Il Roseto - 소렌토

This B&B was spectacular. It is on the main road, but a bit out of the way of the center of town. There wasn't much of a sidewalk for about 1/4 of the way between the hotel and the center of town. The sidewalk that exists is a bit uneven and Italian traffic is always a little scary, especially from tiny sidewalks. It's extremely quiet, the wifi was […] reliable for the 4 days we were there, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. Because it was mid-November and therefore pretty cold in the morning, breakfast was served inside the owner's own kitchen. They have a long, 12-person table, and they make cappuccinos right from their own coffee maker. The free parking was a plus, since we had a scooter for part of the time we stayed. Our balcony overlooked a small garden in the back, and it was very quiet the whole time. The heat also worked (which was not the case in a couple other places we stayed), but there was an additional warm blanket in our closet. We took a couple drinks from the mini-bar in the room, and the prices were quite reasonable. The owner's English was perfect and he was very helpful with giving us pointers on how to get to various sites. My husband and I will definitely be back someday. 더 보기

It's a family run hotel and does not offer shuttle service. The owner and his family were friendly. Breakfast in the garden was awesome. However it is not close to the train station. Somehow I forgot to take a taxi and pushed my luggage through the stoned street to get to the hotel. The street numbering was strange, it was 150 when we turned right from […] train station and getting smaller while the hotel street number is 304, which made us to believe we were on wrong direction. So we headed back the street to its end and the number did not reach 304 yet. We had to turn around again and after struggling with the luggage eventually we arrived at the hotel. The next day my back was killing me that I had to stay in the hotel all day and had to go to the hospital the following day. It's a nice hotel. Just remember to take a taxi there. 더 보기

A perfect family run bed and breakfast with a beautiful room and grounds including a great breakfast. Cannot say enough on how we were treated.
