보카 호텔 (Boka Hotel) - 런던

우리나라 여인숙 정도의 호텔입니다. 여행당시 G8 summit과 축구경기가 동시에 진행되고 있어서 호텔을 구하시 어려워, 숙박을 하였습니다마능 다른 분에게 권하고 싶지 않은 곳입니다.

Our stay at the Hotel Boka made our visit to London an incredible experience. We loved the fact that it was very close to the tube station, Nando's :), and a grocery store. It was also a plus that the surrounding area was not as crowded as the other areas we saw, so we were able carry our luggage from the tube to the hotel without constricting people's […] paths too badly. Lastly, our concierge, a French gentlemen, was very nice and also very helpful. When we come back to London, we will definitely stay at Hotel Boka again. 더 보기

This was good value - unfortunately the shower was broken however.

The room is small which is typical for London so I don't rate it as negative. For the price I paid it was very clean and I was actually surprised when I got there. The rooms have tiles in the kitchen, and fake hardwood floor which is way better then 10 year old carpets as other hotels. Bathroom was clean and you have free wifi. Good choice.... Extremely close to the Exhibition Centre and tube station. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Room 12 was very clean and although small quite adequate for our needs. Breakfast excellent.

I got a room with three beds even though I was by myself. That was promising, but later I found out that the bedings was kinda filthy (I hate that), and at night there was a machine going on next door - I had a terrible sleep that night. For these two reasons I'm not going back!

I've stayed there with all my family. The rooms are incredibly small, there was not enough space to open two baggage’s at the same time. No space to put the clothes and a very small bathroom. Breakfast almost does not exist and the hotel condition is bad. Reception almost does not work, they say they’re always there but if you call or need them no one […] answers. On the departure day we left the bags in the storage room, when we arrived no one was there. We took our bags and got away. If it was a thief it would do the same easily. However, location is very convenient in a very calm, quiet and good neighborhood. Earl’s court subway station is only some steps away. Conclusion: Price probably a bit exaggerated for the hotel conditions. 더 보기

Good location near the Earls Court tube station. Not fancy but good value.

I had a studio which I liked because of the full kitchen. The place was spartan but bright and clean. Handy to Earls Court tube and a busy commercial area. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff but that's where all the goodness ends with this hotel. It's old, unkempt, the carpets were filthy and the bathroom didn't seem to be very clean. Best to avoid this one unless you have very low standards or are completely desperate for a room in London.

The good things first. The personnel are friendly. It is convenient when travelling to/from Heathrow with Earl's Court underground station minutes away. And within 10 minutes you reach Earl's Court Road where you can find great places for food, beer and coffee. The rest of it was more or less terrible. The room was not clean, spider webs were hanging […] all over the room. The bed was like lying on a bricks. Wi-Fi is not working. The TV is brand new but it is impossible to get a signal. In the bathroom the pipes was incorrectly marked. What were marked as warm water were in fact cold water and the other way around. The window is leaky; a gentle but cold breeze fills the room. The curtain is only covering parts of the window, it is impossible to get a dark room when trying to sleep. The hotel kindly offers instant coffee and tea in the room. It is possible to heat water but there are no cups. I usually have very low demands on a hotel room since I basically only sleep there. Boka Hotel is however my worst experience so far; I am surprised that hotels.com includes it on their homepage. 더 보기

Started with a friend to stay in a room for 2, and last day another friend would show up so total 3. Instead of making us change rooms on the 3rd day, they decided to just give us a quad room, which was great! Overall the hotel was a lot better than expected. The bathroom is a bit dated and there was no shower curtain but I heard that is common place […] in London. The location was great, easy to get into heart of london and also to the airport! The breakfast was good but it isnt a buffet style. They just give bacon, eggs and sausage and bread as a one time serving. The orange juice, cereal and coffee is unlimited though. I did not like that the milk was left in room temperature but also heard that is normal in europe. 더 보기

Toilet was very small and no room service, basic things like drinking water, tea and coffee not provided.

