We had a nice time. Very nice, quiet and you are right in town. You can even walk down to where you go on the whale watching boats!

No WiFi, no breakfast, small room. Hotel itself is OK for 1 or 2 nights, but too expensive for what is offered.

location was great parked the car and walked to everything downtown . we walked to the bus that took us into Arcadia National Park . did not need to use our car while we were in bar Harbor. romms clean .

This motel is located within walking distance of the shops and the shore. It's great that my friends and I could be near to all the activity without having to worry about parking our car!

Nice and quiet, friendly and clean. Right downtown on main street near everything.

Lived in Bass Harbor many years ago and familiar with this motel. Great location but it is a motel so do not expect resort comfort. Parking was a problem after 6:00 pm so park early and I did have one complaint with room services not changing the sheets after one of my children had an accident but it was corrected when brought to the attention of management. […] I would stay again. 더 보기

Older hotel, but very well kept. Very convenient location!

I'll stay here next time I visit Acadia. Excellent location, friendly staff, very helpful at the front desk. No complaints about the hotel.

We stayed two nights and were very pleased- We could have paid more, but the location and condition of this motel couldn't have been better! I highly recommend it for a no frills, clean motel right in the center of Bar Harbor.

Our pair of twentysomethings had a nice, comfortable stay at the motel. It has everything one might expect for a reasonable rate and is ideally located.

You can't beat the location-five minute walk to anything in central Bar Harbor. Friendly, helpful staff who will make a fresh pot of coffee, or change a burned-out light bulb immediately.

Loved this place. Simple but very clean...the cotton sheets were of awesome quality. Deli across the street for coffee/b'fast and lunch 7AM-2PM through mid Oct.. Lobby had coffee as well. Price was the best considering location compared to anything near this area. Lacked a view but who hangs out in a hotel? Walked to restaurants, shore walk, pubs, shops […] and the harbor. Clean, location in Bar Harbor close to all the shops and restarants. Outdoor pool is advertised as heated, it's solar heated, so unless it's very warm outside it's too cold to swim it it. Staff friendly, overall good stay.

The Villager Motel was no frills but clean in a great location. Walk to all shops and restaurants. One block to the square where you can catch the Acadia buses. You can walk to Bar Island.

This is a typical motel. It's well maintained, clean, and nicely located on main street Bar Harbor. Somewhere else it would cost $100 less, but it is an expensive area.

Basic motel in excellent position, right on edge of town. The most unfriendly reception staff we came across on our whole trip to America.

The only thing going for this motel is that it's close to the center of town. Upon arrival, we had 3 failed attempts entering my room, each time with keys marked with the correct room number. After last failed attempt with Manager, we were moved to a different room. Had reserved room for 4, but received room comfortable for 2. For amount paid, rooms […] need serious cleaning & remodeling. This motel was perfectly fine. We stayed here, wanting to have a place to sleep while we enjoyed Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It provided a great place for that. It's in an area where not much time is spent in your room, so paying two and three times as much for a hotel room is impractical. The only issue we had was that the wireless access […] did not work on a particular side of the motel. The location is excellent - easy walk to downtown and good restaurants. The motel was clean and comfortable - fairly bare bones but that was as expected for a motel. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. The price was a bit high for what you get but it was the best value we found, since we went in peak tourist season. Location Downtown Bar Harbor was perfect. It was updated with new carpet and refurbished chairs. the room was clean. No clock. No coffee pot. No hair dryer. No breakfast, coffee and tea in the office. Blanket was dirty, asked for a clean one and the maid changed it.

Great place to stay if you are traveling on a budget. Basically just a warm bed and shower. Pro. Great location and price. Clean and neat. Con. No fridge, no alarm clock, no hair drier.

The motel is right in the middle of bustling Bar Harbor but I found it quiet at night. We found the reviews were right on, this is a clean and convenient choice for staying here. The ride to Acadia Park is easy as well. Yes, we saw many other fancier choices but who spends alot of time in your room when there is so much else to see and do?

Location was fantastic right where you want to be. The room was nice for being a motel verus a high end hotel. Why spend more money in a worse location?

This hotel is right in downtown Bar Harbor, so there was no need to drive and find a place to park. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little old, but kept up as well as could be expected. I have no complaints.

The Villager is just off the square in downtown Bar Harbor and a 5 minute walk to anything in town. Additionally, it is a very short drive to the Loop Road in Acadia. Given that the nightly rate is consideraly less than the surrounding hotels, the value is outstanding. In our experience, this means that the quality of the hotel is going to be a bit […] poor. This is not the case at the Villager. While the rooms are no frills, they are quite comfortable and very clean. We spent 2 days in this hotel in the middle of June 2009. Room was OK, price was quite reasonable, location - very convenient.

Propre et très bien situé, au coeur de la ville! Une attention particulière a été portée pour nettoyer nos motos; un sac de chiffons nous a été laissé sur les motos le matin! C'est bon de se sentir les bienvenus, même en motos!

Motel w centrum, wszędzie blisko na piechotę (oczywiście nie do parku, bo tam trzeba pojechać autem), jedyny mankament, było trochę zimno (środek października), a klimatyzacja chyba tylko chłodziła.

Schönes, zentral gelegenes Motel. Frischer Kaffee am Morgen.
