상하이 바론 비즈니스 호텔 (Shanghai Baron Business Hotel) - 상하이

3박 했었는데 위치가 정말정말 와이탄과 가깝습니다. 와이탄쪽으로 살짝 가면 '그랜드마더 레스토랑'이라고 맛있고 유명한 식당도 있구요. 난징동루역보다 와이탄이 가깝습니다. 근처에 푸동 야경이 보이는 글래머라는 바도 있는데 드레스코드를 갖춰야하나 싶었을 정도로 분위기있는 곳입니다. 청소상태도 좋고 매일 생수 두병씩 줘서 물을 따로 사지 않아도 되어 편했습니다. 다만 화장실에서 약간의 냄새가 나긴 해요. 주변 경관은 삭막한 편이라 커튼치고 지냈네요. 단점이라면 방에서 와이파이가 안되기 때문에 로비에 내려와서 써야 합니다. 그런데 기계에 문제가 있는지 와이파이가 잘되었다 안되었다합니다-_- 저녁에 담날 놀러갈 곳 정보를 검색하려고 […] 할때 종종 당황스러웠어요. 인터넷이 안되서 로비에 말하면 기계를 껐다 켜주는데 그럼 좀 연결이 됩니다;; 그리고 로비에서 흡연이 가능하기 때문에 로비에서 와이파이 쓰기가 상당히 괴로웠습니다. 방에서는 랜선 제공되니까 노트북이 있었다면 더 편했을 것 같더라구요. 호텔닷컴에 나오는 지도는 위치가 다르니까 구글에서 지도 검색해보고 가세요~ 이상하게 호텔닷컴에서 예약하면 위치랑 지도가 다른 경우가 많더라구요-_-a 장점: 와이탄과 가까워서 야경 보러 가기 좋다. 맛집이 근처에 있다. 검색했을때 와이탄 근처면서 이정도로 저렴하고 시설 괜찮은 곳은 드문 편임. 단점: 로비에서 스마트폰으로 와이파이 쓸때 자주 연결이 끊어지고 담배연기를 참아야 한다. 더 보기

전체적으로 별로임. 특히 입구가 찾기힘들어 주위에서 30분을 빙빙 돌아 겨우 찾아냄. 호텔 서비스도 엉망임.

역에서 가깝긴 하지만 좀 걸어야합니다. 그나저나 호텔즈 닷컴에서 예약할 때 나오는 위치랑 구글 맵에서 검색해 나오는 위치의 차이가 심합니다;; 꼭 체크하시길 바랍니다. 이외에 호텔 시설이나 서비스 등은 만족할만합니다. 친구랑 왔었는데 딱 친구들이랑 같이 놀러오기 좋은 수준? 주변이 약간 어두운 느낌의 동네라 애들은에겐 약간 미묘한 위치네요. 연인끼리 오기도 나쁠 것 같지 않습니다 아무래도 와이탄 강가가 매우 가까워서요(그러고보니 와이탄 강가가 매우 가깝다는게 큰 장점!). 주변에 편의점만 있구 큰 마트 같은게 없다는 게 아쉽습니다. 참고로 숙소에서 나간 뒤 바로 우측 블록에 있는 그랜드마더 레스토랑이 꽤 괜찮습니다. […] 추천합니다. 더 보기

난징동루 3번 출구에서 나와 찾아가는 길이 캐리어를 끌고 가긴 좀 번거롭다고 해야하나...인도가 너무 좁아서 힘들었어요. 길도 좀 더럽기도 했구요...-_-; 호텔은 외관은 허름해보이지만 안은 꽤 쾌적한 환경이었습니다. 이용객들도 중국사람뿐만 아니라 많은 외국인들이 이용하고 있었구요. 그래서 카운터에 직원들은 모두 영어가 가능했습니다. 청소는 청소를 해달라는 버튼을 누르지 않으면 바닥 청소까진 안 해주고 화장실 수건정리 휴지통 비우기정도만 해줍니다. 와이탄과의 거리가 5분도 안되서 야경을 매일 밤마다 즐길수 있어서 넘 좋았어요. 난징동루, 예원, 신천지, 푸동 등...주요 관광지와 가까워 관광을 다니기에 편리했습니다. 하지만...한가지 […] 단점은 방음이 잘 안된다는 점이었습니다. 옆방에 시끄러운 중국 여행객 때문에 잠을 좀 설쳤어요. -_-; 그리고 근처에서 종이 15분마다 울리는데...은은한 종소리긴 하지만 혹시 작은 소리에도 민감하신 분이라면 비추천입니다. 가격에 대비해볼 때 완전 만족스러운 호텔이었습니다.^-----^ 더 보기

