Was upset that they charged extra for parking, and my window (on the 5th floor) was filthy on the outside. I know they can't do much about the surrounding neighborhoods, but they weren't the greatest. But as far as being close to the hospital it was perfect.

The customer service here was very very very on point superb service at its finest. The front desk was friendly and attentive. They knew where to go and what to eat they were familiar with all the surrounding restaurants. I plan to refer all of my colleagues to travel there as well.

My teenage grandsons came early to see Miami before a cruise. The hotel was wonderful; large, updated, clean room, free hot breakfast, pool, work-out room, and restaurant. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Apparently, they'd had a spa at one point, it would have been nice if it had still been there. The only negative was the location, […] but it was a big negative. As other reviewers have stated, there was NO place nearby---no restaurants, no shops, nothing. Even if there had been, the area felt very unsafe and we could not have walked. Only because of the location, I would only recommend it for a brief stay on your way to somewhere else. 더 보기

We stayed here on our way to a cruise because they had free shuttle from the airport and the location was close to the cruise ship terminal. You should know the shuttle only runs once an hour to the airport. There is also limited van service to the pier or you can take a cab for less than $20.

Although the surrounding area was a bit sketchy, our hotel room was gorgeous! A seperate seating area with a comfortable couch and desk was a plus. The fancy bathroom and shower doors were unexpected! The complimentary breakfast was much more than we usually are offered with,delicious waffles and fresh fruit. Everything about the hotel was fine. Rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The service was perfectly acceptable and the restaurant served good food. The only issue is it is situated in a poorer community be we walked all around the neighborhood and everyone we met was pleasant and polite. One of the best values I have found in a hotel.

Great staff--very customer service oriented, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast one of the best--a lot of variety. Bit disappointed in the pool as it was surprisingly small and in the absence of a hot tub.

We stayed here when our mother was in the Jackson Memorial hospital. It's very convenient - a 2" drive. Rooms were big, particularly if you get the 2 queen beds vs. 1 king. Equipped with refrigerator and couch/table, so it was reasonably comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Otherwise, the decor was a bit cheesy, extras were skimpy (plastic cups […] only - no glasses), bathrooms a bit dated. The maids never made up our room, even after we asked them to. Breakfast is provided, and a small bar - I'd say service was so-so, but at least they have those features. Parking $15/night in a convenient attached, gated garage. 더 보기

We were attending a convention at the American Airlines Arena and found this hotel to be convenient, just a short drive. You would not want to walk the neighborhood either day or night. We stayed there for 4 nights & only received housekeeping service on the first day. I reported this to the front desk after returning from our meetings on the 2nd day […] and was told I must have had the "Do not disturb" notice on the door. (the notice was in the room on the desk). I asked for fresh towels, which was brought, but they did not remove the soiled towels. On the 3rd day of no housekeeping service, again I was told I must have had the "Do not disturb" notice on the door. Seems this must be their standard answer. Again I requested fresh towels. They brought the towels AND I had to ask them to remove the trash & towels. On the 4th day on no housekeeping service, I never bothered to call down to the front desk. At 1:15am on the 5th morning (our check-out date), we were startled by a blaring alarm in the room, & more alarms & flashing lights in the hallway. Hotel guests had to evacuate the hotel. Later we discovered that there was an electrical short in a vending machine in the lobby area. There was absolutely no hotel staff guidance on advising guests where to go as we exited the hotel, when to return or how to get back to our rooms (as you can imagine, the 2 elevators were swamped. We finally had to ask a hotel staff member to show us where the stairway was to walk up to our rooms. The hotel staff never showed any concern for their guests. Needless to say, this was the first and last time we stay at this hotel or with this hotel chain again. 더 보기

Having been to Miami three times in 2011, we were not satisfied with the location. When we went for a stroll of the area we did not feel totally safe. There was no restaurant close by. It was a good thing we have family in Miami. We only stayed at a hotel because we were cruising, and didn't want to bother there work schedule on Monday. I didnt like the fact that they charged for parking when the website ststed that they had free parking. when asked about this i was told it was because I booked on Hotels.com and that they had different information that may not have been accurate.

