As usual, the hotel is spacious, clean, has a great workout facility with HD TV's at each treadmill, has a nice pool, and an attentive bar tender at night. The only 4 I put out there is the neighboor, there is a seedy hotel next door to the Spring-Hill and I'm not talking about the Holiday Inn. The hotel is definitely geared toward business travelers and with that being said one or two nights would be good but three nights or more find a more suitable surrounding. The lobby is an understatement. Very new, clean and fresh looking all over. Architecture and interior is done in good taste without being pompous. Overall good experience. Lack of a restaurant is the only minus.

We returned from our holiday and picked up our car at the rental lot across the street, arrived late in the evening at our hotel, and were pleased to have our registration processed quickly and efficiently by the staff at the desk. We had sent a package to pickup there, and the staff had it ready for us. The room was clean and bright and large. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The contemporty decor is somewhat "cold" but extremely comfortable beds, etc, more than made up for the lack of "coziness." This hotel is best suited for airport travelers. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection, but it is only served until 9:30. The pool was smaller than our room and very cloudy, so my […] kids didn't use it. There was a bar in the lobby, a first for me, right where they serve breakfast in the morning. Another unusual feature was the bathroom setup. There were two rooms, one with a toilet and small sink, the second with a walk-in shower and the main sink. This was nice when someone was showering and someone else needed to use the bathroom. It was a little inconvenient when wanting to shower and having to remember to go to the bathroom before undressing. Oh, and don't open the bathroom (the one with the shower) door to ask for anything you've forgotten. There's a mirror on the closet just outside the bathroom which shows you, no matter how you try to hide behind the door. We learned that the hard way. Oops! Our stay at Springhill Suites was overall very good. We enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. We also enjoyed the conditions of the swimming and whirlpool area. My only concern was that we did not have enough towels in our room to accomodate us. Also I decided to get into the whirlpool @ 9:30 am to discover no towels in the swim area and was told […] that I had to wait until towels were finished washing. Returning to my room drip and wet and going into the lobby and onto the elevator leaving water behind was not what I had in mind. I truly feel that towels should be available for the customers at all times. Also complimentary mouthwash and lotion should be available because it has always been standard procedure in the past. The hotel was just beautiful, gorgeous modern furnishings, well trained and pleasant staff, a very nice surprise for an "airport" hotel whIch should have been noisy and stark. Everything seemed brand new, as though we were the first guests to walk in the door. Breakfast had plenty to offer and fresh as could be. We will come back again!

We've stayed at this Springhill Suites a number of times because of its proximity to the airport. My only point of distress is that they seem to have gone cheap on the towels lately. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel because of it's convenience, cost, and certainly the comfort and cleanliness. The staff is cordial, the rooms are very nice, modern, and clean. The breakfast in the morning is quite nice, the work-out facility is also a plus. I gave it a 4 for cleanliness because there was some red-colored mildew underneath the hinge for the shower door (and the maid probably couldn't see it when the door was opened inward). I was in a room behind the elevator, but I never noticed any elevator noise. This room had a separate toilet room from the shower/sink/vanity/mirror -- unexpected, […] but nice. The internet was extremely slow, so if I'd been there to work, I might have been annoyed. All in all, I was very happy with the place. Updated nicely; modern fixtures. Only problem was hotel shuttle took 40 minutes to get me a midnight; driver not able to understand directions from hotel. Probably isolated issue. Definitely recommend the hotel.

We booked 2 suites for my son's wedding for a few days and had an excellent experience! The service, friendly staff and comfortable rooms helped make planning and putting on a wedding out of town that much less stressfull.

