You get the impression that this hotel is"downtown" Athens but it is not. It is 7 miles from "downtown". So if you want "downtown" don't stay here. that is the only complaint, just that it is misleading in location.

Clean, very friendly desk staff. We've stayed here maybe six times and it is always consistently good. One morning there was a huge youth gymnastics team all eating breakfast at once. The staff handled this very well. We've arrived after midnight several times and the night clerks have always been friendly and accommodating .

As far as maintenance is concerned, the property looks to be quite new so the property was in great condition. Also it looked like the hardware and other materials were definitely above standard quality. Nicest hotel bathroom I have EVER seen. The complimentary HOT breakfast offered was top notch. My wife and I were very pleased with the suite room. Nicely arranged, clean and very comfortable. Quite new, but also higher quality workmanship than typical. The breakfast was average, but good. We would stay again.

Was in town for a wedding in Bogart which was not too far from the hotel. This is my second stay at a Springhill Suites hotel and it was even better than the first. I did feel like the one in Savannah was more spacious but this location is still a lot of space. We really loved the decor and my dad liked that he could hang out in the living room area […] that was semi separate from the beds. And there was plenty of space in the suite for me, my toddler, and my parents. Will definitely stay here if I'm whenever I'm in Athens. However I will probably have breakfast away from the hotel. Very nice, very pleased with this hotel and staff.

Very good rooms and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The only issue that I have is the GYM is very limited. 2 treadmills and an elipitical machine.. No room for anything else.... It is a shame that so little area was allocated. Otherwise a really nice visit.

Very nice, clean, new hotel. Loved the color scheme and our suite was really well appointed and stylish! While one of the desk clerks was most unhelpful, the other went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The room was great and the hotel was quiet. The morning breakfast was a great addition.

The overall facility is nice and the rooms are nicely furninshed in a modern style. We felt that noise from the hallway was transmitted through the door a bit easily but fortunately the hotel was not very crowded. The front desk took an extrordinary amount of time to check us in (along the order of 15 minutes). Returned home and recieved our credit […] card statement showing that we had been charged twice. Everything was new! The suite design was well executed. One good thing about this new design of "business hotels" is how quiet they are. The service was very helpful and friendly.
