마르퀴스 플라자 호텔 (Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Windsor) - 윈저

I won't be going back to this hotel, smoking is allowed in some rooms and I could smell it....and I have an allergy to smoke, The toilet and sink were not tightly secured to the wall and floor. Decor was somewhat outdated even though it was advertised as re-done.

This hotel is a fine place to stay at a very affordable rate. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast which included a choice of cereal, waffles, bagels, toast and muffins. Free Wi-Fi was great, too.

Beds were very comfortable! The room was old and the carpet needed to be vacuumed in the corners. The bathroom door would not click shut, the door handle was malfunctioning. We had a good stay, the hotel was quiet and again, the beds were very comfortable. We would stay again because of the friendly service and comfortable sleep.

Very clean and friendly staff. Only thing missing was a luggage rack. We would stay there again with no hesitation. A 5 Star destination.

Thanks Hotels.com for the availability you had for me when I needed to book last minute along with a great rate; close to necessary amenities too. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that I could smell smoke at the front entrance of the building, in the morning - Yuck! very nice hotel my room was clean and comfortable good for short stays only was not keen at being asked if they could photo copy my passport ``for id purposes`` i refused and they never pushed it further`i have never every been asked this before and that made me uncomfortable

First - the beds were too hard Second, the receptionist who registered us did not listen to what I said - thus she had to move us twice because we had a dog - I told her, she didn't listen - then we got called at 9:30 so she could tell us that we had to pay extra for the dog and she "forgot". The next morning I accidentally made a spill at the breakfast […] - I asked the nearest employee, the receptionist (a different one), for something to clean up the spill, which I was willing to do myself - she just stared at me with no comment for 30 -40 seconds. I asked her if she spoke English, at which time she basically said I was stupid - I left the mess, got my stuff, and left the hotel, never to return again. 더 보기

Stayed at this hotel on a Friday night before going across the border for a Red Wings game on Saturday. It was only minutes to the border. For the price its a great hotel. The room was standard, a little worn out - clean but nothing extra, however the staff was exceptional - pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is just off the highway and easy to find. Good value, clean rooms with some dated furniture & surroundings. Bonus was having a coffee chain located next door. Front Desk staff have always been friendly at check in. I don't eat the provided continental breakfast at any hotel(s), so while supplied I can't comment on the quality. This hotel was very clean, and the room comfortable. Older hotel but for a night stay - good. The front desk staff didn't know the price of a taxi or could give me shuttle service information. The parking was free, but it would of have been nice if they could help me with information on airport transportation. I had to find the airport and pay airport […] parking fees. Everything was good in this hotel, just there was a bit noise of heating system in the room at night.

the only problem i had was being charged a 50 dollar fee for a deposit (i assume for any damages ) and upon check out i was told all was good and no extra charges applied to me??? Later to find out my visa will be charged up to 5 business days as your policy THAN released???How do they know if any damage may have been done by others in those 5 days […] and why not ONLY charge me IF there was damage upon inspection on the hour of my checkout??? I was VERY pleased with this hotel. It was exceptionally clean for a 2 star , quiet, comfortable beds , and easy to find even though I had never been in the city before.

Just a cheap place to stay, nothing fancy at all

Hotel was a little outdated but comfortable. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast. Only annoyance was that our key card locked us out of our room every second day and had to be reprogrammed. For the money, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

the hotel states that there is wi fi ; yes there is -in the lobby area but not in my room (main floor)

What we like most in this hotel is its quiet neighborhood location, quick and no hassle check in, clean room and well arranged utilities, fresh shower (not to mention the free hot coffee and cake in the morning) and the very peaceful sleep we had during our stay.

Your motel was great. Microwave and fridge were a bonus. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Mondays and we had to eat elsewhere.

Don't waste your money by staying here - what hotel refuses to give you an extra blanket?? This one! I had to argue with the manager on the phone (as she had left for the day) in order to get an extra blanket... unbelievable

I booked 2 rooms and one of the room's washroom light was out, and it got fixed right away when we told front desk. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. It was far enough away from downtown that you didn't get the bar traffic from the party goers.

There is a Coffee machine in the room. Which is to be commended. However the reservations was for two people in one room. My question is why do they only provide serving for just one person. One cup and one Coffee bag for One. When we wrote a note for the next day, note was not even answered. We then complained to reception but she was very unhelpful […] and said they have no more coffee bags for the coffee machine in the rooms. If this is the case, why offer this service !!!! 더 보기

Hi there, I like hotel howard Johnson, the location wasn't far from river park, it's close to malls too. Room was ok as long as far from Tim Hortons.

Nothing Fancy - close enough to downtown if you are driving. Was everythinbg we expected. A little confusing to find as Hotel had two names on it. Travelling south the sign indicated Howard Johnsons but travelling North it was identified with signage of a non-chain hotel. Turns out it was a franchise licensed operator

Not very clean, the glasses in the bathroom were dirty, and the shower did not work properly, actually the button to switch the shower on was broken. The bathroom sink was not cleaned. For the price you pay, it was not very nice.

All was good as a convenient place to stay on our way back from the south. However, we were on the ground floor at the rear of the building and well within hearing distance of the Horton's drivethru!! Late at night and early in the AM. These rooms should have a discount rate.

I got in very late (1:30AM) but they were very courteous. Complimentary breakfast had no fresh fruit. I left at 11AM so I didn't spend too much time in the hotel but it was good. I slept well and there was free parking. Just don't confuse this hotel with the other Howard Johnson in Windsor which is downtown and has been open for many years. Hotellet verkar ok vid först anblicken, speciellt med det kostnadsläget. Dock dras betyget ner först och främst pga sur personal. Receptionens personal, som var tre olika vid vår vistelse, var samtliga inte alls tillmötesgående. Nästa stora problem är att hotellledningen som så många andra, inte begriper att genom luft färdas ljud allra bäst. Stora […] springor mellan dörr och karm samt under dörrar skapar fruktansvärd överhörning inte bara fråm korridoren utan också från rum till rum, Märkligt man inte gör nånting åt det trots en relativt enkel och prisvärd åtgärd.