The room was super nice it had a king sized bed with a couch and nice clean bathroom. I was very impressed with the size and clealiness of the room. The hotel had very good food I had a salad that was fairly healthy and a mojjito which I was allowed to take to my room. Overall great service for the price I would highly recommend.

Stay was good. Parking is not free. Good Location, walk to Bascom Palmer and UM Medical center. Surrounding neighborhood is not very nice and can be difficult to navigate in/out of area.

Over all very good hotel. New hotel and very well decorated. Very satisfied. The only downside is that it is a little bit far from downtown (15$ cab ride) but would stil lrecommand it.

Only problem is Parking was prepaid. Not Free and not covinent to walk outside. Rahter than was great free breakfast, Microwave and Refg. available. Very expensive daily parking.

The room was fantastic and great value for the price. However, the hotel is in an area with a lot of poverty and the multi-storey hotel is a stark contrast to the surrounding houses. This isn't a problem in itself and the hotel is secure, but don't expect to stay here and be able to go out walking in the neighbourhood.

There are not enough words to describe all the good things about the hotel. Not only do they have the most comfortable beds in the world, but fantastic sheets/bedding, great space in the room and bathroom, awesome flat screen TV, Wifi, excellent food especially the hot breakfast. The SpringHill Suites was very clean and close to our destination. The shuttle drivers were the best people and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great find during the Art Basel week in Miami. Only a few miles from the main show and a few minutes from all the satellite shows. Very clean, modern rooms with a cool vibe in the decor. The neighborhood is pretty desolate but we used the hotel to unwind after a hectic day at the fairs. We plan to return for the fair next year and will definately […] stay here. 더 보기

Inside of hotel was beautiful, rooms were beyond expectation

This is the best place to stay if you need to go to the UM health campus. Generally clean and well maintained. Urban roosters in the adjacent neighborhood provided the wake-up call. Watch out for surrounding neighborhood when navigating there with the GPS. From I-95 S, take first exit off Dolphin Expressway and then turn left at bottom of ramp. The hotel is nice starting inside the front door, but the surrounding neighborhood is not very nice, and there is no easy way to even walk to a market. Also, the drive to the airport was at least 15 minutes, and not at all convenient to the airport at all. Not sure why the claim that. Room was excellent!

We needed an over night to be sure we were in Miami when our cruise sailed the next day . Close to the airport and the low dollar ride to the cruise line made this location ideal.

À nice hotel of High standard. The room was big and well organized. I would prefere à lower bed in the acessible room. But otherwise it was perfect.

Loved the hotel. Very close to Bayside and South Beach. You also have the Medical District neary by. The hotel staff and services were outstanding. The in-house restaurant was wonderful! I have a lovely time there and would love to visit again... Thanks!!

Rooms were so clean, neat, comfy and spacious. Staffs were attentive and friendly. parking was 15 bucks, else no cons for this hotel. It was worth the money. I would highly recommend it for my friends.

Very convenient to UM medical campus, was within easy walking distance. Secure parking was great given the surrounding neighborhood. Overall clean and friendly. Contential Breakfast was good. Parking was $15 per day however.

near the Miami airport and a great location for site-seeing around greater Miami. Comfortable & spacious room, very clean, gated parking, includes breakfast. Only drawback was that the pool area looked & felt like an afterthought--too small and bare bones. Other than that, we loved it and will try more of the Spring Hill Suites!

pital. Our stay at your hotel could not have been better. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport. The suite was great. Very clean, modern (very European styled) and comfortable. Although not an actual restaurant, they offer appetizers, salads and very filling and fresh sandwiches […] at a reasonable price. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Their shuttle took us to the VA Hospital in the mornning and then back to the airport that afternoon. Other than the neighborhood being a little undesirable, I can not say enough good things about our stay. Price was very comperable to hotels in the area. Would have preferred closer to the beach, but overall outstanding hotel ith very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to my friends

Perfect for getting to the Port Of Miami for a cruise. Breakfast was good.

Good location people friendly and very helpful staff.

I had a great time there. It was extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Everything seemed new and up to date. VERY CLEAN. The only drawback was the neighborhood surrounding the hotel but since I had a car it wasn't too bad. I only had to walk through the bad area once and since I was with a large group of people it wasn't that bad.
