Perfect location, clean and tidy but very small and simple rooms

The room was tiny and the bathroom smelled like something was dead inside. I paid way too much for 2 nights and I will probably never stay there again. It was however very close to all the cafes and the RDL.

This is really a very bad hotel, expensive with poor services.

miniscule room, hostel style, lumpy bed, gigantic pillow, no hanging hooks in the bathroom for your towels, paper thin walls with noisy neighbors / guests and even mosquito! had the worse 2 nights there! not going back there, that's for sure!

Close to central station, tourist office and tour operators. Facility for left luggage. Useful to have vending machine for hot drinks at reception. Very small triple room but comfortable beds (smallish size bed - may not be suitable for a broad person). VERY STEEP stairs, not suitable for people with walking and lifting problems. Hotel location is the only bright side of it. All other sides: High price (for room only), small rooms, no facilities what so ever... If you can avoid stay there, avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!

Enorme déception concernant cet hôtel! Très difficile à trouver car les photos ne correspondent pas toujours à la réalité. L'odeur de la chambre n'était pas très agréable, une WIFI très lente et un personnel qui ne parle pas français. Le système de parking parking privatif est une galère car il faut prêter votre voiture à une organisation extérieure […] qui vous la conduise à 15 km de l'hôtel. Des puces nous ont réveillées en pleine nuit qui d'ailleurs ont le temps de bien nous piquer ! Personel froid.Il ne faut pas avoir des problèmes de dos car il faut porter les bagages sur des escaliers étroits. Le bon point est qu'il est situé proche de restaurants et de la grande gare. Le seul point positif malheuresement ... Je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel. To say that in english I do not recommend you this hostel because, there was problem of parking lot, a cold personel. And you have to be careful ther are fleas in beds... For the one who have backaches be care careful because the the stairs are close. The only good point is that the hostel is near of the station and of restaurants. Don't trust all the photos some are far from the reality... 더 보기

På den gode side: Hotellet er placeret midt på Damrak som grænser op til Red light district, fører op til centralstationen og går parallelt med en af de største handelsgader. På den dårlige: Det er dyrt, beskidt, sengene er ikke specielt komfortable, internetforbindelsen er meget langsom, der er ingen opholdsrum ud over værelserne som i øvrigt er meget […] sparsomt møbleret. På mit værelse var der kun en klapstol ud over sengene. Gangbesværede skal undgå dette hotel (stejle trapper ingen elevator). Har du blot brug for et sted at sove kan det gå an. 더 보기

Bratte og smale trapper i 5 etasjer og uten heis. Men for en byweekend uten behov for å være så mye på hotellrommet er dette ok. Anbefales ikke for eldre folk som er dårlig til beins.... Greit nok hotellet ligger svært sentralt, men prisen var utrolig høy - ihvertfall den helga vi var der. Servicen i resepsjonen var riktignok meget bra, men det bygningsmessige […] var heller så som så. Det var reklamert med "flatskjerm" på rommet, det var en 17 tommer dataskjerm som hengte på veggen. Olimme lukeneet paljon huonojakin arvosteluja hotellista, mutta onneksi kauhukuvat eivät toteutuneet ainakaan omalla kohdallamme. Hotellin sijainti on loistava. Respassa oli ystävälliset työntekijät. Huoneemme oli siisti ja kylpyhuone vasta uusittu. Näkymä tosin oli huono: maantasalla pienelle sisäpihalle, mutta toisaalta liikenteen melu ei meitä päässyt […] häiritsemään. We did not read any reviews of this hotel before we booked. Got very sceptical afterwards when reading all the bad reviews about the bedbugs and rats. We where close to cancel the booking after reading the reviews. The hotel could not be more central. It's between central station and the dam. The rooms where surprisingly good. Seems like they have had […] a makeover. It didn't look like the reviews we read. The rooms had clean sheets and where cleaned both the days we stayed there. Because of beeing so central there are alot of noise 24/7. I did get a room right in the main hall, close to reception. And you will be bothered everytime other guests come in and out. We also read about a chicken smell coming from the fast food store which is below the hotel. Although I stayed in the first floor, I did not smell any of this. nothing impressive. very budget-like. we got a room with 3 beds, a bathroom and a small tv. the room was clean. The beds were very narrow but otherwise comfy. If you want the "hotel experience" this is not the place for you. For us it was litterally just for a place to crash. So our expectations were met.

