Great friendly staff beautifull hotel !

All we needed for our stay.

The Estelar hotels always meet expectations. Great location in best part of El Poblado, new, huge rooms, top service, nice breakfast (and even a light dinner buffett). Perfect.

Perfect place for a stay in Medellin; clean, comfortable, great service, fantastic location in the best part of Poblado. Great value for money as well.

As always everything was superb from A to Z. It is not even worth the risk to stay anywhere else just to try somthing different. Used my free night this time !

My visit was very pleasant and the facility clean and very convenient. As a business traveler, however, the public space was not condusive to use for meeting visitors. There is a 'cafeteria' where breakfast and a light supper is served but both at breakfast and supper time, it was filled with families. I stayed 4 nights in Nov., 2011 I stayed four nights in Nov., 2011 in Estelar Blue in the El Poblado section of Medellin and could not have been more pleased with the experience. I had called the hotel directly from the US prior to leaving to arrange a ride to the hotel, and the driver was there waiting when I arrived and was holding a sign with my […] name on it so I found him easily. And I arranged a return trip with no problem and the prices were reasonable. The hotel is very clean, the room was very nice, the staff was sharp, well-dressed, well-groomed and very helpful. I know that two of them spoke English, maybe more. Two meals were included with the room and the food was good. The hair dryer in the room did not work and did not get replaced while I was there, but that is a minor thing. The hotel was quiet and located in a nice area within walking distance of a HUGE gleaming mall with more shops than I have ever seen in a mall. ATMs and restaurants were within about five or six blocks, plus friendly taxi drivers are always available at the hotel. We hired Guillermo to take us on tours to Quetape one day and then to Santa Fe the next, both places were worth the visit, especially when you consider the views of the countryside you get along the way. I recommend this hotel for people with disabilities, accessible shower but it did not have a hand held shower head and It had a 6 in curb in front of the shower but I managed to get over the curb, memory foam mattress, accessible sink, but the room was hard to move around in with my electric wheelchear but overall it served its purpose.

We could not be more satisfied. Very excellent in every way. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had in a hotel. The buffet dinner was not expected but very much enjoyed. The staff was wonderful, helpful, friendly, polite.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area. Two meals a day included, a hearty breakfast and a light dinner. Just perfect and wine is also available. Close to restaurants, casinos and pleasantly quiet. Our patio was delightful and husbands gathered for a bit of Scotch to celebrate the day!

Excellent hotel with great service at an affordable price!!!

This hotel is an excellent choice and is located in Poblado, one of Medellín's most exclusive neighborhoods. The employees are extremely friendly and do everything possible to ensure that one has a pleasant stay. Also, the breakfast options are great and the light dinner offered by the hotel staff leave one full. This place is awesome!!!

Fine hotel with an accommodating staff. The only shortfall is the internet which is erratic and often slow.

Hard to say bad things about this hotel as the service is great, rooms are comfortable, but the internet is poor.All in all a recommended spot but beware if you need good online access

Great hotel with a friendly staff, who go out of their way to assist you with even the smallest request. The housekeeping staff are the real gems at this hotel. This hotel was beautiful and located in an upscale/safe area. The staff treated me like royalty from the minute my taxi pulled up to the hotel . The staff was exceptionally friendly and patient with our Spanish. The rooms were lovely and we enjoyed the complementary meals (breakfast & dinner). The location was perfect for our visit. Clean room, unbelievable buffet breakfast (which was included). Great place, great price - highly recommended!

Hotel is only a few years old. It sits a block up a small hill from the Avenida Poblado, the main road. About a block away is the San Fernando Plaza. A business center with coffee shops and quick lunch places. Three casinos are within 1-3 blocks and inexpensive taxis are a dime a dozen. Parque Lleras which is full of restaurants, shops and nightclubs […] is about a 10 block walk or a very short cab ride. Santa Fe and Oviedo are two large malls located within a few vlocks of the hotel. Carrulla supermarket is also justa few blocks away. The hotel offers a great free breakfast and a free sandwich dinner. A wonderful value given the low daily hotel rate. Staff is super friendly and will accomodate needs quickly. Room is simple, decorated in a modern style. Everything worked well. Nice sized shower. Free wi/fi was nice, signal was good. 더 보기

This hotel is modern and in a great location. The breakfast and light dinners were a great convenience. I got the impression some (definitely not all) of the front desk staff were untrained.

Most ratings explain negative details, not the case at Estelar Blue. As a businees professional considering multiple hotels and many locations, our stay this time was memorable in many aspects. great hotel, very good situated, near parque lleras with its many restaurants. great hote. I´ll really recommend it.

This is an outstanding hotel. The internet is a problem... but, overall great service.

Es importante que en la tarifa del hotel se aclare que no están incluidos el iva ni el impuesto hotelero

Bonito hotel con muy buen desayuno y cena ligera incluida, lo que no es normal en estos hoteles; Básico en sus comodidades para turistas pero suficientes para hospedarse por negocios.

Muy buen hotel, cerca de sitios como centros comerciales, supermercados y restaurantes.. un poco distante del metro pero un buen taxi siempre lo puede acercar. La atención del personal es excelente, la ubicación muy buena tanto por la tranquilidad, como por la cercanìa a centros comerciales y otros sitios de interès, las habitaciones son còmodas, aseadas y con buena iluminación. Como sugerencia considero bueno que cuando se hace la reserva a travès de hoteles.com, dejen claro que los impuestos y gastos que […] se pagan allì NO INCLUYEN 10% de IVA ni el valor del seguro hotelero y que si viajas con niños, el precio tampoco incluye alimentación para éstos y que todo ello son gastos adicionales, que incrementan el valor hasta en un 20%. Muy bien ubicado en la zona del Poblado; a una cuadra de la milla de horo y a 4 de Oviedo y otros sitios de interés. Excelente relación precio beneficio.

Me hubiese gustado que hubiesen dado la cena ligera en Barranquilla, como en el de Medellin

El hotel es nuevo y tiene una decoración muy bonita. Todo está súper correcto. En la hora de la cena te dan como un pequeño refrigerio gratis. El lado negativo es que el hotel no tiene restaurante ni servicio de habitaciones.
