We are a married couple in our 30s with high standards and would definitely recommend this hotel to others, esp English speaking guests. The facilities were very nice, the included breakfast buffet was lovely, and the location of the hotel is perfect for first time visitors to Florence. My favorite parts of this hotel were the bathroom (beautiful modern […] fixtures - I'm always on the hunt for remodeling ideas) and the TV offered English speaking channels which was nice for a bit of news, music, etc. Being the American I am, I like to start each day with a workout, so I was a little bummed they didn't have a fitness facility onsite, but they were happy to try and accommodate in other ways. Great hotel! They upgraded us to a suite upon arrival at no cost, was super nice. Room was awesome, even had a elchim hair dryer! Ladies these are the hair dryers they use in the salons so having one in your room is AMAZING! Sounds silly I know but saves alot of room in bag. Oh and they have a US plug, so you can use your curling iron without having […] an adapter and risking it shorting out. Pay the extra amount for the free mini bar it was nice to have the water and beer each night! Didn't use spa though..would stay there again for sure, it's in a amazing location! 더 보기

I stayed in 4 different hotels on this trip to Italy and I found the Deluxe Room category in this hotel the most comfortable, super clean and spacious. It had the perfect combination of luxury and comforts. Front desk staff are charming and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Spa is very nice. There is some construction on the small street but not disturbing. […] Location is convenient to everything. When everywhere you go you feel that you have to pay for extras in Italy, here they gave you free internet, free breakfast, free access to spa and free minibar! Why don't all hotels just add it to the room rate and stop adding these costs on? Overall, truly a luxury in Florence. 더 보기

Well, the first room we were taken to was directly facing the front of the hotel, which had extremely loud and active construction only a few feet across the alley. Only after threatening to leave were we offered another room. The room had a thermostat, but it doesn't change the temperature. Complaint after complaint, all met with different stories. […] First, we were told it took time to get lower; then, they had to lower it by computer at the front; then that their temperature would not go below 75 degrees, no matter what you set it on.... well that seems about where it was. Considering how hot it was outside, it would have been nice to return to a cold and comfortable room. I don't keep my house that hot at any time (even when I'm NOT home!). Asked for a fan the first two nights and was told they didn't have one. After raising hell the third night, one finally appeared - which would have made the first two nights much more bearable. Allegedly great spa was tiny and only had one or two therapists, depending on the day. Seemed about 100 degrees in the massage room, and the girl was young and relatively inexperienced to say the least. Location was good and dining recommendations were good. 더 보기

Location was perfect, steps from the Uffizi, Duomo, shopping etc. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate some special requests. Especially loved that they include breakfast, mini bar, etc. No "nickeling and diming" as in some other hotels. Would definitely recommend it to others.

We greatly enjoyed our visit. The hotel beds are excellent, the staff were extremely helpful and recommended great restaurants and the location was central. Highly recommended!

The Golden Tower hotel is a Florence gem. Great area, lovely rooms, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, delicious breakfast buffet, and great staff. This hotel met every expection. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is centrally located, pretty, clean and the rooms are lovely. We did have an issue with the hot water... there wasn't any. If i were management of what I wanted to be a top notch hotel and I had water issues I would make my guests aware of the problem and inform them what I was doing about it. Instead they tried to hide the issue until confronted […] with it. After much discussion and complaining they agreed to to credit 20% of the the cost of our stay back to us. They should have been more up front about their issues and treated their paying guests as if they were an important part of the equation. 더 보기

Wonderful experience - staff was helpful with dinner reservations, recommendations. Perfect location- boutique hotel that was gracious and a comfort to come back to each evening

We stayed at the Golden Tower based on reviews we had read. They didn't mention that a "deluxe" room was extremely small--we had to move a chair and tabole to open the refrigerator! There was one small closet and two very tiny drawers, so we nevr unpacked. . The air conditioning was off for the season -- it gets hot on an upper floor in October, and […] the street was very noisy outside. It took multiple requests for a fan. The staff acted like they were a little too "with it" to be helpful. The "spa" is really an indoor pool next door. Overall, verye xpensive for what we got. On the plus side, the place was very clean, the bathroom was very nice and spacious, the breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant staff really hustled. 더 보기

Excellent location very near to everything to see and do in Florence. Very clean rooms with a newly renovated feel. Breakfast was good and service was friendly.

Best of 10 different hotels on our trip. Only others comparable were historical B&B's. New, clean, luxurious, great service, great breakfast, great recommendations, and close to all.

We arrived at 14.15, check in was anythime after 14.00. On arrival we were told that our room was not ready and maybe we should "take a walk". After travelling since 4.30 that morning we really wanted to get into our room and freshen up. Anyway we went to a local cafe for a coffee and bite to eat. We returned at 15.15 and were taken to our room, it […] had 2 single beds, I told them we had booked a double bed and they said they would check. We returned to the reception and one of the female staff members was quite rude and had a bad attitude, a male member of staff was standing there and said nothing, turned out he was the General Manager. I asked him if that was the way staff spoke to guests, he became defensive. So on arrival we were not impressed as it is billed as 5 star. They moved us the next day to a room with a double bed, we just packed and went out and they did the move. Note also not all rooms have a bathtub, for 5 star I dont think thats too good either. The rest of the stay was great, the rest of the staff are fine just this one girl with the bad attitude, we just avoided asking her anything. The hotel is very nice, the staff at breakfast are really nice and its in a great location, very central for all the sights, you can walk everywhere, Florence iitself is fantastic and a joy to visit. Due to the problem on arrival and the initial room if we went back we would probably look for somewhere else. 더 보기

This was a magnificent hotel with attentive and helpful staff. We were in a wonderful part of the city and completely satisfied with our accomodations. We received individual attention and felt completely at home. Words fail in describing how pleased we were with the Golden Tower. Not only will we be recommending friends to the hotel, but we are sure […] to return on future trips Florence. The rooms are elegant, clean and perfectly comfortable. If we have any negative comment it would be that we did not have a view, but everything else about the hotel, from the inclusive breakfast to the turn down service was of such high quality that we could not have been more pleased. 더 보기

Bon emplacement central mais pas bruyant. Service attentionné et gentil. Un seul bémol, la literie un peu dure.

Ottima permanenza in un ambiente elegante ove si è ricevuti e trattati con affabilità e gentilezza. Ubicazione eccezionale,si è vicino a tutti i siti culturali e tutto il resto è a portata di mano. Spero di tornarci presto.

Schönes, sauberes und komfortables Hotel. Nicht zu gross und überschaubar. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Mit dem Auto schwierig zu finden, da in abgesperrter Autozone.

Altamente recomendado, muito bem localizado, quartos ótimos, banheiro de marmore maravillhos.

Tout a été parfait du début du séjour à sa -regrettée- fin. Il faut s'y rendre pour ensuite le décrire avec ses propres mots -chose que je n'arrive pas à faire ;-) Nous y sommes allés pour nos fiançailles et je pense que rares sont lieux plus appropriés. Nous savons où revenir pour notre prochain séjour à Florence. Un souvenir mémorable.
