessaire : restaurants, 7/Eleven, banques, Podium mall en face (excellent point de repère pour les taxis qui ne connaissent pas bien les noms d'hôtel), Megamall quelques mètres plus loin, avec food court et tous les magasins possible.
