Stopped on our way to Boston. Next time will spend at least 3 days exploring this interesting area.

Fantastic one-off Vermont country Inn. Outdoor trip guide service on property offering paddling and fishing. Perfect for outdoorsy couples and close to some of the best skiing in the east. Highly recommend!

My husband, teenage daughter, mom and step-father recently stayed here for one night. ( My daughter had an activity in White River Junction a short ride from the Inn.) We stayed just one night--beautiful setting--but noisy and the fire alarm went off with no apparent cause (according to the fireman). The room was clean but the bed was way too soft and our feet were higher than our heads when we slept. The hall light stays lit all night, and you can hear everything from people in other rooms, heating unit, and very […] loud plumbing. The wifi and tv are convenient as was the restaurant. The food was good, but very pricey. If you stay, bring a sound machine to drown out other noises and don't ask for extra sparkling water...you will be told that the tap water is okay to drink. 더 보기

Went to White River Junction for a show at Tupelo Music Hall and decided to stay over in Queechee rather than head back to Concord NH. Had driven by the Inn, but never stayed. Inn needs alot of TLC, too many things let go. Lovely fireplace, nice breakfast, great staff; dead bugs on windowsills, teeny tv, hardest bed ever slept on. This great, very accommodating staff deserves better!

The hotel staff was super. They could not have been more accommodating in both the restaurant and behind the desk. We had a prix fixe dinner that was great. It's an antique inn so that it was not as pristine as a modern one, but we wanted the full feeling of the charm of old Vermont surroundings, and the Inn delivered.

We were there on a Wednesday and were able to take advantage of their price fixed menu for that day only. Dinner was excellent, service very good, ambience excellent, a pleasant evening for sure. Simple but comfortable room, nice breakfast. The setting is very pretty and they are close to some shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't miss the nearby National Historic Site of the Augustus Saint Gaudens home & studio in nearby Cornish, NH!

My boyfriend and I went up for the hot air balloon festival and just adored this B & B. Maybe because it was our first time staying at an independent hotel, but we were delighted with the friendly guest service and the cute, comfy room. The hostess gave us a tour of the hotel before showing us the room, and encouraged us to spend time in the common […] room (with the complimentary delicious cookies!). This was the perfect place to relax after walking around the hot festival all day. The host even cooked us up a late night snack, though we showed up four minutes before the kitchen closed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious as well--very home-cooked, exactly what we needed. The hotel is great for visitors to the balloon festival, or those up for a round of golf or who just want to check out the Vermont scenery--the Quechee gorge is within walking distance and is amazing! The minute we pulled into the Inn driveway we new it was the place for us. The rooms and atmosphere are wonderful, the breakfast was great, the surroundings were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. We toured the other available rooms before we left planning for our next stay. Relaxing and romantic.

Arrived in the evening in dense fog. Turn off was unclear in part because when I called for directions, they didn't verify which direction I was coming from. They were somewhat accommodating about putting food aside for me because the kitchen would be closed when I got there. The ubiquitous lamps (as opposed to overhead lighting) was warming and welcome. Unlike many b&bs the chotchkes & froufrou was either almost under control or amusing. Was there just for an overnight, but a restaurant employee helped me find my room (instructions were left by the innkeeper) and the room itself was comfortable. The bathroom was a little outdated in decor, but good water pressure and bed was comfortable.

Very nice little inn, friendly, professional, and just 12 mins to Dart. Lottsa touristy stuff to do in the area too. Sure beats Courtyard by you know who.

This Inn was country and cozy! Affordable through hotels.com and great location! Walking distance to the Quechee Gorge and my perfect Wedding venue! With 25 guest rooms and an outdoor patio, I only wish I could find it in Mass where most of my family lives!

Nice value, location convenient to both White River Junction and Woodstock, friendly staff. Breakfast was nothing to get overly excited about, but the food was solid and the service was excellent. I'll definitely keep this one at the top of my list for the next time I'm in the area.

Overall very good considering the price. The Food was good and the service also good. The decor of the rooms and bathroom is a little in need of maintenance or update but perfectly acceptable. I was told that this updating is about to begin.

The location of this hotel is just fabulous, and it looks wonderful from the outside. Inside, a little shabby and way too cold! The sitting room was so dark and chill that we could not sit there. Two of our party wanted to relax in the lounge, but it was so uncomfortably cold that they retreated to their room to keep warm. The corridor that our rooms […] were in was completely unheated, and the outside temp was in the low 40's. Although the room was cute and the beds very comfortable, there was only one towel for each guest, the soap dispenser in the shower was broken or empty, the TV remote did not work. Little things maybe, but it's all in the details. Not much fun to get in the shower only to find out that you had to get out of the bathroom to find some soap! A little more attention to these things would make a difference. The breakfast was great, really well done, but again the room was unheated and we were all shivering sitting there. It may be April, but the temp in VT is still in the 30's and 40's, and you just can't coast with unheated areas-guests have to be comfortable! 더 보기

My daughter and I arrived in the rain, tired from a red-eye flight and long drive. When we stepped inside the inn it was warm and cozy and, best of all, dinner was being served in the restaurant. We relaxed instantly and enjoyed a lovely meal with delicious wine. I stayed at the Inn because I had to attend a nearby conference. 30 miles out from the inn, 120 miles from home, my car's regulator failed. Great place to unwind and relax from chaos of daily life.

One of the best B&B's I've ever been to. It's a large historical inn, with magnificent views of the Vermont landscape. I booked the standard room, and upon arrival was given a free upgrade to the Deluxe Queen room. Outstanding! Beautiful place. Staff was so friendly and that made it 100% percent better. Had a great stay.Only complaint was the very tired mattress with horrible support. Long overdue for a new one but we are planning on definitely goin back.
