Ninety seconds walk from the train station, which since I was arriving late at night was largely why I chose it. The hotel is clean, modern, and simple, but at the same time rather unfriendly. I prepaid, but a copy of my debit card was demanded 'for the system'. When I asked why, I was told this was in case I wanted to make calls from the room (most […] hotels ask, rather than demand). I have a mobile (doesn't everyone nowadays?) so I refused, but I was clearly expected just to hand it over (too many unexpected credit card holds leaving me unable to access money in the past have made me wary of this). No remote control for the TV, only a sign stating that a ten pound "CASH ONLY" deposit would allow me to borrow one from the front desk. Strange to be trusted with a TV and a kettle, but not a remote control - mistrust and irritating hassles like these are relatively trivial, but can make a hotel stay less pleasant. The hotel is 'uniquely' laid out - the front desk is on the third floor, so everyone entering the hotel has to use the single small lift, and the seventh 'floor' is on the same level, reached by a corridor from the front desk. 더 보기

Very dood value for the price. Hotel clean , staff very friendly and you can leave your bags when checking out and collect them later, would recommend for short stays.

enjoyed last minute booking. Arrived two hours later. supportive reception staff. Next door to railway station. Central to city centre. Quiet and secure, persian, Italian or fish resterauant nearby. Discounted secure carpark nearby.

Very close to railway station which was a plus for me. Otherwise a bit off the main drag. Fine mostly but as I was working late (in theatre) was woken most mornings by the cleaners constantly accessing the supplies cupboard outside my door. The hotel is a decent low-ish budget option if you just need a place to stay. Great location, right opposite the station but without particularly hearing the noise of the station. Loads of places to eat or drink within a few minutes of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and in reasonable decor. You must remember when booking this hotel that it is classified as a 2* - if you remember that, then you wont be disappointed - The cost of the room in a busy, popular city location is amazing ! The hotel itself is basic, but, clean & tidy. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was large with everything you need incl. tea & coffee making facilities […] [I stayed in a 4* the week before where you had to order tea & coffee at an extra cost !] The location is 2nd to none - directly opoosite the train station i.e. a 2 min walk. Greek street [bars & restaurants] is 5 mins walk as are the shops. So, if you dont mind a basic place to rest your head - then the Discovery inn wont let you down. 더 보기

The hotel is in the perfect location for the railway station and the bus service to the airport, we were very impressed with the hotel and the staff were very helpful

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend break and it was perfect for our needs - city centre location right opposite the station, great value room, clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. No complaints and I'd recommend this hotel if you need a good value place to stay in Leeds city centre.

The Discovery Inn was clean. The staff was friendly. There is coffee in the rooms. It's right across from the train station. But, there was nothing overly exciting to call this place great. You also need 10 pound to 'rent' a remote control for your television. Without a remote, you can still turn the tv on and change the volume, but there are no buttons […] to change the channel. I'd probably stay here again if I needed a quick and cheap (and clean!) place to stay in Leeds. 더 보기

the hair dryer was very old and didnt work properly and the bed was very lumpy, but other than that the room was nice and the location was the best thing about the hotel.

For me, the location was perfect for getting into town and to the coach and train station. I wasnt impressed with the room or hotel appearance as it was very basic and in need of a revamp. There could have better pillows in the room as the ones which were supplied were as thick as a tea cosy. I was happy with my stay as i was just looking for somewhere […] to stay after my gig and go home the next day. If i had stayed there longer than 1 night i wouldnt have been impressed. 더 보기

Budget hotel, you get what you pay for! Hotel is clean, staff are friendly. Location is perfect for nightlife and shops plus train station is directly opposite. Carparking isnt great but you are in a city centre so a small sacrafice to pay for such a good location.

The hotel was hard to find and situated on a bust road without parking. The hotel was noisy and not the cleanest I have stayed in. Okay for a night but not for any length of time!

