The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. I was impressed with the room. I liked the huge couch and sleeper sofa in the seperate living area.

I travel a lot and when possible try to stay at the Hyatt Place brand. Never been disappointed and this hotel is no exception. Spacious room with living area, work station, kitchette type area, and some of the most wonderful bedding. This particular hotel is VERY convenient to shopping and restaurants.

I stayed here after spending time in a very expensive downtown hotel. This new hotel far exceeded my expectations. THe room was huge and the appliances were very up to date. The room was big enough to use as a gathering place before we went out, and access to the internet was superb.

This incredibly efficient and full service hotel has it all. Housekeeping keeps the rooms in brand new condition, the gym is well equipped for a quick workout, and a complimentary continental breakfast is available for a quick bite on your way out. We were staying the night in South Bend on a long car trip. We liked the location a lot because it was convenient to just about anything we needed. The only thing we did not like about the hotel was the florescent lighting in our room - all of the lights in the room had that cold blue look/feel. Well run operation quiet clean and attentive staff...rooms were great and the bed was exceptional! My wife made me look to see what the brand was...close to everything and easy in and out...solid breakfast and good 24 hour food service...liked the lobby bar...will stay here again...strongly recommend....

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Stayed just 1 night, and it was everything I needed.

This is an excellent place to stay in the South Bend area. There is easy access to many sites and attractions. The hotel is in excellent condition and our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The Hyatt advertises that they have a restaurant and lounge but it is really a lobby where you can order from a very limited room service menu. Breakfast wasn't much. Ice machine was broken. No washcloths in the room. I paid for my stay on hotels.com and then the hotel charged by card too. Next time I would definitely choose a Marriott property over […] Hyatt. This was an extremely nice and almost new hotel. The staff was very nice and the service was great. There is a skating rink next door that got a little loud on Saturday night while we were there. This hotel is basically a straight shot away from the ND campus (maybe 3 turns to get around a block) and it's extremely nice. It's very modern and updated and all the amenities are great. The showers are a little weird and modern - open concept so the water seems to go... everywhere. Wonderful value. Very Clean and nice staff. Not so close to ND campus but my navigator took care of those issues. Would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommended! Excellent service, clean rooms, convenient location. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Nice pool at a good temp for the kids. We'll definitely be going back the next time were are in the South Bend area!

The room was wonderful--very spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the pool was disgusting. There were wrappers floating in the water and gritty dirt on the bottom of the pool. Great Staff , Very helpful on Restaurants in the area.....Walking distance to several or to shopping area. Followed up on room right after I checked in .... Offered personal motel tour if wanted.. Sets back off of road so a little harder to find for someone not from or familiar with area ...

This hotel is a very clean modern one nestled in a surprisingly accomodating surrounding area. Staff was quite couteous and friendly. We felt very comfortable and safe in the ample sized room.

This place was extremely clean, close to many shopping and restaurants, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the front desk service was excellent. The only downfall was a continental breakfast with no hot options unless you wanted to pay extra. Other hotels in the area offer a hot continental breakfast included in the price of the room. I think my recent stay at the Hyatt was the best hotel experience I've had. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. I have no complaints at all.

This hotel was newly decorated. Our room was HUGE and very clean! Great experience, great location. We wanted to tour Notre Dame and were there within minutes. I would highly recommend to anyone!

The hotel room was so modern and beautiful! I only wish that the breakfast had been a full breakfast (eggs, etc) and the items there had been better (oatmeal was all gunky). I will definitely return to this hotel though! It was comfortable and pretty!

This is an excellent hotel. We've stayed in several Hyatt Places and they never let us down. This one didn't either. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfy, the pool was warm, the staff was great. The room had a layout we've not seen before. The large flat-screen TV swiveled so that you could view it from the sofa area and also from the bed. It acted as a kind of room divider. We also liked the large step-in shower and having the vanity area separate from the toilet and shower. The hotel is a little hard to see and needs better signage. Most important thing you need to know-the sheets smelled clean!!! Like a fresh out of the washer and dryer smell! The hotel was super clean, modern, and a friendly staff-highly recommend!! Lots of shopping and dining very close by too!

This hotel was a surprise. It is located in an unusual location, tucked back in a parking lot, but it was very quiet. I was immediately impressed by how clean the entire hotel was kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was extremely above average, rather european in flavor. It was larger than I expected.
