Although not "on the riverwalk", it was only a short walk and was convenient to everything around the Alamo. Very clean and staff was very courteous & helpful. Bed was comfortable, TV worked good and shower had plenty of hot water Took the train to San Antonio so we didn't have to worry about parking but hotel had valet parking for those who needed […] it. Good place to stay but they charge nearly $25 for parking, Which I did not expect,

This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful. We needed 2 rooms and I asked for them to be near each other. The staff was able to put us next door to each other which was so helpful. Check in was quick. Valet parking is the only option, but this was fine for they valet service was very quick and helpful. I was very pleased with the […] staff hotel. The only minor problem was in the food service. The food was as to be expected but staff wasn't available when there was a need. For example, the coffee canister was empty and there was no one visible to alert. Other than that our stay was wonderful. We'll be back next time we're in San Antonio! 더 보기

Hotel was wonderful. Arrived several hours before I was schedule to arrive, front desk clerk was great checked for availability of room. I checked in within minutes. Room was cozy, I felt like I was in an apartment. Room had small kitchen with all the amenities that I needed.

I will definitely recommend this hotel. My only complaint was the parking. If there was an option other than valet, I wasn't aware...and 2 nights with 2 cars added an extra $100 to the bill.

My only major issue with this reservation was that, the hotel itself does not have its own parking area...yes the listing does state Valet service...as an ammenity...however it doesnt state that there is no adjacent parking area...you are pretty much stuck with hauling your luggage from a block or more away from a questionable downtown parking lot, […] who knows if your car will be broken into...or you have to pay the 25 bucks for the valet.... who says your car is placed in 1 of 3 different parking garages down the street. 더 보기

We stayed in this hotel for four days and were happy with our choice. It is one block to the Riverwalk and one block to the Alamo. The valet parking is expensive, but the service was better than we had expected. We saved a few dollars by bringing food and cooking some meals in the room. The only complaints we had were that the housekeeping came too […] early and they ran low on food at breakfast on one of the days (Saturday). I reservered this hotel thru Hotels.com and was expecting a suite with two queen size beds and a pull out couch. The hotel didn't have what I had reserved. I then asked for a roll bed which I was told that they had, but was denied this also. Door to bath room opened up on anyone using the sink, bad placement.

Location was great. One block to the Alamo, just a couple blocks to The River Walk. Fitness room had more to offer than I thought it would. Our room had everything - kitchen even had dishwasher. Very modern decor. Valet parking was smooth & efficient - had car in 5 mins upon request.

Just minuts away from the riverwalk, downtown area. Exelent price relation. Premium service.

it was really nice and very comfortable even though my room was underground and the kids said some other children were looking through our window from the pool area. Other than that I really liked the hotel. What I did not like was that when I left I easily got lost and that was not comfortable no one knew directions very well. I enjoyed our stay but I have some comments the pool is very small and some of the guest use it as a smoking area a big turn off for somebody that doesn't smoke it's still a good hotel if you don't care about the pool

The hotel was beautiful, very modern. Everything you need is in the room. The staff was friendly and everything you need is within walking distance. I was very impressed with my stay.

This hotel's location was fantastic, right on the River Walk and very close to the Alamo. The Kid's Museum was just down the street. The valet parking, although costly, was a tremendous asset. The pool was a large disappointment. Very tiny!!

Now I know the numbers above dont exactly add up but I'll explain. The hotel itself is in downtown thus close to all area activities. The hotel is nice, clean and what can be expected from Marriott property. I actually think the pricing of the hotel is actually fair BUT...what is not clearly explained, or at least was not explained to me, is that you […] must pay extra for parking. This makes the nightly rate not so reasonable!!! In fact, almost grossly over priced. The valet parking attendants are very professional and do respect your property. Additionally, with out doubt, if you are going to stay at this hotel and are going to use your vehicle daily, as I did, it is the most cost effective way to go. As my number ratings show, I was not happy with the additional expense of parking....thus my "overall" rating is lower than the ratings numbers should indicate. 더 보기

They tried to stick me in the "smoking pit" on the second floor. They claimed to "not know it was smelly". However, the cleaning staff said they had tried to air it out for two days! Although this hotel isn't right on the river walk it's literally 2 minutes away, if that! The staff was very friendly and the hotel is just awesome. The breakfast in the morning is good and free!!!! Also, this hotel is right by everything, the alamo, the mall, the riverwalk. It's just awesome. This has been by far the best hotel I have stayed at. All staff was friendly and ready to help in anything, rooms were clean and spacious, my 7 yr old loved the pool, the breakfast is unbelievable, and the location was great. We are definitly going to stay there everytime we are in San Antonio!!

Great value! Within blocks of the Riverwalk, Alamo, and downtown attractions. Hotel staff was very accomodating. Easy access to highways for outlying attractions. Only bummer was the size of the swimming pool, extremely small!

I have stayed in this hotels my last two times in visiting San Antonio and I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to downtown and the riverwalk. Not to mention some very good restaurants are within walking distance also. The only thing I didnt like about the hotel room itself was that the bathroom door […] is a sliding door, you can hear everything in the bed, which is right next to the door. Best hotel near the main shops. Spotless, very clean and comfortable. Overall, a very great experience and the price was amazing for that location.

our car stayed parked the whole trip, your close to the mail, alamo, river walk. the room was great, nice bed, tv, and big shower. it was a good trip cant wait to go back.

the staff was rude and we would ask for simple things and they would talk down to us. it was a gorgeous hotel and great location, but the only polite person was the velet guys.

This hotel was one of the best stays that I have had. I travel a fair amount both for business (6-8 4-5 day meetings per year) and for pleasure (both to high end places with just my wife and simpler family oriented places with my kids). Room space is large square divided into perfect quartile squares: small kitchenette, bed, desk/reading chair AND shower/bathroom. Bed comfortable with nice linen. Hotel is 2 blocks from riverwalk. Riverwalk is full of slow moving tourists but the street has higher index of gansta like slugs. Have read other critiques in this column and they are legit and accurate but minor issues. I will selectively look to stay here as my preferred place in San Antonio. Only improvement I could recommend to management would be healthier and wider food options in the little store downstairs (does not reflect sophistication of the clientele for the hotel). 더 보기

This hotel has access to everything one would want to see or do in San Antonio, i.e., the Alamo, River Walk, River Center Mall, Hemisfair Grounds, San Fernando Cathedral, Starbucks(!) were all within easy walking distances. The complimentary breakfast helped our budget, and the Happy Hour Monday through Thursday was a nice surprise. We were a bit disappointed […] in the pool: it was in the middle of the building at the lowest level, so sunlight didn't reach it, and it was quite small. The room was great: having a full kitchen was a real bonus. The A/C was a bit challenging: it was either off and hot, or on and blasting, no in-between. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the personnel was knowledgeable about the area, especially one valet, who always greeted us with a big smile. I was really impressed with the contemporary studio design of the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and many great downtown San Antonio restaurants. The staff was friendly as well.

Das Hotel liegt wirklich um die Ecke zu Alamo und Riverwalk. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gross und komfortabel. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr bemueht. Weitere Vorteile: Tee- und Kaffeeservice 24h, Internet- und Druckenmoeglichkeit 24h, Innenpool (allerdings klein).
