The hotel lobby and restaurant were very nice but when you walked down the hallway there was a bad sewage smell during the day. The room was filthy, with dog hair on the carpet and stained sheets. We complained and the manager himself cleaned our room for us and gave us free drinks in the bar which was impressive. I wouldn't particularly recommend anyone to visit Evreux, but if you must go there, the Kyriad is a decent, clean and friendly budget hotel. Not far from the city centre (by car).

We have been stayed there for 2 nights. Bathroom was not clean enough. I saw few hair in toeilet & in bath. The shower was broken & I asked them to repair but nothing done. There wasnt any fridgeder in room. Number of towels was not enough. Trash can was staying full after cleaning facility. The lady in reception was very helpfull & can able to speak […] very good in English which is not normal for specially this city. Biy i believe she has no power to solve problems. The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin - there's nothing fancy about it, but it's comfortable, with quite large rooms, with good bathrooms, air-con, complementary tea/coffee etc. The breakfast did look very good, but after a fortnight of eating French hotel continental breakfasts, we were a bit sick of them, so we headed to the local supermarket […] (intermarche 1 mile away), which has an excellent patisserie in the foyer & was very cheap. Friendly efficient staff. Room excellent size. Great restaurant. Very clean. hotels.com bookings have worked for us every time.

We chose the hotel for an overnight stop on the way to Spain. About 4-hours drive from Calais it is ideally situated although may be difficult to locate quickly without sat-nav. The reception and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant offered a good choice and the food was good. The room was clean and adequate. The Kyriad Evreux is very conveniently situated for the long drive down through France. The room was clean and comfortable. The addition of tea trays in September was very welcome after a long drive and late arrival. Easy and friendly check in and check out. This is our second stay and we will continue to use this hotel.

The service at Kyriad Evreux La Madeleine was excellent. The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the food was delicious. Check out was a breeze. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Hotel was very convenient as a stopover on our way down south. The room was clean and spacious with 2 twin beds and a large double but the window didn't open properly and as it was a very warm night the room was uncomfortably hot. We couldn't have dinner as the restaurant was closed on a Sunday evening but the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice. […] We chose this hotel because we travelled with a small dog. Très bon accueil, charmantes attentions dans la chambre. Petit bémol, la porte de la salle de bain ne fermait pas et semblait être de récupération ,surprenant dans une chambre aussi agréable. merci pour ce séjour . Cordialement

Ett alldeles utmärkt ställe att bo när man vill se och besöka många platser en liten bit utanför Paris. PRISVÄRT !!

Der Service und das Frühstück waren super. Der Rest ging nicht. Die Zimmer sind spartanisch und billig möbliert. Teilweise fehlten die Nachttischchen. Es stank derart nach irgendeinem künstlichen Vanilleduft, daß wir nachts davon wach geworden sind! Das Bad war nur oberflächlich sauber. Beim Duschen lief das ganze Bad voll Wasser!