The hotel is okay if you don't mind being woken up at 3 in the morning. The room I had overlooked the station and a number of pubs - so was noisy despite there being double glazing. This Inn is in a good location just in the center of Leeds city. There are plenty of tasty take aways nearby. The room had more than enough clean towels. The shower was great. Our toilet didn't flush too well. We had to lift the handle before pushing it down which isn't much of a complaint. The bathroom door didn't close so we had to stick a towel down […] to keep it closed. Our room was on the 8th floor but the layout of the Inn was strange. We had to take a lift to the reception (3rd floor) and walk across to the ajoining building to take the lift or walk to the 8th floor. For the second year running, on my trip to Leeds I stayed in Discovery Inn on my weekend trip for Slam Dunk Festival and recommended my friends should stay there too. Again found the staff so friendly and helpful and knowing the area a bit more now realised how close it really is to everything. 10 min walk to Headrow (main st) and right opposite the […] train station (handy to tell taxi drivers!), just down the hill from the main shopping district. Check in process was smooth. I expected the hotel to be less than luxurious due to it being in the budget band, however I will never stay here again and feel it is worth paying a little extra for comfort. My room was on the top floor which initially I thought was a good thing, but at 5.30am when people had started showering and the water tank directly […] above the room began emptying and refilling I changed my mind. In addition the room was freezing. It has single glazed old sash windows and a sheet with 1 blanket for bedding. I found an extra blanket but was still very cold. I asked reception for an extra blanket for my second (and final) night, which was supplied, but it was still not a good sleep. Not only was I very tired but so was the room! Holes in the Walls, wood jacking the head board up and it paid not to look to closely at the grime in the corners of the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel. 더 보기

The room was clean and tidy and staff were helpful. We arrived early in the morning and despite not being able to ckeck in till 2.00 we were allowed to leave our bags at reception. The hotel is just a short walk from the bus station (15 mins?) and next to the major shopping district. Helt ok hotell. God beliggenhet, sentralt og vi hadde rom som var vendt inn mot bakgård og det gjorde at det var lite støy om natta. Positivt !

古いホテルに少しだけ手を加えているホテルのようで、設備は古いです。しかし、値段の割に部屋は広かっただです。また、立地が駅前のため夜の比較的遅くまで車の音が五月蠅く感じました。

Dit hotel ligt in het centrum van Leeds, tegenover het station en op 25 minuten van de luchthaven. De kamer was sober en de vloer kraakte enorm maar schoon. De badkamer stelde niet veel voor en er zat schimmel op de muren. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt daarintegen stelde niets voor. Geen eitje , fruit of iets lekker […] vooral op zondag. Afbak croissantje en droog witbrood. Ik zal dit er niet meer bijboeken maar lekker de stad in gaan om te ontbijten. Prima hotel, goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Als we terug gaan naar Leeds zouden we zeker weer dit hotel boeken.

Hótel var miðsvæðis, frábær staðsetning allt í göngu færi. fullt af góðum matsölustöðum, verslunarmiðstöð á bakvið, lestarstöðin hinumegin við götuna. Eina sem var hægt að finna að, var morgunverðurinn mátti vera fjölbreyttari, en kornflekks & ristað brauð með osti eða skinku, t.d. fleirri áleggstegundir

Doskonała lokalizacja, co umożliwia bezproblemowa komunikacje do każdej części Leeds jaki i innych miast Anglii. Zero hałasu pomimo, hucznego życia nocnego anglików. Bezproblemowy, całodobowy dostęp do pokoju.

Er man interesseret i let adgang til de mere spændende ting som DRAG, BØSSEMILJØ, VÆRTSHUSE MED LEVENDE MUSIK, PUBS mv og alt i en tryg og venlig ramme - så er det bestemt et fint sted. - og hotellet var et godt udgangspunkt for at komme ud i det.

очень милый отель!находиться близко от железнодорожного вокзала и от него легко дойти в любую точку города!чисто, уютно и вежливый персонал!

Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit, notre avis n'est peut-être pas si pertinent que cela; mais le voici quand même. L'accueil de l'hôtel se situe au 3e étage, il faut prendre l’ascenseur pour y accéder! Assez étrange tout de même. Les chambres sont assez petites mais confortablement meublées, avec télévision, salle de bain correcte, bouilloire, café […] & thé à disposition, et même un presse-pantalon qui nous a fait bien rire. L'hôtel en lui-même est très bien placé et facile à trouver. Nous y avons passé un séjour court mais agréable. 더 보기

Greit Hotell sentralt i byen med lett tilgang til alt. Mulighet for frokost med ost, syltetøy og corn flakes. Langt fra luksus, men til engelsk å være var det rent og pent. Hyggelig betjening.
