Great room, but a little pricey for the great view of the air conditioning units.

service was good. didnt get the room i requested, and you wouldnt offer a jaccuzzi suite to me when i requested one. i really was wanting a romantic get away with my other half. but got stuck with 2 queen beds in our room. other than that nice place to stay, will probably come back again.

We felt very welcome from the time we hit the door, we were greeted by hotel staff and they were very friendly it was a good stay and would come back again.

The Hotel was very nice, got a player's mini suite. No complaints about the room and hotel service was very good as well. The Casino was not friendly taking mine and my wife's stake very early in the evening allowing us to spend more time in the suite.

Perfect location. Just 10-15 from downtown, the plaza, and worlds of fun. Hotel looks great. Lots of things to do inside too! Casino was ok but we were staying for the kin suite. BIG BIG BIG. We had a view of the river. The bed was ok comfortable (my wife thought it was amazing) but very clean. A little disappointed that we just had a normal tub/shower […] unlike the pictures, but for the price it was an overall good stay. Stayed for business because of price and was pleased to see how much the hotel had to offer. Excellent room, food, and service and the entire staff was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely would stay here again on any return to Kansas City.

I booked 2 rooms and they were on the 6th and 9th floors when we checked in.....Said we needed to be closer than that....so put us in a handicap room which was very sparse....and then had to paid an upgrade to stay in a suite for the other room....they were both on the same floor but at different ends of the hall. Rooms were nice and so was the staff. We came to town for a concert at Sprint Center, cab ride downtown and back was a little over 50.00. I would not hesitate to stay at Ameristar when we come back to KC.

We had a great time. The hotel was very nice and the staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The food was very good too.

I was in town for business and would not stay here again if that were the case. If I were going just to play at the casino, it is an excellent hotel.

The Ameristar hotel and casino was great for a weekend getaway! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There's a free valet service if you stay at the hotel and they are very courteous and fast at retrieving the car. The room itself was very comfortable and very clean. It's the only casino I've been to, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! There's […] a lot to look at (people watching is great) and lots to do. My husband and I have stayed here at the Ameristar on several occasions. Each time before has been nice. However, this time was the exception!! We had purchased tickets to see a show there, plus, we spent dinnner at the Great Plains Cattle Company. (which was very nice). The point I am making is this...my husband gambled and it was 2:00 a.m. before […] we went to bed...at 7:35 A.M. housekeeping banged on the door so loud it woke us up. Mind you, check out is not till 11:00 a.m. and I had prepaid reservations for two months for the top suite!! We told housekeeping that we were still in bed...she was pounding so hard and loud, she did not hear and proceded to try to open the door!! As if that wasn't enough...at 10:15 a.m. as we were packing and throwing the dirty towels in the tub, HOUSEKEEPING was back again!!! Note to self and anyone that likes to sleep in when they are on vacation... leave a message with the front desk NOT TO DISTURB till at least 9:45 a.m. We will not be staying here again. **The reason I gave the room a three...the lotion and soap on the washroom vanity had been used!! The hotel was very nice, clean, quite and customer service was great. The rate is a little high especially when most people will be gambling at the casino and giving back. More people would stay longer if the price of the hotel was cheaper. But we had a great time at this very nice hotel.

I arrived early and asked if they would have a room ready for an early check in. The lady at the front desk told me that it would be a few min, took my phone number and said she would call me as soon as it was ready... 2 hours and 15 min. later I went back to the front desk and asked if the room was ready yet.. she responded "oh! yes! I was just going […] to give you a call!" After an 8 hour drive, to have to wait over 2 hours more to get checked in left me not very happy. i was expecting a pillowtop mattress - it was not. the mattress was beyond firm, way beyond. the room was much smaller than expected. that's out of the way, now on to the good stuff. the housekeeping and maint staff are doing a bang up job. white glove clean & everything worked as it should. this is not a new property, but it looks like it is.

We had a wonderful stay at Ameristar. Very clean and comfortable room. The staff was extremely friendly; everyone who passed us said hello. They even upgraded our room because they couldn't find our reservation right away. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it to others.

AWESOME!!! We went up to the Ameristar for my birthday, valets were polite and helpful, and when we checked in we got upgraded to a mini suite. The hotel staff was friendly, the room and hallways were clean and beautiful. I absolutely loved it! Extraordinarily comfortable bed and everything was so clean and nice. I'll definitely go again. Get there early if u want a fridge but other than that i make this place a destination. Its relaxing, the lighting and decor is to die for, the front desk and the room service people are friendly and outgoing. I even got both my rooms upgraded to suites my most recent visit just because at check in i asked that our rooms not be next door to each other. […] The place is fun and very accommodating. 더 보기

Upon calling ahead before booking with Hotels.com I called to see how far from Sprint Center and was told about 6 miles, was actually more like 9 miles. At checkin asked if they could tell us how to get to the Center and they weren't very helpful, gave us directions not including all the construction downtown, they should have known this, this is their […] business, helping people from out of town see their city. My sister who was traveling with us couldn't wait to get to the Falcon Bakery and restaurant, she has been to one other before and said how good it was, it must have really left an impression. We ate breakfast one morning in the restaurant and it wasn't good at all, we didn't care for the bakery either. I barely touched my breakfast that morning, not too appealling and no taste. I spent $80 on breakfast for four of us and would have tasted better at a an Ihop or Mcdonalds. Not too impressed with any of it....... 더 보기

You know that welcome home feeling you get when arriving to a great hotel? Do NOT expect it here! Service was sub-par and management will treat you as if you're doing them a favor by staying at the hotel. You can also expect the same type of service when dining at the hotel. On a positive note, the rooms are comfortable and up to date.

What a let down. From the moment we pulled up to the congested valet service where no one was around until the time we left it was a stressful visit. Room was dirty. Shower was plugged up. Outstanding room great bed they upgraded us to a Mini Suite. two sinks in bathroom large flat screen TV but not a good quality picture. everything else great. Ate at one of the resturants Arther Bryant's not very good overcooked dry meat.

Very nice accommodations and service.
