La Papessa B B - 로마

Frendly, pleasent, clean and comfortable, good location. Perfect for us at this time feeling more private living.

I spent my 60th birthday,in Rome together with my daughters. Our stay at the Papessa was really good. Very nice people and a superb location. Couldn,t be better

My wife and I just got back from a week in Rome and Florence and in Rome we stayed at La Papessa. The staff were very helpful and friendly, both before we arrived and after we got there. They arranged a car from Fiumicino, after we had a nice email discussion of the relative costs and comforts of private car versus cab or train+cab. For a few euro […] more than a cab, the private car was far and away the best deal, and the driver they hired was pleasant, fast, and friendly. We stayed in the Knight of Swords room (all the rooms use the tarocchi imagery), which is an interior room and very quiet at night. Since La Papessa faces the Via del Corso, a main street, that was very nice. Large room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The morning pastries, coffee, and sundries were a good start each day. This is a nice B&B, not a deluxe hotel, so you have a bit of wrangling up a short flight of stairs to the (classically phone booth sized) elevator. There is no porter. The main charm of La Papessa is location-location-location. Five minute stroll, tops, to Fontana di Trevi. Five more past that to Piazza Barberini, and the Metro station there. Five minutes in the opposite direction to the Pantheon, and past that to Piazza Navona. Five minutes down Via del Corso to the Vittoriano, and five past that to the Foro/Collosseo complex. Buses to everywhere run up and down V. del Corso. If you want a Roma Pass (we bought them) there is a tourist kiosk just up the street where you can get one. Several bancomats eithin a block or two so drawing euros was always easy. Quick shops for a snack, water or fruit juice, wine, a cup of coffee, etc. all eithin a block or two. It was a lovely stay and we thank the folks at La Papessa for making our Roman holiday a real delight. 더 보기

Great location. Five-minute walk to Pantheon or Trevi Fountain, Good value accommodation.

We have been traveling all over Europe, this was one of the most comfortable places we have stayed. Everything very clean and nice, and very quiet and private. Due to small size and location, it feels more like a private apartment. The rooms are located on 3rd foor, there is a lift, and hotel staff very helpful. We parked in the underground lot - under […] the park, and took a cab - very short ride. The hotel is easy walking to major sites and very good restaurants nearby - the hotel staff can recommend. I would stay here again. Due to the quiet nature - I slept better here than anyplace else. No annoying hotel noises. 더 보기

Sehr, sehr freundlicher Service, unglaublich bemüht und sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wie üblich in Italien entspricht Frühstück nicht den deutschen Anforderungen, für Italien dafür aber schon wieder außergewöhnlich gut.

We really enjoyed our stay in this very nice B&B. As we did not want an impersonal room in a hudge chain of hotel, we were very happy to find a very typical and charming place with all comfort expected. Moreover the location in the city was perfect and we did not need to take the bus or any taxi to visit most famous places. To book blindfold !!!

Meget sentralt,kunne gå til alle de viktigste severdigheter,fint rom,kjempekoselig ansatte på "hotellet",ypperlig hjelp når du spurte om noe."Hotellet" hadde bare 5 rom,så det var stille i resepsjon,personalet reiste ca 1400.Heisen beg. i 2.etg,så kofferter måtte bæres en etg.opp og bæres en etg ned til heisen, fra døren inn til hotellets resepsjon.Hotellet […] lå i 3.etg. Kombinasjonen av en *meget* sentral beliggenhet (i forhold til de største turistattraksjonene og "shoppedistriktet" rundt Via dei Condotti), bra romstandard, flott service, nøye renhold og tilnærmet støyfrie rom gjør dette hotellet til en liten juvel i sentrale Roma. Dette er et lite leilighetshotell ("Bed & Breakfast" - inneholder kun fire rom i byggets […] tredje etasje) uten døgnåpen resepsjon, men frokost serveres her hver morgen - og det svært hjelpsomme personalet (Caterina og Marcella) er til stede inntil ca kl 13 hver dag. Beliggenheten er likevel den aller største fordelen ved å bo her: Colosseum, Forum Romanum og Palatinerhøyden er bare en liten spasertur på 10-15 minutter lenger ned i gata. Pantheon-tempelet ligger ca 500 m Vest for hotellet (i et område som inneholder mange trivelige og relativt rimelige restauranter), og Trevifontenen ligger "like rundt hjørnet" - ca 300 m Nordøst for hotellet. For en tur til Vatikanet og St Peterskirken (ca 3km unna(?)) anbefales taxi - det er ikke veldig langt dit heller, men til dels ubehagelig i steikende sol og gjennom mer trafikerte gater enn de som ligger rundt hotellet. Jeg vil anbefale La Papessa til alle som ønsker et problemfritt hotellopphold med en sentral beliggenhet! Jeg og min kone hadde et fantastisk opphold der i August 2011, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake. 더 보기
