Safe location, easy to find (right off the freeway) and basically decent for the price we paid. We had a smoking room but the smell was still a bit much, particularly when we turned on the shower-it made the whole bathroom stink like wet ashtray. Bring a bottle of febreeze and its not so bad. I recenently stayed at America's best value in scottsburg, In and was leary if it was clean as i had never booked on line . I was amazed at the cleanlyness . The only thing i found wrong was the tv channel 12 had a humming noise in it . THe door opener didn't work easily . Other than that it was very clean .

Even though I only stayed one night, I really enjoyed the stay. The workers were very friendly, the room was very clean, the hotel was close to lots of resteraunts and the bed was great. The bed was really comfortable and I slept great!

The walls had suffered water damage and the ceiling. Why they wouldn't fix is beyond me. The bed had only the disgusting polyester bedspread, no blanket. Room did have a recliner but it was old, stained and gross. Will never stay at one of these again. Disgusting

It was a very good price,great location,and clean.The beds were comfortable and the shower worked.It even had a small microwave and refrigerator in the room.

we would stay here again and again... the people were very friendly, American owned, very clean, just a short drive to many different places we visited during our stay.

Hotel was an excellent choice for our one night stay. Pool and pool area was well maintained, room was clean and nice, beds comfortable, with fridge and micro and shower was hot and strong. Couldn't ask for much more for the price and it was all and more than we expected.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. We just needed a place to stay for a night and then continue our trip. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was heavenly.

Good location - close to freeway and lots of shops and restaurants. Hotel itself is ok quality - room was sufficient but basic.

This was a great stop . Room was nice and clean and quiet. Desk staff was very polite and helpful. Associated restaurant was also appreciated. We just walked over after a long day on the road. We had dinner and breakfast both there. I would recommend this for a nice, easy stop.

A typical dirty hotel room with a bad air in room. Woke up with swollen glands and sore throat. Do not stay here

I have stayed at the Mariann for several years, in the past. I will always stay at the Mariann.I really like it because it is centrally located in Scottsburg.

STAY THERE 4 NIGHT, PEOPLE VERY HELPFUL ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS . QUIET AND PEACEFULL GOOD LOCATION RIGHT OFF I65, I WILL BE BACK.

My husband and I were well pleased with the Mariann. The staff were very hospitable. The only problem we had were "very noisy neighbors who were staying with children." The parents did not try to keep the children quiet. Hotel staff tried to control the problem but could not without the help of the parents. We were given a card for one "free" nights […] stay since we got very little rest/sleep the night we stayed. This was no fault of the hotel staff and it is an isolated problem.
