For business in central city... nice and reasonable price

The stay was very good, the hotel staff was excellent and very help full. the hotel was kept very neat and tidy.

Great location in the heart of downtown Nairobi. Showing age, but clean and good service. Free breakfast is not great, but enough to get you going for the day. There is a restaurant across the street from the entrance. It has good local food, but a very loud band at night. An older hotel in a central location. Nightclub noise goes on till 1am or so, but fatigue from 17 hours in the air took care of that! Everyone very friendly. The usual security at the entrance and on every floor. Room was clean. Enough English spoken by employees to get by. After returning a car to Central Car Hire on the ground floor of the hotel we checked in here for an overnight stay. Very practical and centrally situated. Quick and friendly check-in and check-out. Stay ok but a bit expensive

It was very overpriced by Canadian standards. Hotel front desk staff were friendly, but also shy and unhelpful, only answering the questions asked. We felt sorry for the staff who seemed underpaid and overworked (long hours). The worst part was finding windows open on our arrival and we got bitten by LOTS of mosquitoes. I have been staying at this hotel for many years but never again. The hotel reception is the worst I have come across. There's no welcome hello, no can I help you, no smiles, cant even bother to stand up to greet clients The porters and security staff are great. I would NOT recommend this hotel to any one

I found Sixty Eight Hotel over priced for what you got. You had to pay a deposit to get a TV remote, but there was no sign in the room or better still at reception to tell you that. The phone in the room didn't work. However the room was clean and the hotel was very central but I wouldn't stay there again.

low price.. in and out.. cab fare was $20 USD each ewas from the airport.. so if you can find a place closer to the airport for 40 dollars a night more, it is a wash.

Very conviently located and if you kmake sure you get room toward back of hotel facing Kenyatta Ave to escape late night music say roomms *00 - *10. Casino will exchange of $, £, € cash for shillings at competative rate at all times of the day. Stayed one night in August 2011. Very basic hotel room which is located in the heart of city. However very over priced as we paid 80 Euro per night. they do not even give you a remote control for the tv and ask for deposit which was annoying. there's a casino in lower levels and therefore always crowded.

It's like being in a prison, where they let you leave your cell to go on work release during the day, but everytime you step foot on the property you being policed from front door to your room with police questioning you and your company, photocopying you and your companies documents, having to check-in and out, submit your door key everytime you leave […] there is a search, again it's like being on work release and living in a prison! I am not satisfied with this Hotel even if it is in a great location. No AIR-CONDITION in rooms! Friday we didn't have electricity for 2-3 hours. Saturday the same! You have to buy you internet access, and it is expire in 24 hours even if you didn't use the time you buy!! They even have 24hours access to buy! that means you need to be connected ALL […] the 24 hours! Breakfast buffet - poor. Service - poor! I was waiting for 15 minutes for the elevator to come! This hotel is worthwhile only if looking to save money while staying in a central location. It is a an unfriendly place with unsmiling reception staff and a slightly threatening air with the ground floor casino and rough downtown neighbourhood. Very basic hotel, entry seemed a bit dodgy with a casino downstairs. But very conveniently located in the centre of Nairobi, and has a safe in the room. Ok for 1 or 2 nights.

situé en centre ville, c'est idéal. Par contre passer deux nuits pourtant au 4ème étage avec casino, discothèque, les alarmes des voitures et les prostituées qui crient toute la nuit..., passer votre chemin si vous êtes insomniaque! Par contre, préférer le SAROVA STANLEY, top niveau à 500 Mètres de là . C'est sûr, c'est pas le même prix, mais...

ca 1/2 delen af personalet frisk venlig og ernærgisk, den anden 1/2 del sover. Der er ekstra betaling for alt, og jeg mener alt. fjernbetjening, internet, besøg på værelset. Med mindre du skal være i centrum, så vælg et hotel i Westlands hvor standarden og nabolaget er væsentlig mere trygt.

Bodde der i slutten av desember 2011 og har bodd der flere ganger tidligere. Kan virke litt forvirrende og uorganisert i begynnelsen, men bare en tar det litt avslappet så får man den servicen en trenger. Mye liv på hotellet fasiliteter, begrenset anall europeiske gjester, mange afrikanske forretningsfolk. Dersom man ønsker å bo "beskyttet" sammen med […] vestlige gjester eller i et forutsigbart A-4-aktig hotell, bør en gjerne velge et annet. Med så mange forskjellige gjester er det positivt at det er vakter i hver etasje, selv om det kan oppleves som noe underlig i første omgang. Velg rom som ikke vender ut mot utestedet vis-a-vis inngangen pga. av høy musikk sent på kvelden og velg helst rom i noen av de høyere etasjene, og helst ikke i etasjen over fitness-senteret hvor der kan være trening med musikk tidlig om morgenen. Der ohrenbetäubende Krach des Biergartens über die Strasse bis in die Morgenstunden ist nur für Nachtschwärmer-Gäste, welche sich nicht vor 02 Uhr zu Bettruhe begeben und in der Sonnabendnacht Freinacht feiern (Krach bis 06 in der Früh) wollen.

De hotelkamer was geen cent voor de knip waard. Niet meer dan een eenvoudig bed, een niet werkende koelkast. Uitzicht op een betonnen muur. Er zijn vele betere hotels te vinden in Nairobi voor een lagere prijs.

Reasonably prized hotel, but with obvious weaknesses in staff service (see comment on check-in).