We booked last minute. The hotel is very dingy but the room is surprisingly clean. We were given a loft style room that was crammed with old furniture that looked like it had been collected from discards on the street. whatever we paid was not worth it. We're a young couple without kids and wouldn't recommend it to people like us. this is pretty good if your staying in london on a budget its very close to the station staff were helpful & friendly

This is a buget hotel and came out as the cheapest we could find (in the area we wanted to stay in). It is so close to Earl's Court tube station and on a very lovely street, where Hattie Jacques used to live no less!! Reception is shabby but friendly staff. We were in a basement room with FIVE beds even though we'd only booked a twin. The shower was […] pretty bad (woodrot in door frame) and the toilet was gruesome in every way. On the plus side though, the breakfast was fantastic and we had brand new bedding, which was a relief. If you want a cheap room in a great location, and don't mind living like a student, then this is a great deal. If you're expecting hotel standards, then keep on looking! 더 보기

The service at the reception was very friendly, but the conditions of the room were very low, but within the limits, so that´s alright. I would not recommend this hotel if you are a hygiene freak and cannot tolerate some kind of "uncleanliness". But the worse is the breakfast. The sausage they serve is plastic, no meat at all! This room should not have been in use. There was only one curtain which was hanging off and didn't cover the window. Everything was just a bit broken. The shower was held up by an elastic band. I complained and got the choice of two other rooms which were only very slightly better in that they had curtains (filthy). The room I moved to had so much dirt […] on the windows (inside) and window sills you couldn't see through them. The bathroom window was smashed and the shower was like something out of psycho with mold all over the shower curtain. It may be a budget price but they are still taking the mick. 더 보기

not a good choice at all

Although self declared 'budget' accomodation, I was not prepared for what we had let ourselfs in for. I could cope with the worn carpets etc. However, our room had more furniture in it than we knew what to do with, why do 2 people need 4 chairs? The net curtains were grey and the curtains were too small for the windows. The bathroom had a toilet room […] holding the window open, waterstained tiles on the shower floor and used showergel sachets still in the shower! Although budget these things I would consider a lock on the bathroom door as standard! Breakfast, although included in the price, was however the most offensive artical of the stay. As a vegetarian I asked for just beans on toast whilst my partner was having the works. However, I was delivered with a plate of bacon, sausage and egg! When I tried to explain the waiter tried to take both plates away, but my boyfriend held onto his. I was then shortly delivered with two saucers (yes a teacup saucer), one of toast and the other of beans! By this point I was past trying to explain and just tried to eat my breakfast. 더 보기

Vi valgte Boka hotel pga. dets fine beliggenhed, det tager 2 min at gå til Earls Court. Vi havde valgt et 4 pers.-værelse, som viste sig at være EKSTREMT småt. Desuden varmt som en sauna, fordi radiatoren havde stået på maks hele dagen (eller måske i flere dage..). Der var ikke meget hjælp at hente i receptionen - den første vi spurgte sagde blot at […] der ikke var noget at gøre ved det, fordi det var centralregulereret, mens den anden forsøgte at skrue ned for den med en tang. Han sagde den ville være slukket efter 20 min, men det tog 5 timer. Hotellet er ok, men vi har prøvede væsentlige billigere hoteller i nærheden, som er bedre end dette, dog lidt længere væk fra Earls Court. Boka Hotel jest to raczej hotel na jedną noc, spędzilismy tam 2 noce i niczym nas nie zachwycil. Ogólny brud, remont trwający już conajmniej od roku, hałas od samego rana, dziwne spojrzenie na nas gdy przyszliśmy na śniadanie o 9.15 a wydawane było do 9.30. Sam smak śniadania również niczym nie zachwycił. Ogólnie, jeśli ktoś nie ma innego wyboru można […] się zatrzymać, ale zeby zrobić to z przyjemnością to nie mogę powiedzieć. 더 보기

Slitet - men rent. Mitt rum på andra våningen hade trägolv istället för äcklig heltäckningsmatta. Dessutom eget pentry. Bra läge nära tunnelbanestationen Earl's Court, som ligger efter Picadilly Line som är den linjen som går ut till Heathrow. Frukost ingår, vilket gör det än mer prisvärt. Vänlig personal. Fick låna adapter till elkontakterna. Fri WiFi; […] dålig täckning på andra våningen, men helt OK längre ner. Rekommenderas för den som ändå inte tillbringar tiden i London på hotellet. 더 보기

