A fairly basic motel with a tiny lobby/breakfast area but in a very good downtown location close to the famous Peabody Hotel and Beale Street. Also close to Dennys which serves a good breakfast 24/7

Just four blocks from Main St. in downtown Memphis, the hotel is ideally situated for just about anything you'd want to get to on foot. The stadium is right across the street, but not nearly as intrusive as you'd think, and it's only a short walk to Beale St., the Cook Convention Center and the river walks. Omg... This hotel should be condemned! Everything was filthy! The bed spread I took off right away... It had visible stains on it... It should have been burned! I didn't want to take my shoes off-the carpet was black... Ugh! It was terrible ! I was embarrassed because I brought my friends to Memphis & had them stay in this rathole! They couldn't use […] their shower- they had NO phone. We had a phone but u did not want to put it next to your skin... Bathroom floor sticky... Walls splattered with hurricane I'm assuming because the color red wasn't blood... We called for towels they said "if I can find someone to bring them I will" hmmmm well they didn't !! Seriously I am so disappointed in this website for even having this on your option list ! The one & ONLY good thing about it was we could walk back from Beale st every night... Just gross!! walking distance of everything, very safe and secure will return

The administration of the hotel were curt, inattentive and not surprised when we discovered an infestation of bed bugs in our room. They refunded us for one night of our four-night stay only after we showed them our multiple bites and several of the bugs we captured. They did help us find a room in another hotel but do to the conference there were no […] rooms within a reasonable distance of our conference center. We were left to stay in a hotel far from conference center, a disappointment since one of the reasons we chose the Vista Inn was because of its convenient location. Hotel staff were rude and haughty - ironic considering the condition of the hotel. I would strongly discourage anyone from making a reservation at the Vista Inn in Memphis. 더 보기

The place is within walking distance to everything downtown. The room was clean but small. There is some traffic during baseball season as Redbirds Stadium is across the street. The wifi never worked while we were there. For the price it was good. If you need space or wifi, look elsewhere.

I read some of the other comments before my stay and was a bit scared but I was wonderfully surprised upon arrival. The were NO BED BUGS like another customer stated and it was in walking distance from the Fed Ex Forum and Beale Street. There was security on patrole and cameras as well. Very secure. I had read the reviews of this hotel and know the neighborhood wasn't the greatest, but overall it was an enjoyable stay. The location relative to attractions (Beale St., FedEx Forum...) was excellent and the free parking was a great benefit. Price and close to downtown was a plus, but the hotel surroundings and overall experience was a little frightening!

The room was a little small, there were not enough towels for the number of people and breakfast was not available at the earliest specified time so we lost out on that, but overall clean and friendly. The convenient location cannot be matched.

WE WANTED TO CHECK OUT AS SOON AS WE CHECKED IN BUT IT WAS LATE AND IN A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD AND PEOPLE WERE THROWING UP IN THE PARKING LOT NO LIGHT BULBS IN LAMPS NO SHOWER CURTAIN AND BUGS CRAWLING UP THE WALLS AS WELL AS IN THE BEDS WE HAVE TRIED TO GET OUR MONEY BACK BUT HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY SATISFACTION

Stayed for 9 nights; dated motel that's been refurbished. King bed in small room, but comfortable. Analog TV, weak wi-fi, no available outlet by the desk, no easy chair to sit in. However, I was at a long convention and only slept there - great for that need. Also, thin towels and lowest common denominator bars of soap.

acceptable if you can get it cheap. no bugs and nice staff...but very basic amenities...

The proximity to Beale street was great. Easy walk to see the sites. The room was ok except under the bed hasn't been cleaned in a long time. There was a bottle of water a bottle of coke and a sock along with a lot of dust and dirt under the bed. The room had hard wood floors so this was all easy to see.

