I stayed here when attending a friend's wedding in 2006 and it was a decent hotel then, but it seems to have barely been touched since and it now looks very dated. I cannot fault the staff who were excellent, but the hotel itself is in dire need of a full refurbishment. The rooms are of a good size but the carpets must have been on their last legs a […] few years ago. The bathroom in the room was very poor - a shower that shot water all over the place, a shower screen so short it might as well not be there and an uneven floor that soaks the floor (it's a good job they give you plenty of towels to soak it up). No irons and ironing boards in the room and the communal one was pretty useless too. 더 보기

We used the hotel to stay over after visiting the Prashad indian which is only 2 miles away, the hotel seemed quite busy,The room was very small for a double room and for £103.00 and £97.00 for a twin room I have got to say was far too much money for bed and breakfast .The breakfast was good and hot,but the hotel itself was all corridors and dated. […] . 더 보기

We stayed here because we were attending a wedding at the nearby Oakwell Hall. The hotel was ok, nothing special but not terrible. We had a couple of lunchtime bar meals which were a decent size and quickly served. The rooms weren't brilliantly ventilated and rather stuffy, with dim lighting. The corridors were the same. We couldn't get the TV to work […] but it wasn't really a problem given our short stay/reason for staying. We thought the bed was surprisingly small, as did several of our friends who also had rooms there; it was comfortable enough though.
