We recently booked our first trip to Europe and Ireland and was very excited to get our first Irish Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Let me preface this by saying that we aren't the typical American "hotel tourist". We like to consider ourselves adventurous TRAVELERS and generally easy going. The breakfast was ok at best. And to top it off, you have […] to pay 6 euro to eat it! Additionally, you have to tell them the night before if you want breakfast or not. I don't eat breakfast every morning and would like to make that decision when I wake up in the morning. Every bed and breakfast I've ever stayed out included the breakfast but apparently not this place. The rooms are extremely small and the satellite TV consisted of 5 channels. The 3 days that I was there, the internet never worked and the lady working the desk didn't seem to care. I understand things happen but at least act like you care and TRY to do something to resolve the issue. Another reason I chose this hotel was for the Wireless internet that was listed as an amenity Lucky there was another open wireless network that belonged to someone else that I could access from the communal sitting room downstairs. The hotel is in a great location but do your ?research first. We chose to walk as opposed to taking the tour buses but be warned that the Temple Bar district is about a 15 mins. Dublin is a small city and can be done on foot depending on what attractions you are interested in. There is plenty of shopping to be had around the area and small convenient stores sprinkled here and there. The hotel doesn't provide a refrigerator (or ice?) so make allowances when shopping. The bus from the Airport drops you off about 2 blocks from the Hotel and comes highly recommended from us. Get off on stop 9 from the airport and you are about 5 minutes walking distances from the hotel. I know I've referred to this BnB many times as "this hotel" but it felt more like a hotel than a BnB. This B&B is central, on a fairly busy street, but with a new annex at the back, so ask for a room there if you are sensitive to noise. It is nice and clean, with friendly and helpful staff. My room was at the top of 4 long stairs, but was nice and quite big. Full breakfast was well worth the money.

The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The room was comfortable and well presented and there was a very cosy living room with an open fire for guest's use which was lovely. Great location too!

Been there one night in july. Felt we got an unpleasant welcome, but the servise got better the next day. Outside our room was construction work going on until late at night. Close by it was partying with a lot of noise until early morning. Not very much sleep...The matrasses were comfortabel, and the room clean. The place was located close to the city […] center. Will chose another guesthouse next time in Dublin. 더 보기
