great room, very clean, bed was fresh and clean, bathroom was very clean, in the middle of the entertainment district thus it was ideal for every club in the area. staff at reception was rude and when the hilton parking lot was full, they didn't offer any help as to where we were to leave our car, we had to pay almost $50 to park it in a nearby parking […] lot. The room and location werw very good. When we got back to our hotel at around 1030 there was a full blown party at the room across from us. Must have been 20 people in there. Very loud music, yelling screaming and swearing. We called front desk and said quiet time is after 11. They must have all left for the bar beside the hotel then later that night […] at around 230 they returned and were banging on my door and continued to party. Also the only parking at the hotel is Valet for 35 dollers. So plan for and extra $35 charge per night at this hotel. 더 보기

Top marks on everything but parking. Valet parking was great but didn't expect to pay so much just to park.

stay at the hilton during our stop over in toronto before returning to malta. The hotel was very close to all restaurants and bars, the rooms are clean and room is very confortable to stay. i never heard a noise as other guests did from other reviews. i would stay there again for sure.

The stay was good. It is next to all the important local spots. A few blocks from the all the night clubs and nice restaurants.

This has its advantages and disadvantages. There are many nightclubs, and lots of kids who stay and party in this hotel. Fortunately hotel staff will keep the partying to the lower floors and let you know when you check in. The hotel is new, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Upper floors are quiet. the breakfast deal was very nice. room rates are high but I guess thats the going rate. front desk was well run. overall, pricey for me but very nice hotel

I was in town for a Convention, the hotel was a lot cheaper than where the convention was, staff was great, it was during St. Patty's day weekend. it's located around 5 + bars. lots of live entertainment in the area. room was very large and spacious, the bed, it's the first time in many years I got a good nights sleep in a hotel bed, it was more than […] I expected. As in most cities, parking is an issue. We did not arrive in time for the valet parking and their lot was full. We parked across the street and had to pay five dollars more for the night! There was no yellow pages phone book - only residential? I didn't even think they had a restaurant in the building - their booklet only talked about room service. […] Very little tourist info in room, although they were quick to answer a direct enquiry. This hotel was close to bars and restaurants. BUT even on the 14th floor the noise from the club, Tryst, beside the hotel could be heard until 3:30am!! No one in our room was able to fall asleep until after the bar finally closed!

I found the service great, and the room quite comfortable. My only concern was the fact that my room was not ready for me when I arrived. Also the parking at the hotel was full so I had to pay more to park elsewhere and lug all my stuff over. Other than that I enjoyed it.

I am very disgusted with the way this hotel handled a situation. There were people smoking in the hallway in front of my sister's room. They were friends of hers whom she did not allow in the room due to the fact they were smoking. She asked them to leave as hotel security came to kick them out. They were not smoking in the room whatsoever and were […] not guests in this room. The hotel security should have reported the smokers but instead the other four guests were reported as well. Police then came to the room and demanded the four girls leave the hotel. Calmly my sister tried to explain that they were not guests of the room and did not smoke inside the room. One of the police officers grabbed a pair of one of the girls shoes and threw them out of the closet rushing them to leave not caring about where these young ladies would end up. The hotel manager who we spoke to the next morning told us that he would check the room for any smoke damage and would not charge us the additional $250 and that they would contact myself to speak about the matter. I did not receive a phone call to speak with a manager, however charges of $350 total Were added. The hotel claims that we were responsible for these individuals who were smoking even though they were not in our room. Therefore can anyone off the street come in and smoke in front of my hotel room and I would get charged due to their actions? I don't think so. These young ladies feel taken advantage of and violated. DO NOT stay here. Their customer service is extremely poor. 더 보기

I would recommend this hotel, convinient location, in the middle of downtown and wlaking distance of all the attractions, clubs, restaurants, the staff is very helpful.

My husband and I booked a night and went to Second City which isn't even a 2 minute walk away. Check in was quick and pleasant. The room was spotless and very comfortable. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area. Very resonable price. Internet in the room :) Would highly recommend this hotel. I will definately be back.

Overall it was a good place to stay. Nothing to really complain about.

The Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Downtown was a great hotel to stay at for New Years Eve. It was conveniently located near bars and restaurants. This hotel is the perfect space for staying in Toronto...the hotel is full of helpful staff, right from the front desk to anyone we came across during our stay... The location is such that it is tucked into a quiet spot between Queen and King Streets, on Peter St....My mom and I were in toronto to attend two glorious concerts at Roy Thompson Hall with […] the T.S.O., The Messiah, and the Canadian Brass Christmas. WE were super close to walking over to King Street Car, which took us right up to Roy Thompson Hall....Who doesn't love taking the Street Car and Toronto Subway when visiting Toronto...We used the Toronto Transit system everywhere we went, including Eaton Centre, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas.... Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn made our trip a success!...We didn't realize how close we were to TTC. The pool and hot tub were super clean....easily accessible, and the temperature of the regular pool was a wonderful warm ..inviting temp. No problems with noise....in fact....we didn't really hear any noise from the street. Convenient location to the clubs and bars. Good customer service.

There is a club nearby, Friday night we could not sleep till 3 AM, the noise was loud even if we were on the 16th floor ! The hotel management must do something about this !

We stayed here on a saturday night, and we could hear the noise from the night-club right below the hotel, although our room was at the 15th floor! Other than that, everything was perfect, especially the delicious and generous buffet breakfast! We loved it!

I have stayed at this hotel several times on a weekday. My last stay was over the weekend to take in the royal winter fair. The room was very good however we overlooked a nightclub and it was very noisy. Spent the first night up for several hours listening to the club despite the fact we were on the 11 th floor. Great hotel, great location, clean. My only complaint was that the little fridge motor was very loud and we had to unplug it.

Very clean room, comfortable, quiet. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The overall environment felt safe and secure. No traffic noise from the street. Courteous staff.

It was great except the noise from the club. Even on the 12th floor the noise on Friday night and to a lesser extent Saturday night was loud. Hard to sleep and better to stay out late.

Great hotel and location. Parking is expensive but to expected. Was great for the kids and treated us great. Will be staying there again when traveling to Toronto. Breakfest was awesome.

too much noise during the evening and night...i would recommend this hotel if the room would be in the back because of the noise.

Room was clean, well furnished. Location was great, was able to walk to pretty much everwhere i wanted to go from the hotel. Enjoyable stay.

If you are planning on staying in downtown Toronto and are looking for a reasonably priced hotel with good ammenities and walkiing distance from major attractions (CN Tower, ACC, Rogers Stadium etc) then I recommend this hotel. We stayed a week and the hotel is modern and clean. We walked practically everywhere from this location in the entertainment […] district. There is also a Shoppers Drug Mart within a minutes walk that made it easy to grab a few essentials. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing to consider is that there are also two night clubs on this street and Friday and Saturday nights it gets a little loud (Clubs:Tryst and Time). Walking distance to the Princess of Wales theater. Close to lots of excellent dining and casual bars. Very clean, all staff were friendly and helpful. The valet went back to my car to get my cell phone and brought it to my room. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Lots of pillows. As a life long resident of Toronto I was amazed at the nightlife surrounding the hotel. The staff and cleanliness were exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Service: Overall service of the hotel was good but not great. I would say it's consistent with a 3-star hotel. Staff was nice but a little slow. They did their job but nothing beyond that. We used the valet service and the guys said he'd be back in 4-5 min. 15 min later we had to ask someone about our car before someone could tell us that there was […] actually a backlog and our car would be here 'soon'. 10 min later, our car arrived. Room: it was clean and nice. be forewarned though that the shower has a clear glass window to the rest of the room with horizontal blinds controlled from the OUTSIDE. know your rommate(s) from staying here. 더 보기

Awesome. Parking is a bit expensive, but overall pretty great. We were there for FanExpo 2011 and they treated us with the utmost respect. Will stay again.

The room was great. Breakfast option was a fabulous idea, was awesome. However, the mini bar was not stocked with anything. The maid never cleaned the ice container or even cleaned the food containers left over. Overall, a good stay, just wished I received some sort of mini bar selection.

Great hotel, and would recommend if you love the night life in toronto! The one thing I loved was the safety of the hotel,we came in late that night and we had to use our key to get it. It felt safe in the way that stangers could not wander in the hotel unless they where staying in the hotel.