Its quite a cheap hotel with this location, rooms, and services. If you wanna get a room from this level of hotel in US of Europe, it might be 4 times expensive or more. 난징동루역 3번출구에서 걸어서 10분정도 거리에 있고 바로 쭉 나가면 멋진 와이탄이 있습니다! 호텔 테라스도 있어서 괜찮았고 시설도 괜찮았지만 묵는 동안 수건과 화장실청소 쓰레기통만 비워주고 바닥같은데 떨어진 부스러기같은것들은 청소 잘 안해주시더라구요 그래도 여기서 예약하면 가격도 괜찮고 위치도 굿굿 그리고 서비스가 매우 친절했어요 영어도 할줄 알으시고 ! 추천합니다!

와이탄과 난징동루에서 걸어서 5분도 채 안걸립니다 접근성이 너무 좋았고, 가격 대비 모든 면에서 만족스러웠습니다. 이용했던 룸은 테라스가 딸린 디럭스룸이었는데, 룸 시설 면에서 한가지 아쉬운 점은 화장실 세면대에서 차가운 물이 안나오고 테라스 건너로는 다른 건물 창문들이 있어서 커텐을 다 치고 지낼 수 밖에 없다는 점...호텔 선정 기준이 가격, 접근성과 룸 청결도 이 3가지만이라면 최고의 호텔인듯...

A good, simple hotel for a quick trip. Our room was large and comfortable, and the location was unbeatable - right on the Bund at a good price!

The Bund River walk is 1.5 blocks away. The East Najing Metro station is 4 blocks away.

As others have said, it has a very good location, able to walk to the bund and Nanjing road from the hotel. Others have pointed out that it is also tucked inside an alley. Fortunately, there was the hotel's signage at the front of the alley, so we were able to see which alley it was.

This hotel is in a great location, very clean and rooms very comfortable. The important things were right...it was clean, good shower and bathroom (but without a mirror in the bathroom which is a bit of a pain) comfortable bed and they supply slippers and a robe. Tv has very little in term of english channels, 1, I think but then you spend such little […] time in your room it didn't matter. There are safes in the rooms for your valuables. Staff at the desk aren't overly helpful and will actually ignore you if you approach the desk and just politely wait until they come to you. The hotel is close to the bund, about 8 minutes walking distance. It's about 15 minutes walk to Nanjing road the shopping district and where you can get the metro from. We walked to the hotel in about 20mins with our backpacks on from the metro station. The hotel will however send you the hotels name and address in chinese figures which will help if you get a taxi as taxi drivers in general won't read english. 더 보기

I just got back from Shanghai and stayed at the hotel for 14days. The rooms were excellent not like everyone says , i.e. small it was 20ft x 15 that's bigger than my bedroom and didnt include the bathroom area. The beds were hard like everyone says but comfortable. Room decor - great, and im a designer so that means alot. The food was a bit oily but not unbearable. Excellent location to stay in Shanghai. Only 3 mins walk to The Bund, 5 mins walk to East Nanjing Road n 10 mins walk to Cheng Huang Miao ( Shanghai City God Temple). Try Shanghai Grandmother Restaurant located near this hotel as it serves delicious Chinese dishes at an affordable price.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient location. Just a short walk to Nanjing Pedestrian Shopping Street and the Bund. Within walking distance of Yu Yuan Gardens. If you don't know Chinese, it's sometimes difficult to get your point across, but the staff is quite friendly and helpful. Have stayed here 3 times and would recommend.

Its very well located, 3minutes walk to the Bund and approximately 10mins walk to the nearest metro station, Nanjing Dong Lu station. The room is very neat, clean and spacious. good location for nightview

Stayed here for 7 nights in early December Great hotel 1 block away from the bund. It is located 3 blocks away from Nanjing Rd East Metro which makes commuting around Shanghai extremely convenient. The hotel itself is tucked inside an alley so is a little hard to find initially. But once you enter the alley it opens up to a large hotel front. Some […] reviewers have said the area is not the best.... with some traffic noise, beggars outside on the street (Fuzhou rd)... well that is simply Shanghai! It is like that everywhere. The area in fact very secure and with the road being one way does not get much traffic at all in the night. Also <100meters from the hotel is a famous Jazz bar playing daily, breakfast is convenient at the multitude of eateries outside and Shanghai bank is opposite for convenient 24hr ATM access. Room service was polite and prompt. I must say if you do not speak English, you may struggle at times with their service desk especially later at night when the available staff to translate diminishes. Did not try to in house diner, it appeared overpriced compared to the eateries around the hotel. Only faults that I can find is the people who stay here are not always of the higher social standard. Often smoking in areas which are forbidden. So if you have a strong dislike of cigarettes look elsewhere. Booking a non smoking room will not help. The walls are a little thing and as many of the rooms share a common atrium noise travels easily. on 3 occasions heard neighbours having loud sex... did not personally bother me. Nice, clean hotel and very convenient location.

