nice stay!! clean room

My husband had just gotten home from Afgamistan and he loved it. Affordable and very good customer service.

The hotel has the basics. The showers are nice. But there is no real continental breakfast. It includes tea, coffee and cheap bag pastry if you could call it a pastry. Also, the parking lot has people double parking and parking behind one another. This can lead to some problems getting in and out.

The hotel staff was really good and co-operative, but they dont provide Internet service in the rooms, which they claim. For my entire stay of 5 nights, I had to go down to their lobby for wifi connection, they didnt bother to get the room internet fixed. The location in proper mexico city its not near the tourist locations like Kukulkan blvd.

The place seems a bit old and not to much parking but right off sunset blvd. The room is big and has an extra couch. no microwave but does have a small fridge. Not bad for the price.

Excellent , I really enjoyed my stay

I picked this place bases on distance from work location. It was cheap and had some good reviews. It is easy to miss the entrance to the parking lot and the outside of the building look shady. The owner was nice and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

Nice location if you do not mind being a little away from downtown. Drugs store located right next door just in case you forget to bring any last minute items. Rooms a a little old, bed, furniture, etc., and was worried that the door was not fully shut as when closed, seemed to be a little space between the frame and the door. Good for the price […] if you are just staying for the night and perhaps just one or two people. Would not recommend for a family though. 더 보기

You get what you pay for and more I would say. The room was clean and actually very large. I was very close to a venue that I was attending and I was able to take a short walk down Sunset to the concert with ease. If ever I am going to the same place, I would definitely recommend this hotel at the great price.

I you want a convenient Hollywood location right on Sunset Blvd and only a mile from Hollywood and Vine, this place is okay. Don't expect to be treated warmly by the staff and don't expect a modern room. Cleaner than you'd expect though.

Only one night stay but foodmax was right across and resturants were abundit.

Location was good. Offered breakfast was just so so, and it contained bread, snacks, and coffee. I think parking spaces aren't enough, so I should have parked my car at unlined space and moved when someone asked to move my car to get his car out,,it was little bit annoying. Staff was really kind, though :)

I feel like this hotel is convenient only if u have to stay for a night or two in LA ONLY if you're planning it cheap! Otherwise... look for better hotels in terms of services, comfort...etc!

When we arrived to the hotel, I was met by a very bad parking set up, the outside looked unwelcoming. It was just all bad for me. Well, to a lovely surprise, the inside was spectacular. The room was very clean. No malodorous smell lingered, the bathroom was clean, and the air conditioning worked beautifully. The building looked bad, but the room was ok and clean. Beds were a little uncomfortable.

Find something else!!!

I was in town just one night for a concert and all I really needed was a clean room that was close to the show. I must admit that I wasn't expecting much for what I paid for, but it ended up being a really nice stay. My room was extremely clean and HUGE!!! My check in and check out were both very fast and the staff was nice but not very talkative. The […] building itself is a bit old, could use a little work, but again, I wasn't expecting the Ritz. I knew the neighborhood wasn't going to be great, it was on Sunset, but there was a Walgreens on the corner and a McDonald's accross the street. I took a cab to and from so the neighborhood really didn't effect me. The only really bad thing was that there was no clock in my room. I've never had that happen before. I didn't realize until I got back around 1:00 am and when I called downstairs for a wake-up call no one answered. Thank God for cell phones! All in all I would stay here again if I needed another cheap but clean nights stay. 더 보기

you get what you pay for? sure it was **/night for a king with microwave, mini fridge, free wifi (i think it was theirs as they never provided any details) and LCD tv with hdmi in from my laptop. so i was happy. bed a little loud with plastic wrap, smelled clean. found last guest lotion under bed. location awesome. NOT beverly hills, more like fairfax […] as the locals explained. the only real complaint, the staff were indifferent. could be cultural as they were a family business from...! free, limited, tight parking was available the entire time for a big ol cadillac. yeah, i'll stay there again, just wont expect to be greeted or charmed. It's really not a place for a family, but if you need a cheap hotel in this area, this is your answer. Parking spaces are extremely limited, and the rooms are pretty old. Otherwise it's just fine- you get what you pay for!

You can hear people in the hallway and the television in the next room.

I booked this hotel as it was the least expensive that was close to my point of business. The previous reviews said their rooms were clean. They were clean. they were also larger than most of the mid scale hotels that are near the airports and much more expensive. In short I was very pleasantly surprised with the room. I was bitten by bed bugs in this Hotel. I will never stay here again.

This is a great place if you just want to get a room for a night and party. I will not recommend this place for someone who is willing to stay more than 2 nights. Just because it is not comfortable at all. The bed is bad, just plain bad and not soft at all. But for one night is cool.

The room and the bath was clean and roomy. There was no remote control for the tv, but we didn't watched anyway. The continental breakfast was neither continental nor breakfast, just a cheap snack. Metro station and laundry is close by. it's a good place to stay, if you don't expect any breakfast. .

The room is spacious and clean. The bathtub is a bit small. The location is good, can walk there from metro for 7 minutes. Overall, I am satisfied.

Only to crash

Skeptical as it sits in a somewhat dumpy part of Hollywood, this is not a cookie cutter motel 6 or holiday inn express but appears to be a converted nursing home with jewish star placards identifing room#s. walked up the worn out stairs to our room which was pleasantly large and I believe clean. The room was dark, the doorlock failed and the sheets on the bed were to small. We didn't feel save an we will certainley not stay again in this hotel

This hotel is a great value--the location is central, the rooms are huge and CLEAN, and there is parking! When I travel, I don't need frills and amenities, I just need a comfortable room that is clean. The staff here is also friendly.

For the price, the free wireless internet worked well. The driveway is 1 lane for both directions - be careful pulling in and out. The room itself is a bit rundown, carpet can use replacing etc. Bud the bed was comfy and it was very quiet for Hollywood. The room as expected was decent size, no frills but we knew that. We just needed to crash after a night of drinking and partying in Hollywood. The parking lot is behind the hotel you have to take a ally like driveway, one car lane so pray no car is coming out while you're pulling in. The hotel is within my expectations based on the rate that I was paying. The room is kind of old but sufficiently clean. A plus is the complimentary Wi-Fi which is fast enough. Locationwise, restaurants and other stores are within the surroundings and it is just a drive away from the Hollywood attractions.

I recommend this hotel if youre in LA with friends and wont spend much time in the hotel and looking for a cheap alternative. Its good for sleeping in, but not much more. Dont spend a romantic weekend with your girlfriend here, the rooms are not that good, old and not that high standard. But def enough if you just need a place to stay. The Hollywood Stars Inn on Sunset & Western in Hollywood California is close to must-see sights & in walking distance to all metro transit lines & trains.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hollywood Stars Inn. From the outside it doesn't give a good impression but once you're in the room you realize that it's very comfortable and spacious. Even though i saw a cockroach running away from me in the bathroom, all in all it's not a bad place. Couple of blocks from Hollywood/Sunrise metro station, grocery and mcdonalds are just across the street. Rooms are very nice and big, and rather clean. I recommend that for the money you pay.