Had stayed at this hotel year and a half ago and was very pleased with everything. Of course that was in October when not as many guests were staying at the hotel. The hotel did a very poor job of planning for the number of guests at the hotel. While the rooms are very nice with flat screens, microwaves, refridgerators, comfortable beds and great heating/cooling […] with real thermostats the facilities, pool, hot tub and breaksfast area are too small to accomodate the number of guests on weekends. Both Saturday and Sunday mornings breakfast was a disaster. Long lines, no place to sit, not keeping food item stocked and waffle line ridiculously long. Again uncaring staff even when the front desk was notified they did nothing to correct the problem. Ran out of milk, oatmeal, eggs and many other items. Eggs stopped being put out at 8:30. People having to wait an hour to get anything. They need to have someone making waffles since most of the problem seemed to be those not knowing how to operate the waffle maker and holding things up for others. More staff on the weekends to cook making eggs, oatmeal. One staff member being asked by a guest is this the norm said "no" it's not...I quickly told the guest yes it was the norm because it had happend the day before...breafast area too small...more tables needed...really no need for the bar area since it is seldom open and very few used it. Tear it out and put a bigger breakfast area in...free suckers for the kids were out when we checked in Friday...they were put away by the staff shortly after we checked in and not put out anymore on the weekend...pool overcrowded due to small size..would have been better not to put one in that small. ..fitness room however is top notch.. As much as we like the rooms and their modern feel we will more than likely try another hotel such as the Hampton or Fairfield Inn next time...they seemed to have a much bigger breakfast area... 더 보기

The hotel was very noisy. There was constant yelling and partying which kept us up all night. The staff was unorganized and was unable to handle things. In addition, when we tried to get into our room, there was someone else already in it. The room itself was nice.

The Hotel room was very good and clean. However the Hotel lobby was too small. Breakfast was OK. Other facilities were good. Overall, hotel is recommended to visitors

Good location with easy access to several highways ib Romulus/Wayne area. Convenient for business trips.

The only issue I had was, shower only no bathtub! But we survived.

This has modern interior with small pool, hot tub and hot breakfast. It is a pleasnat place.

This is cool hotel. We had a good stay there. The only down side is it's right next to an airport, but the planes sound more like a low to medium thunder, so it very tolerable.

We stayed here because we had a very early flight the next morning and didn't want to be far from the airport. Extremely comfortable and only minutes to turn the rental car in and catch our flight. Never heard the plane noise when we were in the room. Very comfortable and would definitely stay again.

The Springhill Suites on Merriman Rd in Mi was outstanding! It felt like we were a hot Boutique Hotel in South Beath Miami (minus the weather outside!) I loved this hotel and cannot wait to stay there again before my next vaction away. The price with 8 days parking included was excellent. Thank you Sandra B

A decent looking hotel but be prepared to deal with a banging in the walls throughout the night and the continental breakfast leaves alot to be desired.

This has got to be best affordable hotel by the airport. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

I got stuck in Detroit, great choice!

We had a really great room; very comfortable. There was a small problem with the thermostat but the staff were very accommodating in dealing with it.

Modern, almost European feel to the room decor....front desk offered two great restaurant choices and we enjoyed both ... very pleasant stay..A+++

great hotel, very pleased. clean, comfort and well laid out. only downside was the postage stamp sized swimming pool, but exercise room was great. would definitely stay there again. close enough to ann arbor to visit UM.

Upon arrival, everything was prepared and check in was fast and easy. The room was immaculate. I refuse to stay at a hotel that is not clean. The decor was very modern. The bed was comfortable with several types of pillows. We had a microwave, desk, fridge and great TV in our room. The hotel was quiet and well maintained. The hot tub was a little small but no one was in the pool area so it was fine for my husband and I. I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future. The hotel is nicely updated, bright and modern aesthetic. Staff was unfriendly, yet very efficient. The Sprinhill Suites Marriott at Detroit's metro airport is perfect for the business traveller. Close to the airport, outstanding services (shuttle, breakfast, internet) and convenient to the major highways. Great employee service!

The rooms were very nice with a modern look and feel. The mattress, bedding, and pillows were very confortable. The TV had multiple stations (not just basic cable). We expected a continental breakfast as advertised on the site from which we booked, but we were pleasantly surprised to find there were hot foods as well, such as waffles, eggs, sausage, […] oatmeal, etc. There was also a sidewalk down the street, which we don't find too often in our home town, so we were able to take a nice walk after breakfast.
