My stay was excellent. Customer service was excellent. The free breakfast was great. I loved that they had tea and coffee available 24/7.

Great hotel - warm, friendly staff!

Very clean room and public space. Friendly staff. Easy, safe walk from hotel to the Convention Center and Science Center. Quiet - easy to sleep here. I would book at this Hampton again without hesitation.

We stayed there for the ease of commute to a dr appt at Children's Hospital. My 3 yr old son loves to swim so an indoor pool was a must. They did have quite a large pool but the water was freezing, my little guy didn't really swim at all whereas when we'd stayed at another place he was in the pool for longer than 3 hrs. And if you have to use the bathroom, […] you actually have to leave the pool room to use it. We got a king sized bed that left us with aches for 2 days and found out that if you have a room with a king sized bed you can't have a tub in your room. Really? My 3 yr old doesn't much like showers lol. The room was large, comfy and clean to be fair. But later that evening when we wanted food, we asked the front desk for suggestions since they do not have their own restaurant. Basically at 10pm I had to drive around downtown Hartford looking for food. Not good or safe, but we did find a great pizza/Italian rest. named Pitas that were open till midnight on a Sunday night. They did have hot tea, hit chocolate and coffee available all hrs as well as a pretty good hot breakfast in the am. Would I ever return? No it was not worth the price and did not have the amenities that are expected for a night away for a small family awaiting a nerve wracking procedure the next morning. Then I found extra charges on my credit card that had to be dealt with by calling. Inconvenient and downright sneaky!! Next door is the plaza Hartford and they are much better. 더 보기

This was a perfect stay for me which was very close to convention center. Could walk but suggest to drive or get a taxi. Room was spotless and roomy. Bathroom was very large with a great shower/dual sprays. Complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby at night and GREAT variety morning breakfast. The convenient location of this hotel was why we chose it the first time. But the reason we stayed a second and have a third visit booked is the hotels cleanliness and comfort and friendliness of the staff. Comparatively its a great deal.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel is both clean and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and the employees were polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient, clean, and comfortable.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and confortable. The staff is very helpful, and breakfast is good. Cons: the pool water temperature was too cold.

Our room was great and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was very close to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again

for me, this was a pleasure staying at this hotel. very good service, rooms very clean, beds were extremely clean. the person attending the counter was very friendly, I arrived 50 minutes early and she let me go to my room. I said that there was no need to wait because my room was ready. very good I recommend it

My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The cleanliness of the hotel was just marvelous and the staff was very nice!! I will definitely be back to stay at this hotel when I'm in the area. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. And the room was so nice.

This was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Because we booked a couple weeks ahead the rates were very good . The continental breakfast was a real breakfast with many choices.

We enjoyed this hotel for a weekend get away. There is a small but good amount of tourist sightseeing in the surrounding areas, including two restaurants from man vs food. (always a plus) The pool is small but indoor and heated. The continental breakfast was great! Great variety and quality of food!

Beautiful, Inexpensive Room, and located just a mile from the CT Convention Center. Continental breakfast with Starbuck's coffee in the morning and I believe there is a swimming pool, but we didn't have time to take advantage. Overall great stay!

For the price the hotel was more than I was expecting. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. I would not hesitate to choose this hotel again for future visits.

I went away for a couple days to relax...Great Place! Free Ice skating around the corner. Huge Mall and store only a 10 min drive away. Pool was nice. Cleaning lady kept bothering at early hours...But other than that it was very nice.

This hotel is of a high quality and we experienced very helpful and interested staff. Good breakfast to start the day right. THE ONLY THING TO BE WARY OF IS THE MAP ATTACHED TO THE SITE WHEN COMING FROM THE SOUTH. YOU NEED TO EXIT INTERSTATE EARLIER THAN YOU THINK TO CROSS THE RIVER. Nice & clean - that is what matters. Everything else is just gravy on top.

We stayed 1 night and found the hotel comfortable. The staff were helpful. Two people seemed to be running the whole place during the first day. The breakfast quite good. Our room was upgraded from the king size we had reserved because they did not have a king with sofa-bed. Rate a little high, I felt.

My daughter and I were in town for a sports tournament at Trinity college. The hampton inn was relatively close and much cheaper than many of the competitors. It was a decent sized room and bathroom and I like that they clean the bedspreads for every customer. The hotel pool was nice and providing breakfast was wonderful. The bedding was terrible. Lumpy and a little unclean looking. My wife woke up with bites. I didn't, but overall it was an unpleasant experience.

Great Location handy to the city. Fairly new hotel and everything was clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and no fee for parking the car out front of the hotel.

Everything was clean and new in the hotel. Nice hot breakfast in the morning. I don't remember staying somewhere where we felt like we got such a good value. Highly recommend!

I read the reviews prior to booking and they were bang on. Very clean. Staff is very nice, friendly but not the most knowledgeable - front desk didn't know if local calls were free and recommendations for dining were a list on a paper. Perhaps I landed on the new guy. The breakfast buffet is great AND they still had food coming at 10am when it finishes. […] If you need any info - ask Wayne the do-everything guy. The price was great and the location is good too. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was with the breakfast buffet on Saturday. There was hardly any food left when we got there at 9:20 and the server told a guest that "she wasn't making any more food". At 9:58, she closed all of the doors. There were several people there who didn't get any food. I stay at Hampton Inns all the time […] and have never had a problem like this in any of them. I read the reviews of others before booking a room here, and I made a great choice. No complaints. Staff was friendly, everything was clean, and the breakfast was great.

It's not the Four Seasons or the Intercontinental, but the Hampton Inn & Suites is a great value. Clean rooms, good staff, free wi-fi and breakfast.

We had a great experience staying at this Hampton Inn. It is 5 minutes from the capitol area, but priced like a commuter inn. The hotel is relatively new, clean, well staffed. The breakfast that the hotel offered was very good . Would stay again at this hotel.

It was a dark and stormy night in October with over 10 inches of snow and power out all over CT. We had planned a trip from MI to visit our kids and grandkids and luckily booked a room in advance. Even with all the challenges and a completely booked hotel our stay was awesome! We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast as well as our clean room.
