매켄지 게스트하우스 (Mackenzie Guest House) - 에든버러

I enjoyed staying here. Only slight downside is that it is not right in town but it is a walkable distance and there is a bus. I'm usually a bit nervous negotiating public transport in a new country but it was easy. The guest house provided maps and bus timetables etc. They were very happy to give advice and help out however was needed. Nice place!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mackenzie Guest House. The bus stops were right near the front door allowing me to travel in and out of town easily. The location is beautiful, you walk out facing a huge open park and it is a very quiet area. The food was made to order, very tasty, and there was always enough to eat. I only wish they had soy milk for […] cereal, as I'm lactose intolerant. The room was relatively small, which was absolutely fine for me. It may be a bit tight for a couple but I'm sure they have larger rooms. I really liked having a sink and mirror in my room. There was also a nicely mounted flat screen TV but I never used it. I had my own bathroom which was very clean, quaint, and always had nice hot water. I took long hot baths when it got cold; it was wonderfully relaxing. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the Mackenzie Guest House to anyone who wants a nice quiet stay but doesn't want to pay a fortune! Enjoy! 더 보기

Very comfortable and cleen.On direct bus root, number 12 takes you straight into the city,you can hop on and off buses all day for £3.20 Near to the.Britannia.Only in Edinburgh for 2 days but so much to do I will be back and will certainly use the hotel again.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was fantastic, the staff were terrific and the location was perfect. I would come back and stay at the Knight Residence in a blink of an eye. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Edinburgh.

This was an excellent B&B. The proprietors were great and very helpful in explaining where things were and how to get to them. The room and the bathroom were both very clean and up to date. Breakfast could be as large or small as you wanted and was served at the perfect time to get up and get site-seeing. The only problem that I had was that the location […] was quite out of the way of the town center of Edinburgh. There was a bus stop outside, but we ended up getting a taxi into town most days. Other than the location, this was an excellent place to stay and if you don't mind paying the 6 or so pounds for the cab ride I would highly recommend it. 더 보기

Wie kann man einem B&B 4 Sterne vergeben, wenn man sich das Bad mit mehreren Zimmern teilen muß!! Ein Duschtuch stand uns zur Verfügung - mehr nicht. Ein Handtuch für Alle im Gemeinschaftsbad. Die Betten waren kurz vor dem Zusammenbrechen - schief und wackelig. Die Hausleute waren nett und hilfsbereit.

Das Guesthouse Mackenzie ist optimal mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Ruhige Lage und sehr familiär.

Bra B&B! Rent, trevliga ägare, bra frukost, 10 min med buss till stan och mycket prisvärt! Kunde parkera bilen gratis utanför Hotellet på gatan. Kan varmt rekommenderas! /Peter

Hyvä B&B, loistava palvelu, huone oli siisti sekä mukava ja näköala huoneesta puistoon oli hieno. Ainoa miinus oli huoneen viileys, etenkin päiväsaikaan, mutta eihän englannissa olekaan tapana lämmittää huoneita päiväsaikaan. Hotelli sijaitsee n. 3km päässä keskustasta, mutta hotellin edestä menee päiväsaikaan busseja keskustaan 10min välein eli kulkeminen […] keskustaan on kuitenkin kätevää. 더 보기
