The W Hotel Downtown is hands down the best hotel in downtown Atlanta. From Valet to room service. I was wowed from the moment I walked into the hotel. The W Atlanta Downtown is beautiful! I love the modern look and all the art the hotel has. All the employees were nice and helpful with anything with needed. Be prepared to spend some money on parking because valet service is expensive. We opted to use the valet due to the parking lot that is across the street from the hotel doesn't look the safest. […] Also the room we had was not really kid friendly. The shower to the room does NOT have a door to it and it's made of glass so it is see through. If you do not want anyone seeing you shower I would ask if that is the only type they have or I would not book this hotel if it is. I was a little uneasy knowing my stepdaughter who is 7 was watching tv right next to me while I bathed. Also, the pictures for the hotel are misleading. We booked the room expecting the bathtub that we seen in the pictures and that only comes in the residents suites. This is the case with many of pictures that are shown. 더 보기

This hotel doesn't have parking lot for self parking. They allow only valet parking and parking fee is $30.00 for overnight. It was unexpected cost when I booked. And it's located just next highways so I had to here car & motorcycle noise all night. It was just 1 night for me but not good experience. :(

it was a great weekend with my boy friend. the hotel is so nice. really modern too. i loved the colors and the atmosphere. the location is great if you are planning on going to the aquarium/coke world/ and a Hawk's game... however it really isnt close to other stuff like the malls etc. there are nice restaurants (Sundial, Glady's, Corner bakery, Ray's...) […] in the area and the staff are nice but i think i might stay in midtown or somewhere closer to Buckhead next time! 더 보기

the room was fantastic.

I believe that a hotel should be welcoming since I am choosing to spend my money with them. That being said, the best customer service that I received was in the parking area, because it was evident they were working for tips. The people working the check-in desks were not smiling at all. One was even rude to my spouse when we tried to check in while […] I was getting parking handled. The rooms were very nice, very chic. For the price you would think they would be able to offer some coffee or tea in the rooms. My major complaint was the way the staff was very snooty and unhelpful. 더 보기

Most of the W Hotels can appear to be very trendy but aside from the contemporary decor (great shower I might add) this hotel was totally amazing. Granted I stayed over the Christmas holiday and practically had the entire hotel to myself but the attention to detail, service and especially the management and staff could not have been more accomodating, […] professional, and attentive to my needs. If this one location is an indication as to the quality, service and high bar of their other hotels, the W Hotel chain has certainly earned my business and I can't wait to return to Atlanta for another stay. Staff was excellent. Room was good. Great for a couple. Not sure I would recommend for a family due to the open, glass shower. About 1 mile from Georgia Dome.

We stayed here for a mini staycation. We were able to walk to the aquarium, restaurant row, and the ga dome. We also walked to centennial olympic park, the cnn center, and the world congress center. I really liked that the hotel was in walking distance of all these great attractions but far enough away to not get too much noise. The noise from the road […] was a little annoying since it woke me up in the mornings but not a huge issue. The spa was awesome! We both got the blissage 75 and it was fantastic. The BLT restaurant was really good (only at their breakfast). The biggest downside was the price of valet parking. It was $30/day which was a little steep since there were other lots around but since it was a busy weekend in atlanta, I felt safer with my car in the valet garage instead of in a lot or other parking garage not as close. Next time, I would love to get a better room but it wasn't in the budget this time. Also, the pool had an awesome view but not a lot of seating. 더 보기

Great hotel overall! Just a few comments: Pool area is great but the pool was too cold. Surrounding area is depressing. Parking is expensive $30, you can self park across the street for much cheaper ($8 in secure car park - wouldn't leave car on the street at night though). Nice, clean room and the rooftop pool was snazzy. Really nice workout room on the top floor with floor to ceiling windows providing a good panoramic view of the city. I chose this hotel because I had stayed at the location in San Diego and had received the best service I'd had in a long time. This place was really nice, but the valet service was slow. If I'm going to be paying $30 a day I expect you to greet me and when I'm leaving hop to, not just wait for me to come to you. Plus the front desk told us we could […] only have 3 towels per room when there were four of us in a double bedroom. I found this quite ridiculous... When we checked out I mentioned the slow valet service and we immediately had all three valet's at our beck and call, but I feel I shouldn't have had to complain to get good service... The customer service was great (didn't have a single problem and the hotel itself was marvelous. The Living Room w/ the free wi-fi and free coffee in the morning was so comfy and relaxing. I love the decor, the interesting "fountain" and wide open sunny space. My room was extremely comfortable and I personally love the layout. The shower had a panel […] that was glass so you could see into the bedroom. It helped make the room feel more open. The bed was ridiculously comfortable as was the couch. The snacks they leave out are very tempting. Few things - 1) they have an ATM downstairs (came in handy) 2) their fitness room has new machines, relatively wide variety of options including an area for stretching w/ yoga mats 3) great corner view on the top floor (16th floor) I will definitely come back and recommend for singles/couples/girlfriends. I regret not being able to have a drink at their bar and lounge or getting out to the wet bar pool area. Next time! 더 보기

very close to city /Aquarium/ Coca-Cola museum Very expensive / no extra services like water/tea in room..you have to pay for any extras. BUT : the stuff is very friendly and helpful

The hotel is beautiful; however, the hotel is not very child friendly. It is very contemporary and nice for a couple or for a single person. But for a family with small children, the sink is too high, the tub is too deep and the snack bar is open and in reach of the children.

This W Hotel was great. It is new and in great condition. I also like where it is located in Atlanta - very close to some great restaurants.

The hotel was unsatisfactory from the time I arrived til the time we left. We were charged for 3 rooms, we reserved 2 beds. the hotel offered to get us in a room with 2 beds and never did. We attempted to order room service burgers for the kids at 11am and was told it was not available til 3pm. The overall stay was horrible and I do not recommend to […] anyone. 더 보기

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and this was very important as we were running late for an event. When we got back that night, we were starving and even through room service ended at 1 pm, the great staff in the Living Room bar hooked us up with burgers and fries to soak up the copious amounts of peach […] gimlets we were downing. Room was great - very comfortable with great amenities. The only thing I didn't like was some vibey lighting that I couldn't figure out how to turn off...but then again, I wasn't really trying that hard (i.e. the peach gimlets). Very nice, excellent overall. If you are young and are going to party stay at the W midtown. Much closer to all the bar's and club's. If staying on a saturday night, must go to opera and get upstairs to the VIP.

We had a great time staying in this hotel. It was in a perfect location for everything we were there to do.

The hotel was very nice, great location, good, not excellent service. I would definately stay there again on my next trip to Atlanta. My girlfriend was also very impressed with the hotel.

Easy walk to my convention activities and terrific access to great food/drinks right on the property. Shopping was close to pick up missing items from my suitcase, which was a real plus.

This hotel simply blew me away. We had never stayed at a W hotel before, but we will be sure to look for them from now on. The personnel were hospitable, the room was perfect, and we had no complaints at all!!

The staff was extremely friendly. Only problem I had WET, the pool area, you have to lay on the edges to get some sun. I'm definitely coming back.