Det var godt nok værelse med køkken og der var både køleskab og komfur som lovet, så vi havde mulighed for at lave mad, hvis der så bare havde været en gryde eller en pande. For slet ikke at tale om service: 2 gafler, 2 knive, 3 skeer, 2 glas, 3 krus, 2 flade tallerkener og en dyb, det var alt hvad der var i skabene og vi var 3 personer (der var senge […] til 4). Sengene var ganske gode, værelset størrelse var passende og personalet var flinke. Hoteller ligger ikke ret langt fra undergrundsstationen Earls Court, så beliggenheden var fin. Det er et billigt hotel, som fortjener de to stjerner det har. 더 보기

Hotellet lægger rigtig godt , der er vel 4 min gang til tre tube . Dog var der næsten intet vand i bruseren , s det var umuligtbat vaske hår . Sengene var heller ikke til at råbe hurra for . Morgenmaden var typisk engelsk , og man fik lov til at bytte beans ud med æg , så på den måde var de hjælpsomme . Ellers var det generelt er slidt hotel . Vil anbefale […] det til de ikke særlig sarte som rejser på et budget . Dog vil jeg ikkenselv komme tilbage til dette hotel. 더 보기

slechts een beoordeling is mogelijk. Ronduit SLECHT... Je kan niet veel verwachten van een BUDGET HOTEL maar warm water is toch essentieel! Als je iedere dag moet pendelen naar LONDON HEATROW (gelukkig een aansluitende metrolijn) om een warme douche te kunnen nemen, dan betaal je beter iets meer, heb je een mooie kamer, beter bed, propere service en […] een degelijk ontbijt. 더 보기

Hotellerne i England er nok generelt ikke i ret god stand, så når det er sagt så var hotellet udemærket. Der var noget beskidt, men det kunne sagtens gå et par dage. Hotellet lå rigtig godt.

Bom, o que mais me agradou foi a localização privilegiada, apenas 300mts da entrada da estação Earl's Court pela Warwick Road, que tem duas linhas de metrô passando por ela, uma maravilha pra quem vai fzr compras e tem que carregar muitas malas, pois alem de perto, a calçada não é ruim. o hotel em si é razoavel pra quem vai sozinho ou no maximo em 2, […] pra familia ja nao recomendo ate mesmo pq nao tem nada pra se fzr no hotel, a não ser que o filho já nao seja tão pequeno, meu quarto apesar de nao ser grande tinha 2 camas novas e confortáveis(tipo box), sendo 1 de casal, tinha frigobar, microondas, fogão eletrico, aquecedor de agua pra fzr chá (tava imunda e nem usei), armarios, tava mais pra apart-hotel, o banheiro é simples, só senti falta de uma tomada dentro e de um box, pois era cortina, e meia curta, então molhava um pouco o banheiro, mas tbem nada de tão absurdo. uma coisa que deveriam melhorar é colocar uma cortina mais escura no quarto e uma cortina que tampasse a claridade que vem da porta, pois a mesma tem um vidro jateado no meio que deixa passar a luz, então quem quer dormir até mais tarde, vai ter problemas. deveriam trocar tbem o guarda roupas pois parece que é da época do império, mas tava limpo. a tv pega uns 5 canais só e a imagem meio ruim ainda, mas tem entrada de audio e video, o que facilita caso queira levar algum aparelho. tem aquecedor mas nao tem ventilador, então só abrindo a janela mesmo caso esteja calor. a conexão WI FI pegou numa boa dentro do quarto(2º andar). acomoda bem 2 pessoas, com a 3º já teriam que se espremer um pouco, principalmente se passar de uma mala por pessoa. o café da manha é dureza pra quem não tá acostumado, pois é o tradicional deles, ovo, bacon, feijão e linguiça. nham nham! torradas, suco de laranja(de caixinha), café, leite e cereal matinal tipo sucrilhos tbem tinha. frutas nao vi nem em quadro na parede(tbem nem reparei muito). quem nao quer esse tipo de alimentação logo cedo, tem a opção de ir ao mercado, que fi 더 보기

Hotel tres bien place a2minutes du metro earls court quartier des evenements, situe dans tres beau quartier, hotel 2etoiles faut pas chercher le luxe non plus pour le rapport qualite prix. Dans l ensemble siffisant pour des personnes qui ne cherchent rien d autre que dormir.

