Staff were excellent - very helpful and professional. Hotel was very clean and room was very nice - would highly recommend this hotel. A little out of the way from the centre of Florence but once we figured out the bus system (staff was also very helpful with that) it was no problem. Also walking distance to the train station

liked the hotel overall... not as close to the city as it says!

This hotel is really great. It is large, spotless, the rooms are huge by european standards, the breakfast is more than adequate-they even have bacon and eggs- the staff is friendly and helpful. The Nil Hotel is a business hotel and it is located away from the tourist center of Florence. It is in an industrial area with nothing around it. Not unsafe, […] just out of the way. The hotel security is great and they have free parking. A fifteen minute walk will bring you to the bus #23 into the heart of Florence. On the way is a huge supermarket. The rooms have refridgerators, so you can bring back goodies. Once in Florence you can walk to all the sights. Make sure to come back to the neighborhood for a great dinner at one of the local places by the bus stop. It is a working class neighborhood with plenty of excellent choices for Italian home cooking. We were driving and wanted a location outside of center but convenient to central tourist areas. Excellent business style hotel. Free parking and internet. Excellent breakfast. Easy 10 minute trolley ride to center. The only issue we had was our GPS had trouble getting us there, not sure why.

Very nice room. The complete staff from the front desk to the restaurant to the bar were all very helpful and so nice.

Exactly what was needed-gym, big quiet room, great rate, big B'fast free, wifi all over free, parking all over also free, stay, you will like it!!!!

Tudo novo, bom café da manhã, bom atendimento e muito confortável. O único pequeno porém é que para chegar no centro histórico precisa andar 3 quadras até o ponto de ônibus - tem 2 linhas disponíveis

Albergo nuovo e ben arredato. Ideale per chi ha la macchina

Excellent! 10 min with bus from downtown is the only "complain". Taxi 15 €. Fast and good wifi for free in the room.

Mi sono trovato davvero bene al Nil hotel,le camere sono comode e pulite,il personale è cortese e molto disponibile. Nonostante sia distante dal centro 3 km la posizione può ritenersi comoda,a due passi a piedi c'è la fermata del bus che passa ogni mezz'ora e impiega 10 minuti per arrivare alla stazione centrale Santa Maria Novella(pieno centro).Inoltre […] dall'hotel si impiega davvero poco tempo per arrivare in aeroporto.. Litt utenfor sentrum, men verdt alle pengene! Kort vei til flyplassen og kort vei til sentrum med bil. Frokosten kunne vært bedre, ikke mye å velge mellom. Servicen var meget bra, rommene fine og ryddige. Gratis trådløs internett i hele hotellet og gratis parkering! Det ligger et lite kjøpesenter med COOP matbutikk i gåavstand fra hotellet. Fint hotel, der dog ikke er særlig nemt at finde. Gode faciliteter og service. For €1 kan du snuppe bussen direkte til centrum på bare 15 minutter.

hotellet är värkligen värd resan, frukosten var mycket bra, och personalen var proffs, nära till bussar och nära till flygplatsen. jag rekomenderar värkligen hotellet.