The staff was very nice, we could park our car there the whole day and she let us check in allready at 10 in the morning without any additional charges. The room was clean and they had a little breakfast offered (coffee, cereal, orange juice, muffins, fruits). The location was perfect to walk to Beale St. and downtown. The hotel is right near Beale Street, that is why we chose it. We were only there for one night, so the hotel provided everything we wanted, cheap beds in walking distance. If you are staying longer than a day, I would reccommend staying somewhere else. If you just need one night, this hotel was good.

Complimentary continental breakfast was almost not existing. Internet acces unstable. Had to ask for toilet paper.

I bet your looking at this review, you think its a great price with a good location. Don't do it, book a downtown classic hotel and pay the extra. The hotel is low grade with poor staff and just far enough from town to make it unsafe. Spend the extra and book smarter.

It was very convient and close to Beale street. Couldn't have ask for a better location or hotel for the price.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the entertainment district, but won't be staying there again. The front desk clerk was very nice... once she showed up at the front desk. I reserved this room with low expectations but the stay was excellent.

Vista was great for the price. Acheap location super close to Beale St. Great for a one night stay if you're planning on staying out on Beale. Would definitely stay here again and recomend it to anyone else. Also the free parking was great and they have security on premises.

We stayed in this motel due to its location to the start and finish of the St. Jude/Memphis marathon. For that, it was perfect...about 150 feet from the start line and just across the street from the finish. Our room was small and very basic, but was clean. The staff was nice and let me have a late check out so that I could shower after the marathon. […] There were some odd features to our room, like a armoire/TV cabinet that was way too big for the room and hooks still on the wall where a mirror once hung. The armoire/TV cabinet blocked the door for the adjoining room and the door to our room disturbingly lacked the latch lock at the top, but we had no problems. We picked this place because we wanted to visit Beale street and enjoy some late night music. Would have been better to find a parking spot and stayed elsewhere. It is about 3 blocks from the street but at night the street gets pretty lonesome and creepy. 1. The place is behind a bus station and an abandoned car garage. 2. Let's face it, the Vista Inn is a very modest hotel with virtually no amenities. However, it was clean and quiet and only a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Peabody Hotel and a 5 minute walk to Beale Street. The staff was very courteous and the price is unbeatable in its area.

This hotel isn't fancy, and though it's clean, is definitely worn. But if you want location and price, as I did, this is your hotel. Super close to the FedEx forum, and I was there for a concert. Can't beat the price, either. That said, I have to add that this is the first place I've stayed in a long time where I wasn't comfortable walking in the room […] in my bare feet. Rooms too small for 2 queen beds. Overnight I was bitten many times by something(s) in the bed causing much discomfort for many days. No coffee in room or in hotel lobby. No cereal available at breakfast because there was no milk.

The location has great access to Beale Street and the city sights. Felt the pricing was quite expensive for the quality of the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was a bust - had to go to Dennys as they had run out at 8:00am???

The location is good if you are going down to Beale Street - not alone - walk smart. You don't have to pay extra to park - which all the other hotels hit you for. Room was reasonably clean but needed a new shower curtain. We had a small issue with a drop of blood on the bathroom floor - but they sent someone right away to sanitize (we had cleaned it […] up). Don't expect to get much rest 3-4 a.m. if it is the weekend as those coming from Beale are coming back to the hotel (not the hotel's fault). The hotel Vista Inn and Suites, in downtown Memphis, TN it was nice bit the service was terrible. They didn't want to bring extra towels, We kept calling and they still didn't bring any, they also had attitudes, that was my first and last stay there.

Only went for one day.Great location kind of high priced at the time and no airport shuttle unless you pay 45dollars extra.But it was ok.

We booked for price and proximity to Beale Street and Downtown. This is an older hotel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was terrific and the pool clean. We traveled with 2 children and would stay here again.

Close to downtown it's a short walk to downtown and sun studios. Right by the greyhound bus station and only a block from Beale St. It's also super close to fedex forum and the ball park. Nice motel. Both the room and the bathroom was clean. Free parking, friedly staff and. The motel was nearby Beale Street, Sun Studio, Peabody, National Civil Rights museum (all walking distance).
