그란리바켄 리조트 (Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center) - 타호 시티

I love the Granlibakken area. As soon as you step out of your car, the wonderful fragrance of the pine tree forest fills your lungs. The room was just what you'd expect from a family, medium luxury place. My son and I enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated the staff's commiment to making our stay the best possible.

Never been to Granlibakken, and I was very pleased with the visit. Great location, amazing breakfast, check-in was quick and painless, and great amenities like outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, and sauna - loved this! Beautiful location in the forest. A few minor drawbacks: noise travels very easily in the lodge rooms. We had noisy neighbors, but […] thankfully they stopped the party around 11pm. The lodge rooms are a little tired looking, but they are clean and comfortable. The hot tub could be hotter (was warm, but not hot!) On the plus side, It's a nice 1.4 mile walk into Tahoe City so you can go out to dinner at night and not worry about driving. While the rooms are not inexpensive, compared to what you get elsewhere in North Tahoe, it's a very good value. Breakfast is delicious with lots to choose from and the sauna and year round outdoor heated pool are even better than the hot tubs! I would definitely come again. 더 보기

We booked this hotel after reading the reviews that it was great for families with young children. However, our stay was not as great as we hoped. Here are what we liked and disliked: Likes: Rustic and somewhat charming looking resort. Complimentary breakfast and wifi, friendly and helpful staff. Dislikes: Quiet but inconvenient location meant that […] if we had to drive out for a meal if we don't want to eat at the resort. Complimentary breakfast has very limited choices the first 3 days we were there. It was definitely NOT as great as some reviewers put it. On our last day there, the breakfast offerings improved a little. This could be because it was a Friday and there were more guests. We were expecting snow but it only snowed briefly one morning. Although this is no fault of the resort, we were still disappointed as one of the key reasons we booked Granlibakken was that it has its own snow play area and ski area. It would have been nice if the owners started making snow earlier as I understand they have their own snow machines. In the end, we drove around looking for snow so that our kids can play and ended up in Squaw Valley and Northstar. Next time, we will stay at Northstar - the resort is more family friendly, has more kids activities and more man-made snow for skiing. 더 보기
