We stayed at this hotel during Thanksgiving. * To me, the bedroom and the living room looked smaller than in the pictures. That didnt stop us from enjoying other nice amenities. * We had 2 TV's so that our son can watch his cartoon while we watch the news. * The mini kitchen was a plus. We could make some nice tea, heat up leftovers in the microwave. * […] The comforters were not as soft as in the Holiday Inn hotels. * The website said waffle maker at breakfast, but they only had it out 1 day. I am a vegetarian and they had lots of meat (for meat lovers, its a plus) during Breakfast. But there was cereal etc. I thought most of the breakfast items were frozen items just reheated.... * Staff was friendly. Check in was easy. * The hotel is very close to 1604 loop, so getting to.from Seaworld. Six Flags, Caverns, Riverwalk was about 12-15 miles one way. The only negative I have to say about this hotel is that our sheets did not have elastic so kept coming off mattress! Other than that, the room was spacious and clean, breakfast delicious and staff helpful.

Our family was on vacation and the hotel was awesome. Great staff, great location, easy on and off. The room was clean and the very comfortable.

Great place to visit if you are going to 6 flags. Great facilities - gym,pool & convience center were wonderful.

If you are going to stay here and are a Cornerstone Church (Pastor John Hagee) fan pack a Church outfit! The hotel is right next to the Church! Wish I would have known! Hotel was nice and comfortable. I called ahead to make sure that they serve bacon for breakfast and they told me they did. However, it was not on their menu and refused to cook it. I offered to pay for it and they agreed. However, they wouldn't cook it in their kitchen and insisted that I had to cook it in the kitchen in the room. Very strange. I arrived at the hotel having prepaid for nine rooms through hotels.com, but their computer system only showed 6. The clerk refused calls from hotels.com customer service, and would not make me a priority, even though I had 50 people waiting for rooms. This continued for 3 hours. (by the way, hotels.com customer service was WONDERFUL for all 3 hours). […] I spoke to the hotel manager the next day about the issue, and he apologized for her behavior. Unfortunately, she continued to work, and treat us poorly when we needed help. We had one room that the toilet would not flush, another without hot water, and a third that the tub wouldn't drain. Hotel room was very comfortable, had a small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, small stove, pots/pans, silverware, etc. The breakfast was very good, with eggs/bacon/hot cereal and cold cereal, etc. The only thing that we didn't like much was the shower, with no tub or difference on level from bathroom floor, so it took us a while for […] not to have a mess in the bathroom with a lot of water. The hotel was great but the only complaint was that they charged my credit card security deposit before I checked out. It took two days before the money was back into my account.

The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. The suite was big and the bed was nice. Recommend this hotel highly for the money.

This is not my first time and not going to be the last too. Very satisfied with Homewood.

We actually had to stay in a handicap equipped room, which was fine except the shower has completely open and water got everywhere. Other than that though, the hotel was VERY nice for the price. They serve dinner during the week (for free) and the breakfast was great! We were there the week after Spring Break visitors were there. The couch in our room had been cut by previous occupants and the cleaning staff had not made a note about this. I told the front and they were very apologetic about it. I said to the family that we may get a pig in a poke since we had to just pick one off of Hotels.com. It turned out that everyone in our party rally liked the choice.

Room was great, very comfortable. Room keys "demagnatized" twice in 3 days because we apparently kept them too close to our cell phones. This was a pain and I've never had that issue before with other hotel room keys. Also the "breakfast" was not appetizing at all.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and the view was better than I expected. The breakfast was very good and varied. The midweek dinners were also good and saved a lot of time in looking for a restaurant or cooking. Overall, we were very impressed.

We had a pretty good time at this hotel, the staff was friendly and they were even willing to give us milk on a daily basis for my son. I can tell you the pillows are very soft but once your head lays down the support goes to the side which makes it hard to sleep. The rooms are pretty sound proof compared to previous reviews I read. This hotel is right […] in the middle of most attractions like sea world and all the things down town so it doesn't take long to get places. I do have a complaint we stayed there four nights and three days , on two out of the three days we stayed at the hotel we returned back at around 4 and our room was not clean and we did not have clean towels. By the time they got to our room the thee kids we had with us were napping and I had to put the do not disturb sign on the door. excellent hotel, extremely clean at all times, rooms almost soundproof, thoughtfully furnished. i have no complaints and would stay there again if i need that part of town.

We were more strangers than when we arrived. The bathroom sink had not been cleaned " behind the fixture" for awhile. It was white and the actual counter was black.

We had 3 adults and 3 kids which is why we chose this hotel. We were absolutely comfortable. They booked us on the first floor in a handicap accessible room to ensure that we had ample room and we did. The breakfast buffet offered enough variety to satisfy all 6 of us. I would absolutely some here again!

Traveling with a large family is hard to do since most places expect you to take 2 rooms. Homewoods rooms were big enough to hold us all - 2 queen beds, fold out couch, full kitchen. Not to mention 2 flat screens. Saturday morning breakfast wasnt your typical bagels and donuts. Eggs, sausage, bisquits and gravy was just the beginning. El desayuno no me gusto, como que le falta mas fruta, los wafles solo habia el fin de semana, le hacian falta donas.
