No hot water in the morning. Staff not really interested. No need to say anymore.

+ves - Great surrounding, some of the staff (those attending breakfast crowd in the morning) were very helpful and great hosts. -ves - The main problem was a very jarring machine sound which was intermittently coming from right beside our room all night. We couldn't sleep well at all and our 6 month old infant was extremely disturbed as well. Very […] frustrating when you have one 1 day to stay in a lovely town and can't be fresh enough in the morning to enjoy the day. The receptionist lady in fact told me that it’s a B&B so I shouldn’t have high expectations – if it indeed is then I'm not sure why Hotels.com has listed it as a "Hotel"? We later discovered based on our conversations with other tourists we met that better B&Bs were available around the place at half the price we paid. 더 보기

Hoel was as represented on line. Enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I stayed at the Lonsdale Hotel and it was really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the food was really nice. We didn't have dinner in the hotel as my partner and I wanted to see the sights. We did have breakfast which was lovely. We also took our little dog who was also invited to breakfast too […] by the hotel. We couldn't go in the restraint with her but they did set us up a table in the bar/lounge area for us which was really nice. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are thinking of taking your dog 더 보기

We booked a deluxe room for our first anniversary and was hoping as it was awarded 4 stars that it would be a lovely hotel with nice reception and lounge to relax and have a drink before going out, I also expected a deluxe room to be just that, but I'm afraid it didn't meet with our expectations, Upon arrival there is no pavement outside the hotel […] entrance and the busy main road is there as you walk out of the door, there are two small parking places on the front of the hotel in front of the window but will only take a small car as myine jutted out into the road and would have presented a danger to pedestrians and other road users alike, the main car park behind the hotel was also very tight and once parked it was blocked in by the other customers cars so it was not viable to use the car during our stay, The TV was a caravan style portable 14" tv / video (iv'e thrown better out ) having just 4 channels, there was no bath but a small shower unit and the toilet was faulty and my wife had problems flushing it as it took a knack to get the water flowing.one last thing the email system they have was running about 1 day behind from when sent. Now for the good bits, the breakfast area was nice ( not posh) the food and service was good, the staff were very friendly and nice (one guy had B.O.) but was helpful. 더 보기

Super friendly staff, was very accommodating and curteous. The manager who served breakfast was HOT - and very friendly too (definitely worth going just to see him again!). All jokes aside the hotel was in good condition, lovely poster bed. Only bad thing was my room was right beside the high street which meant it was a little noisy.
