Overall good experience.Only one important thing: the internet (on the PC and de WiFi is TOO SLOW !!!

We stayed in the Van der Valk Hotel Rotterdam-Blijdorp the night before the Rotterdam Marathon. The Hotel is modern, rooms very comfortable and a good size, we had a double room with extra bed for three adults and there was plenty of room. The […] hotel is a little out of town but only tooks us less than 10 minutes to drive to close to start of marathon and find parking, other guests were catch bus from close to hotel to marathon start. the room was great, the beds were especially comfy. the only 2 negatives i had were the loctation of the hotel. it was quite a bit away from the centre, which in itself isnt a problem, however to get to the centre by bus was 3 euros one way which gets dear. also there wasnt a whole lot to do in the surronding areas and i the hotel. the other thing found […] was that there was no atmosphere in general anywhere in the hotel i.e resteraunt/bar. other then that all was good. staff were very polite and helpful. 더 보기

The hotel is somewhat remote from the town of Rotterdam and requires a 15 minute taxi journey to reach it from Central Station. However, the standard of hotel is perfect for a short business stay and the staff are very helpful and friendly. we arrived at the hotel around 10am and they allowed to move in the room around 11:15am. that's nice of them to allow eary check in. the location of the hotel is not too close to city centre and had to prepare 15 minutes for the taxi to arrive at the hotel after you placed the order. overall the staff were nice but with don't bother me kind of attitude […] when you approached the reception desk. one older male staff particularly have bad customer service attitude. He did not explain the problem to the guest and made the guest feel she caused the trouble for asking for help. my medicine on my night table was found after two days under my bed by myself. i first fhought that the cleaning staff of the room by accident threw out my medicine bottle. 더 보기

Booked this hotel for a 3 day weekend. Specific reason for picking this hotel is that it had: -Smoking rooms -Large rooms -Air conditioning -Windows that open -Recently built -Quiet location This hotel may not be for everyone as it is not in the city center. I picked the hotel has I was living in Rotterdam and needed a place to stay before moving […] back to the USA. I also had a bike so it was easy to get to. If you are sans bicycle, expect an expensive taxi fare €14ish or waiting for the bus. The hotel is recently built so it has modern facilities. The room I booked, executive, even had a bidet. First I've seen in NL let alone most of the hotels I've been in Europe. Since the room is outside of the city center it is one of the largest I've stayed in Europe. It has really great views of the park and the city skyline. Rooms are soundproof which is also a huge plus as the hotel was quite busy. 더 보기

A conveniently located Hotel for North Rotterdam with well maintained rooms and a good restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and my only two complaints are that the view from my room was of reception and that breakfast was very expenses at 16 Euros per person.

Hotel was too far from the main town centre the room was very comfortable to sleep in mini bar well stacked price of internet charge could be better, the hotel staff were helpful untill the end of our stay and they told me i had to pay £200 euro for smoking in my room with out giving me a warning and leaving a letter in my room which was written in […] Dutch so i could not read it not impressed 더 보기

Dit zag er allemaal netjes uit, dus heel strak. personeel was aardig. klein puntje over de roomservice;omdat het zo druk was kon deze niet voldaan worden! wel jammer en er werd gelijk een shoarma tent aanbevolen! wie zegt dat de klant daar trek in heeft? ging meer op de manier hoe dit ook aangeduid werd. verder geen klachten! goed uitziende hotel, […] mooie kamers,schoon. kind regards, 더 보기

Hyggelig betjening, fine rom og veldig god frokost. Hotellets pris var rimelig men tillegg alt for dyrt.(internett kablet med kun tilgang på rommet kostet 12,5€ og frokost kostet 16,5€) Jeg likte hotellet svært godt og har ikke noe negativt å utsette.

Goed hotel, alleen miste ik het van der Valk sfeertje. Zoals we dat aantroffen in de Gouden Leeuw in Voorschoten. Hier was alles wat ongezelliger en te "clean".

Vi var veldig fornøyd med vårt opphold ved Van der Valk Hotel Rotterdam-Blijdorp. Hotellet er i god stand og det var et meget komfortabelt opphold. Hotellet ligger tett ved dyreparken og fra frokostsalongen, kunne vi blant annet se isbjørner. Det ligger også tett ved en deilig park. Et par minus får hotellet for prisen på frokost (denne var imidlertid […] veldig god) samt at det er et stykke til sentrum. Det var imidlertid gode bussforbindelser inn til byen. Hotel ziet er goed uit, omgeving vlak bij dierentuin kan handig zijn . Ontbijt was goed alleen maar 1 koffieautomaat waar je dus altijd even moet wachten. Kamers ok behalve de douche, daar komt maar weinig water uit. De receptie heeft dit onderkent en zei dat daar nog aan gewerkt werd. Parkeerplaats rond hotel is niet overvloedig.