The hotel is in good location, and most of the thing is good, but one thing need to improve is the toilet water pressure, too low pressure to use. so not so comfortable to bath.

I stayed there for a total of 2 nights recently. The location of the hotel was great! It is just about 2 minutes walk to the Bund and 5-10 minutes walk to the metro station (Nanjing East Station). The room was clean and comfortable, very worth it for the price that i booked.

Now good, smell dirty, dark room even window side room, staff not very good, business king room does not have window. I didn't lik eit but no choice to change at that time so I stayed 3 nights. But only one thing was good, easy to shopping place and metro line 2. It was only good thing for me.

overall its fine only that the aircon keep having dirt coming out which dirty our bed. location is near bund but nt very convi to find nice food. but manage to find a nice dessert from taiwan 2 street away.

My recent stay there was overall good. The service was poor! No bell boys to help checkin/out baggage> However the housekeeping very gd and efficient!! The pillows too soft better if pillows hard. I spoke with the front office manager re checkout 3pm there didnt allow and extended only 15 minutes! till 215pm!! Fantastic, no frill hotel, clean room, close to the bund and subway. One of the best in terms of location and cleanliness. I have one issue with it. The wall is too thin. I recently stayed at the Baron Business Hotel with my two sons and was generally very happy with the service on offer. Rooms were a good size and there was no problem bringing in an extra bed to accommodate the three of us. We opted for a garden suite which came with a verandah, which was good. We stayed at the Baron after a fortnight touring China for business. I didn't have high expectations give the price and the fast it claimed it was so close to the tourist attraction of the Bund. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff spoke suffice English and check in process was simple and efficient. The room was very large and we had a nice […] view of skyscrapers from our garden terrace. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate so we paid and extra 48RMB (£5 / $8). It was buffet style and had a selection of chinese food, and even toast, bacon and egg; we thought we were dreaming! Very good value. The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk to the Bund and we felt safe once within the hotel grounds and there were guards on the door. The only negative point of the hotel is the area it's in is a favourite for beggers, street sellers and pimps to ply their services at night and they could be a pain, a firm no wsn't always suffice. Great location near the "Bund" in downtown Shangahi, close to train, and beautiful river! Quiet location simple, not too fancy but great price for location!

Our Executive King room was tiny and bare compared to the on-line photos, but the neighborhood location was great. Internet was not free and there was no fax machine as described. After 3 nights in a noisy low-budget hotel I decided to spend my last night in a more expensive place. This hotel is centrally located, just off the Bund, with a number of western (for those who care) restaurant options nearby and also a metro station at not too long a distance. The beds however were just as hard as in the cheap place, and although […] the (economy) room was spacier and in terms of decoration was of a higher class, it didn't offer any additional comfort or better looks than the cheap hotel did. But it was quiet and that was a big bonus. Difficult to find initially this hotel is only two blocks away from the Bund and a short walk from Nangking road and the subway. A perfect location. There were four of us and we were offered a two bedroom suite as an upgrade instead of two Double rooms. Staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was not to our western tastes so we bought juice, fruit […] and toast from the shops 100m away. A good restaurant opposite the shops. Overall great value. 더 보기

Hotel reception and management is still very chinese. The rooms has decent furnishing, however, the bed is hard; u kind of get used to it after the 2nd night. My stay was good mostly contributed by the Sept sunny blue sky and its location and its proximity to Shanghai food.

I found the location of this Hotel quite good and easy to find. Even though I arrived after midnight it did not take long to check in.

The worse Hotel I've stayed in fo years. Mostly because of the negligent treatment from all the staff, but also by the inumerous "agreements" they had with everyone (forcing to take their own taxi for everything to overcharge you, by writing in chinese the addresses of only places they Wanted you to go and not what you had asked for, etc). Actually, […] the hotel only lives of reaping-off people that have lost their planes and as a Motel for all the surrounding prostitution. It's a very unpleasant and unsafe feeling to stay there. To top it off, I asked the manager for late check-out (as everyone only understands a little english until you've completed your check-inn, then forget it), and he was as rude as their taxi mafia (who would be permanently present in their lobby and scream/insult in chinese evertime I passed by as I didn't pick-up their cab), and ended-up forcing me to pay one whole day (at counter price) for 4 hours.
