Overall our stay was good, but the showers left a lot to be desired

Simply beautiful stone cottage set in acreage grounds with bay views, our only regret was in only staying for one night,would have loved to stay for a week. Akaroa is a very pretty french influence village.

Beautiful place to stay, very comfortable cottages, lots of firewood for the fire, plenty of birds singing in the trees and lovely view down to the Harbour. Only drawback you do need a car as a little to far from town and no walking track into town. Highly recommend.

These cottages have an astonishing view on Akaroa Bay and are very close to the center by car.

This is a fantastic place. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that it is not located close to Christchurch as it would appear from the information about the resort. It is in Akaroa--which is a very pretty town with good restaurants and shops located in a picturesque part of the Banks Peninsula--but about an hour away from Christchurch.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The cottage was adorable with a comfy sofa, soft bed and an indulgent corner spa bath. The view from the front porch was extraordinary...looking down on the bay and the town. I really enjoyed building fires in the woodstove, and Meg and Kyle who run the place were really helpful. As I didn't have a car and it's a hike […] into town on a busy street, they offered to drive and/or pick me up anytime. I actually didn't take them up on the offer, as I enjoy a hike. But some may find the walk along the road frightening and/or the hike back up strenuous. The wireless internet was also not in range, but as I was seeking solitude, I didn't mind this. The birds chirped...I watched the sunset, and I loved every minute of my stay at the cottages and in the town of Akaroa. Highly recommended. 더 보기

Beautifully kept buildings and grounds. Cabin not large but very comfortable and well equipped. Short drive into Akeroa and a lovely view of the harbour. Overall a pick spot ! Don't miss the postal run from Akeroa iSite.

Akaroa Cottages are extremely comfortable in a splendid location on the Banks peninsula which is a not to be missed destination in the vicinity of Christchurch. Highly recommended.

This was a great place. They had a wood in the fireplace for us and after a windy drive from Christchurch it was very relaxing. Ours had great views of the bay. I would definitely go back.

These cottages are fantastic! It was a nice surprise. Private, fully equipped cottages with a porch to relax and enjoy the views! I just wish we stayed longer than one night.

The hotel had privacy, fabulous views & located within minutes (possibly seconds) of Akaroa - we couldn't have asked for more - and reasonably priced

Great location - stunning views of the harbour. Lovely gardens and landscaping. Gorgeous, cosy and comfortable cottages - complete with our own log fire place. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

Wonderful location in New Zealand. Highly recommended destination.

The Akaroa cottages are very private with full housekeeping facilities (2 burner cooktop, microwave oven and bar sized fridge), situated on a hillside overlooking the very picturesque village and harbor. They have large picture windows to take advantage of the view from a cozy lounge with working fireplace. Surrounding native bush is alive with native […] bellbirds, tui and fantail. There are several walks. This is a historic place as it was originally settled by French and German colonists and retains some of the Gallic names in streets and shop/gallery names. Historic buildings abound. Harbor, whalewatch and dolphin tours are nearby. The museum is a must see. We recommend Ma Maison restaurant. 더 보기

Charmants petits bungalows indépendants avec tout le confort, dans un joli cadre de verdure et avec une magnifique vue sur la baie. Totalement dépaysant. A recommander vivement.
