The hotel is nice. Breakfast is good, but rooms are old and small. Service is good, did not have any problems. Wireless internet signal weak on top floor, but ok for laptops with good antenna. My mobile phone did not pick up signal. Stairs are STEEP, however if you are young and fit there is no problem. Neighborhood is quiet although one pancake restaurant […] nearby. Taxi or tram required to get to city centre (~2km), its about eur 10 for taxi and eur 2,3 for tram (eur 7 for day pass) which runs all the time. Bottom line is you get what you pay for - the hotel is relatively close to city centre while still inexpensive, so don't expect too much luxory. 더 보기

I chose the Kap Hotel because of its location. It's near a number of must-see sights in Amsterdam and fairly close to my favorite rijsttafel restaurant as well. I was happily surprised by the service and the spaciousness of our room, too. Unfortunately, our plane was leaving early so I can't report on the breakfast. Nice and quiet neighborhood, close to tram stop. Small room and steep stairs which is acceptable for the relatively lower price. Nice breakfast but not so good wifi signal inside the room.

A charming little hotel in the old south of amsterdam. Very close to everything actually, didnt even needed the use of transportation.. The hotel is small and cozy. The breakfast includes what you need and then some. The staff is relaxed and serviceminded. There is Wifi accesible for 5€ for the entire stay. Showers are miniscule and so are the toilets (which is located in the corridor of each floor, although you only share this with 3 other guests so there is no cue to speak of). If you are disabled or have bad hip/knees this is not for you. No elevators whatsoever and the stairs are steep as ladders (very common though in old amsterdam buildings). All in all this is highly recommended for anyone on a mediumbudget. I will opt for this next time im on holiday in amsterdam! 더 보기

The hotel offers a good price/Performance ratioo, breakfast is good. But there isn't any elevator, so you have to climb up a typical amsterdam narrow and very steep flight of stairs - a nono for people with relevant difficulties

Sådan set helt fint. En smule langt fra "centrum", tilgengæld et roligt nabolag, så man kan få en god nats søvn, som man siger. Alt alt, helt ok.

Cet hôtel, situé dans une rue calme, est d'un confort acceptable mais rudimentaire: chambres qui nécessiteraient un rafraîchissement, accès difficile par un escalier très raide, toilettes sur le palier, douche ouverte sur la chambre, minuscule télévision sans télécommande, accès wifi très lent (tout en étant payant)… Bref, rien de rédhibitoire pour […] bien dormir mais c’est surtout le montant de la facture qui n’est pas en relation avec la qualité médiocre de cet hôtel. 더 보기

Ich empfehle das Hotel gerne weiter, es liegt mitten in Amsterdam. Es ist zwar sehr klein, aber die Zimmer sind angenehm, die Ausstattung im Bad könnte mal wieder überholt und kleine Schäden ausgebessert werden.
