We made a last minute reservation at this hotel due to our trip getting extended an additional day. We arrived around midnight; all we wanted was to get to our room and go to bed. We were given keys to a room which was about as far from the office as we could be. The keys (electronic key cards) did not work when we got to the room door. I went back […] to the office and asked for new cards and returned to our room door. These did not work either. I called the front desk and they sent someone to help. He determined that the batteries were dead in the lock on the door and so he offered to get new keys to a different room. The second room door lock didnt work either - same problem - dead batteries in the lock. And so we tried a third room and finally got admitted to a room after driving from room 1 to room 2 to room 3 and parking 3 times. The hotel room was hardly worth the effort and our neighbors didnt give me a lot of confidence that the items in the back of my truck would be there in the morning. I reparked the truck closer to our room and hoped for the best. The good news is that everything was in tact when we got up in the am. "Continental Breakfast" was pretty limited. The toaster didnt work; other patrons were complaining that it toasted too much or too little. The menu consisted of 2 choices of dry cereal, some donuts, coffee and juice. I stay in budget motels regularly and most far exceed this one for value. I'll find a different place to stay next time. 더 보기

I must say the first thing that I thought of when I saw this hotel was, "Am I in a movie?" The pictures did not warn me of what I was getting into for the night. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was about 8pm when I arrived and there was no one at the front desk for about 25 minutes. Did we save some serious coin? Yes, we did. Yes, I did. Was it easy to block out the sound of 18-wheelers downshifting on the highway right beside the lodge? No. The Econolodge is behind a car lot in an otherwise kind of desolate area. There is the highway running right behind it, but there are not a lot of people around.The bed was comfortable. The […] decoration was outdated featuring wallpaper that was falling off the walls. The television was an old 27" tube tv with poor picture quality. It was clean enough, but didn't necessarily seem so because the decoration was quite drab. The continental breakfast was not great. Toast and prepackaged donuts. Some cereal, coffee, and juice. My wife wishes I would have spent more money on a more secure location with a more modern presentation. We did sleep very well in the beds and saved a lot of money compared to other options, but I can see why it costs less. 더 보기

It was a great price, all we needed was a quick place to rest and shower and be back on the road in the morning. The hotel wasn't very updated but it was clean, the man at the front desk was very nice and helpful when we checked in at 11 pm. I wish I had caught his name because he deserves some recognition. This is the cheapest motel in Frederick on hotels.com, and it is nothing fancy. But if you need a place to crash and aren't too particular, this does fine. It's location is convenient, but it is not scenic. I only stayed one night, and that was fine, but if I needed more nights, I probably would've paid more to stay elsewhere.

The continental breakfast was a joke but a very nice place to stay and the price was right.

I needed a bed & shower stopover on a trip into Washington, DC., and this fit the bill, for very reasonable rates. There was a clock radio in the room, and heat (it was February), which was nice. Very quiet, located near shops, not far from the interstate.

After a long day of travel I needed an inexpensive place to sleep. This fit the bill. The room wasn't in great shape but it fit the bill and served my purposes. If you are expecting high quality, find another hotel... probably one that isn't the cheapest for miles around. If you just need a place to crash for the night, then it'll do.

Carpet was soaked with water, room smelled, heater did not work, no coffee was made in the morning. Need I say more?

It was ok for one night just to get some sleep. A little difficult to find since it was tucked behind other businesses. Could use some renovations, but that's what I would expect for the price.

This motel was used by mostly working (construction workers,etc.) as was very unsettling for two women traveling alone. We were placed in a unit with all the constructions truck and beer cases outside the rooms. This was disturbing to my 84 year old mother. We had no problems except their early start times (5:00) but it was still disturbing when ther […] was no extra lock on the door. The room was clean but needed repairs. I guess for the price I shouldn't expect much more for that area. I looked at the pictures and the rating which was as good as many in the area. Everything was okay except for the free continental breakfast which could have had a little more variety. It consisted of coffee, orange juice bagels and three kinds of doughnuts.

Furniture and bedding covers were stained / dirty. Bathroom tile grout was black and tub was stained / grubby looking. Light switch on entry did not work. AC and TV did work and sheets appeared clean. Plenty of hot water. I realize that it has the lowest rate that I could find but I won't do it again based on the lack of cleanliness of the room.

Low Price, No Frills. Ok if you just want a bed for the night. Would be nice if there was more than a car lot within walking distance.

This hotel is in need of an overhaul or upgrade. Everything in my room was old, worn and outdated. The carpeting was coming up in places and the bedspreads and linen have seen many many washings. The tiles on the bathroom floor were cracking and peeling underfoot - I kept my shoes on with the old smelly carpet and the flooring in the bath. The motel was old but clean, the staff helpful. For the money paid there are newer motels and better locations