i reserved by hoteis.com, going to Amsterdam with my wife and 2 children... 4 large bags, hand bags, etc... Good localization if you want to stay near the central station, but terrible acomodations... NO ELEVATOR, very narrow stairs, NO HELP with lugage, NO HELP with internet ( not functioning ), VERY EFFECTIVE TO ORDER CHECK OUT, no curtains at the […] bathroom, so be prepared to get very wet floor over the bathroom and bedroom, NO RECEPTION, just 3 sqmeters. Search for best quality paying just a few more... In Brazil ou States you wold have a really 4 star hotel for the same price... 더 보기

je conceil cet hotel pour des jeunes n'ayant comme besoin que d'y dormir. il est idealement placé, peu cher mais les chambres sont spartiates, des lits une table et cest tout...

En resumen. Camas horribles, incomidas, sucias, con manchas de sangre. Ventana abierta que era imposible cerrar. Sin cortarse un pelo, la solución que nos dan es la de pegar unos mapas que tenían en recepción y tapar la entrada de aire frio en la habitación. Increible!! Al comunicar los problemas en recepción se desentienden y nos dicen de muy malos […] modos que si no nos gusta que nos podemos marchar, pero eso si nos cobrarían las 2 noches contratadas porque esa es su política de cancelación. Además el hotel es carisimo, por ese precio casi mejor irse al NH que está cerca. Situada a la salida de la estación, por lo que es una calle muy sucia y ruidosa. No os equivoqueis, es un robo. Le point fort : Hotel idéalement placé sur la rue principale en face de la gare centrale, a deux pas de la place dam. Pas grand chose à dire de plus, les chambres sont miniscules, les photos du site trés belles par rapport à la réalité. Pour résumé un dortoir idéalement placé. L'accueil est correct.

A pesar de las malas criticas el hotel era bastante decente, limpio, limpian y cambian toallas cada día y el servicio de recepción bastante atento. Llama la atención la empinada escalera que parece imposible de subir, pero por algo es uno de los hoteles mas baratos. Los precios de los hoteles en general en Amsterdam son abusivos.

Pieni hotelli aivan Amsterdamin ydinkeskustassa. Sijainti erinomainen, kaikki nähtävyydet kävelymatkan päässä. Hotellirakennus tyypillistä Amsterdamin keskustarakentamista: ahdas, jyrkät portaat (ei hissiä), matalat huoneet. Oma huoneemme oli pihalle päin, joten näkymänä oli vain vastapäisen rakennuksen seinä 3m päässä ja pulujen "asumustoa". Toisaalta […] huoneemme oli hiljainen koska katumelu ei kuulunut pihan puolelle. Yhtenä yönä saimme jopa vieraita huoneeseemme (hiiri). Ilmoitin aamulla asiasta portieerille, joka pahoitteli asiaa ja lupasi tehdä jotakin. Seuraavana yönä en enää vierastamme tavannutkaan ;) Hiiret ovat kuulemma melko yleisiä Amsterdamin vanhoissa rakennuksissa, joten hyvä tietää etukäteen. Luulen kyllä että 3-4 tähden hotellissa emme tällaisia vieraita olisi kohdanneet. 더 보기

La stanza era piccola e il bagno in corridoio. Il personale comunque è molto cordiale. Va bene solo per dormire e per la posizione ultracentrale (5 min a piedi per stazione e piazza Dam).

Enkelt, trångt,men fungerande för övernattning. Bra sängar. Inget ställe att stanna kvar i rummet på. Mycket vänlig personal. Trånga höga trappor som de flesta i Amsterdam. Bra centralt läge, nära till det mesta och spårvagnshållplats. Fick rum mot sidogränd annars hade nog gatuljudet blivit besvärande genom 1glas-fönstren. Daglig städ och bäddning […] på ett bra sätt. Saknade frukostmatsal men på gatan utanför fanns caféer & restauranger med frukosterbjudande. Nära centralstation f.v.b. Schiphol flygplats. 더 보기

Bodde på hotellet en langweekend, hadde store problemer med å sove pga veldig mye støy fra gaten.Vinduet gikk det ikke ann å lukke skikkelig og rommet var kaldt pga trekk. Sengetøyet var skittent ved annkomst og dusjforhenget var mugglet. Hotellet var vanskelig å finne fra gaten.