Geboekt nav het Great British Beer Festival in het Exhibition Centre, letterlijk vlak om de hoek. Geboekt na toch wat argwaan gezien de uiteenlopende commentaren, maar 100% meegevallen. Wij hadden een kamer op de 3de verdieping. Het vermelde "verschuiven van meubels" in een van de commentaren is gewoon het geluid van de lift en vond ik persoonlijk […] niet storend. De kamer was verzorgd, we hadden een 2 persoonskamer geboekt en we kregen een 4 persoonskamer voor dezelfde prijs. Het gratis ontbijt was een leuk detail, keuze tussen ontbijtgranen of English breakfast in een ietwat verouderde ontbijtkamer op de benedenverdieping. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Prijs-kwaliteit prima. Als ik ooit terugkeer naar Londen, zal ik eerst kijken of er nog een kamer vrij is in het Boka Hotel. 더 보기

Det er et billigt hotel og man må tage det derefter. Værelset var fint, men havde dog ikke tv som lovet. Det blev der alligevel heller ikke brug for, da man var så træt om aftenen at man gik direkte i seng. Hotellet er til dem med behov for at bo centralt, for hotellet har en rigtig god beliggenhed lige ved earls court metro station, få stop fra hyde […] park corner, og i gå afstand fra chelsea (kæmpe) fodboldstadion, hvis man er til den salgs. Morgenmaden var ikke spændende men fin nok. Hotellets personale var flinkt og meget hjælpsomt med alt fra check in til bestilling af taxa mm. Alt i alt et rigtig godt hotel, taget prisen i betragtning. Ikke nok med at jeg vil anbefale hotellet, jeg vil også bo her igen. 더 보기

I forhold til prisen er hotellet rigtig fint. Vi fik et tremands værelse til to personer og vores datter et værelse ved siden af. Værelserne var rene og pæne med gode badeforhold. Beliggenheden perfekt nær central metrostation. Absolut et hotel vi vil vende tilbage til, ved vores næste tur til London.

Inquiet avant d'y aller, j'étais plutôt surpris en bien après choque en arrivant -.c'est vrai en pleine rénovation aucun hôtel est idéal. Pas de dérangeant pour nuit et matin, Pour le prix et la location rien à dire. Très basique chambre trop petit pour deux lits, enlever des meubles mettre des lampes de chevet et elle serait mieux .

Good budget alternative. Really close to two tube stations. Clean towals every day. Breakfast was simple but ok (not very fun for vegetarians though). You can get as much toast as you want! ;P

Boka hotel er et billigt hotel, hvilket er en fordel for folk, der ikke bruger meget tid på hotellet, men hellere vil bruge sin tid i London. Beliggenheden er sådan set fin nok, da metro-stationen Earls Court ligger 2 min. gang derfra med let adgang til flere af de centrale metro-linjer. Hotellet er slidt, men fejler sådan set ikke noget, og de ansatte […] er hjælpsomme og høflige. Morgenmaden er dog begrænset til bacon, bønner, spejlæg, pølse, toastbrød og cornflakes, så man skal ikke forvente den helt store buffet. 더 보기

Vi ankom trætte og parate til en middagslur inden vi skulle ud i Londons hektiske gader. Larmende håndværkere i kælderen hele dagen satte en stopper for afslapningen. Et helt nyt badeværelse, hvor toilettet ikke kunne skylle og uden varmt vand. Erstatningstoilet på en anden etage var ulækkert!Personale, der knap kunne forstå engelsk - var høflige og […] prøvede at hjælpe, men manglede servicemindedhed og engagement. Dette hotellet trenger en totalrenovasjon. Hadde dette vært i Norge, hadde det garantert blitt stengt. Det var så møkkete i den "såkalte" frokostsalen at det kan ikke være forsvarlig å servere mat der i det hele tatt. Billig hotel, men velg for all del noen kroner dyrere hotel.

Fin beliggenhet. Mindre god standard (veldig slitt)på rommet jeg fikk i underetasjen. Prøvde å bytte, men ikke mulig.Grei frokost!

Perfect location - cheap!! We stayed 2 nights in a 4bed room. The room was clean with your own shower, kitchen, tv etc. The only complains we got was the breakfast and the lady working that shift. Very rude and the food was bad. But we didn't care that much due to the low room rent :) / sweden
