The room was terrific, with a great bed, a large sitting area, magazines and tourist information, a shower and separate easy-to-enter tub, and an outside, personal deck that overlooks the bay. My husband is about to deploy and we wanted a night away from the hustle and bustle of Norfolk, Va. So we traveled to a B and B I had stayed at before and we were not let down. Our room (the lighthouse room) was perfect. We were greeted by the sunlight pouring in the windows that opened onto our personal deck. My husband was a particular fan of the […] large tub (he is 6'5 and was able to comfortably sit and stretch out in it). I was a fan of the walk in closet that had more then enough room!! The breakfast was amazing (just like last time) and if I could get the recipe for the Baywood Muffins that are always served I would because they were delicious - ate part of my husbands because he was full from the great breakfast we received. There are two cats on the grounds and they are super friendly and will leave you alone if you ask them too. If you live near Hampton Roads, Va. and need a chance to escape but don't want to drive far go north, over the Ches. Bay Bridge/Tunnel and you'll arrive in a completely different world. Romantic B&B with excellent owners and location.

Charming!

I booked with this bed and breakfast on a last minute basis and it was amazing! I'm a fan of B & B's, and this definitely is in my top picks! The owner was very nice and we had very pleasant conversations, and their cat was just as friendly (he even gave me an extended tour of the backyard which lead to the beach). The back porch was perfect for reading […] and doing some light computer work. They have free wifi, and amazing rooms! It was priced perfectly for everything I received, and the surrounding towns were perfect for losing myself and relaxing! 더 보기

This is a great place for winding down. The rooms are outstanding, large, floor to ceiling windows,overlooking the water. Owners are super nice. Great full breakfast. All in all a wonderful experience. we plan on returning in nthe Spring for a longer visit.

It was a great place, the atmosphere, the quality of guest, and the friendliness of the innkeepers were so wonderful. It was everything we were looking for, it also had a great location for strolling on the beach.

This small inn fronts the Chesapeake Bay and is surrounded by woods and nature preserve-- a beautiful setting. Boasts a narrow secluded sandy beach. Unlike many B&Bs it was not fussy or overdone. If you like the quiet bed and breakfast style, the location is wonderful. We stayed 2 nights as a stop on the road trip along the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake and we chose well. Not a lot to do as far as shopping and dining (at least not when we were there) but that's not what we were there for! We had dinner at a great bar in town and at a restaurant […] nearby. We found the Baywood Bed and Breakfast pretty close to perfect. The location is very convenient, secluded from noise and traffic. A small private beach is available for long or short walks and the view from the backyard is amazing. The room was lovely and we appreciated the little extras like high thread count sheets and fluffy towels. The grounds were […] well groomed and very attractive. The staff was wonderful. Das Hotel liegt ablegen von der nächsten größeren Stand zurückgesetzt von der großen Straße in einem Waldstück, direkt an der Bay. Der Empfang ist sehr herzlich. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Zimmer sind in einem Top Zustand. Der Blick von den beiden Zimmern mit Seeblick, würde ich unbedingt raten diese zu wählen, ist toll, besonders weil man eine […] Terasse hat.
