라이나 비치 아파트먼트 (Raina Beach Apartments) - 라로통가

We really enjoyed our stay at the Raina and will definitely recommend it to others. The beach across the road is the best on the island for snorkeling and offers a huge diversity of sea life just minutes away. It is also the starting point for the swim component of the weekly triathalon.

The room had expected amenities (except TV). Nothing flash and staff were nice but sometimes difficult to understand. I wasn't impressed at the time, but after staying afterwards in other styles of accomodation during my holiday, I consider it to be the best accomodation in terms of value for money. We stayed on the first floor. The apartment has everything needed for a self catered beach stay. Plenty of fresh bath and beach towels are provided. Linen is changed on request. The apartment is serviced daily from husband & wife who live upstairs. They were very friendly and helpful. There is no TV and the radio didnt work. The hot water is solar so […] when its cloudy or perhaps other people get to it first there is no hot water. That suited us fine as we like to read and go to the beach.. The apartment is a short walk across the road to a really good beach which is swimmable at high & low tides. It is right on the road which can be very noisy. No Airconditioning and the fan had only a slowish speed. That was fine for July. All the windows and doors are screened. We brought our own snorkels as hireage is $5 per day. The decor is very tired an old & looks to have been built by a DIY individual with a craze for budget tiles. Overall good value for the money. 더 보기

We have just spent 10 days at the Raina Beach Apartments. The location was very good - literally over the road from the beach, near a couple of restaurants, a shop and some lovely gardens that are well worth visiting as they contain a lovely cafe. We were horrified with the cleanliness of the room when we arrived. It was that bad infact that we ended […] up buying bleach and giving the whole place a thorough clean. The kitchen utensils were old and filthy, the cooker was covered in fat and the cutlery tray stank. The apartment was a good size however it needed a complete makeover, they look very old and tired. The pillows smelt so much that we ended up using towels as pillows !! The shower had tiles missing and cracked. The material on the chairs and seating area was filthy. The bins were old and dirty. The fridge top was filthy. This completely turned our holiday from a self catering one into one were we ate out all the time. We have stopped in cleaner and more luxurious backpackers. room needs a bit of maintenance but loved location and layout of room and outside building and grounds excellent. a few new pillows would be of benefit, bit flat. no lights on when we arrived in middle of night, communication breakdown, but bus driver was great help with his torch. staff really friendly and helpful.

Very relaxing place to unwind and rest. Which was greatly needed at that time. Was very quiet too. Well maintained garden, everyone very friendly indeed.

We were extremely pleased with the accomodations and the close proximity to the beach. The large seaview unit was clean and they had daily maid service. It had a full kitchen and two large balconys. One had a view of the sea and the other a view of the incredible lush tropical garden that surrounds the complex. There are a ton of windows and you feel […] like you are in a tropical treehouse. I loved to wake up and have those windows filled with palm trees as my first view. The white sandy beach was just a few steps accross a road that borders the property. A bus runs hourly on the same road and stops right there for your travels. It was great having a kitchen to cook some meals as we were there for two weeks. The owner lives there too and was as gracious as could be. She had tons of information for us and even brought us fresh fruit and flowers from her garden to our room, invited us to spend Christmas with her family celbration as we had no plans and it was just wonderful. This is a good place to stay if you want to sit back, relax and enjoy the Rarotongan way of life. While the roosters were annoying in the morning everything else here had us as relaxed as we could be. Having the room to spread out and having a lovely garden outlook was a contrast from the other places that we had extended family staying at.

What a great place to stay. Surrounded by beautiful island greenery, coconut palms, pawpaw trees and banana trees. Over the road from one of the best swimming beaches and just far enough away from the bigger resorts. The apartments are fully equip with everything you could possible need and very spacious. The day core is quite old and there are some […] areas that could do with some maintenance but it is very easy to look past these things because everything else is so beautiful and it has a great feel about it. The owner June is wonderful she is such a nice lady and if you get the opportunity to spend some time with her she is happy to share her island knowledge. The apartments are within walking distance of some great restaurants and cafes. And there is a bus stop just outside the gate if you don't have a scooter or car to get around We will definitely be returning to these apartments, bringing the family next time and would recommend them to others especially people who want to really experience the rarotongan lifestyle which you don't get in large resorts. 더 보기
