Innsbruck Hotel - 인스브루크

We stayed at Hotel Innsbruck for 1 week, skiing 5 of the days. For skiiers, the hotel is located across the street from the bus stop for the free shuttle buses to all of the local ski resorts, extremely convenient. (The buses pick up at 8:45 and return you around 5:30.) There are several markets, supermarkets, and convenience stores less than a 3 minute […] walk from the hotel as well. We also took the train several days to go to the resorts at the Arlberg. The taxi ride is short ($6 euro) and the train was $15 euro each way, 1 hour trip, drops you off at the base of the mountains. We got by without a car the entire week due to the convenient location of the hotel. Perhaps the best feature about the hotel is the spas. They are excellent, beautifully decorated, kept clean, and very relaxing. We used the spas every night we were at the hotel. Also, the staff was very knowledgable and accomodating, and the hotel was kept very clean. The only thing we didn't like in the hotel were the European feather pillows, and we felt the mattresses could have been a little more comfortable. I stayed in the Innsbruck hotel in December. They put us up on the 5th floor, with rooms facing the old part of town. The location is amazing, the Altstadt is literally around the corner and there are a ton of breakfast places if you don't want to spend 16 EUR/person on the buffet. The only bad part about the hotel was that we could not sleep at all […] because the room was so warm. There was only a tiny window near the ceiling and the AC did nothing. There was also an overhead ceiling fan that helped cool us down, but was so noisy it kept us up anyway. If I were to stay here again I would ask for a room on a lower floor. Unfortunately I am use to US and Asia hotels (200+ nights per yr) which are much tougher on ratings than Europe so I use that comparison. The room was just ok - clean but under whelming and the bed wasn't comfortable for anyone over 6 ft tall - feet hang off The spa - although tiny looked great but it was over 90 degrees that day outside so a steam […] and sauna wasn't really desired It served its purpose for a night - like a Hampton Inn with a less comfortable bed. 더 보기

Hotellet ligger så bra det kan bli vid den gamla bron in till staden. Runt knuten gamla stan med alla trevliga uterestauranger. Många rum verkar ha utsikt mot Nord Kette, nära till bergbanan upp dit. Något sval personal annars klart rekomendabelt.

Tip top und zentral gelegen. :o)
