더 로열 출란 콸라룸푸르 (The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur) - 콸라룸푸르

부킷빈탕과 한블록 떨어져있어 조용하면서도 호텔 뒷쪽 지름길을 통해 도로만 건너면 파빌리온이라 지내기 좋았어요. 그리고 KLCC공원과 잘란알로르도 도보 10~15분정도의 거리예요. 특별히 걷기 싫어하거나 한낮에 찌는 더위만 아니라면 충분히 걸어다닐 수 있는 거립니다. 호텔은 전반적으로 괜찮았어요. 방도 깔끔하고 고층건물이 아니라 뷰가 특별할건 없었지만 나쁘지도 않습니다. 조식은 가짓수수에 비해 특별히 먹을건 없어요. 하지만 지은지 얼마안되 비교적 깔끔하고 수영장도 괜찮고 오전 10시에 갔더니 얼리체크인도 해주고 다음에도 여기서 묵을생각입니다.

- 쇼핑중심지와 인접해 있으나 조용한 최적의 위치 - 조식이 훌륭함 - 객실 훌륭함 - 객실내 유선랜 있음 - 로비의 무선랜이 객실까지 유효함 - 대중교통(모노레일)과 먼곳에 있으나 KL에선 주로 택시를 이용하게 되므로 단점은 아님 - 초콜렛 팩토리, 전통 민예품 전시장과 인접함

장점 : 호텔규모가 크고, 파빌리온에서 가깝다. 호텔뒷문으로 나가면 3분거리. 친절하고 깨끗하다. 수영장도 크진않지만 깨끗하고 애들놀기 좋음. 단점 : 아침뷔페가 크고 많기는 하지만, 한국사람 입맛에 맞는 음식은 별로 없는 편.

새로 생겨 깨끗하고 방과 화장실도 넓고 부킷반탕 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리의 조용하고 럭셔리한 호텔입니다. 중앙 로비 바는 저녁에 가수들이 라이브 공연도 하고요. 아침 조식뷔페도 월드뷔페로 큽니다. 가운데 홀에서는 매일밤 연회가 열리는데 제가 숙박한 금토일 내내 동창회, 기업인의 밤, 결혼식이 열렸습니다. 홀을 바라보고 있는 룸에 숙박하시면 밤에 시끄럽습니다. 저희 방이 그랬는데 특히 다른 행사들은 10시정도에 끝났지만 결혼식은 11시가 넘도록 앰프소리가 너무 커서 발코니를 통해서 들려오는 소리가 잠을 방해하더군요. 호텔시설은 훌륭하지만 체킨 직원들의 서비스 마인드가 부족해보입니다.

Our stay was all too short, but quite an experience for our family. We arrived before 9am prepared to drop our bags and explore KL, but our two rooms were made available right away. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were amazing. So very helpful and courteous at all times. The rooms were exquisite and beautifully presented. The pool area, gym were […] very pleasant, as were the restaurants and bar areas. Because we had a late evening departure, I arranged for a late checkout for one of the rooms, and this was easily accommodated - 2:30pm! After checking out, we had our luggage stored by the extremely helpful concierge, and left for the final exploration. Unfortunately during our return, we were drenched by a sudden torrential downpour. The hotel staff again were very accommodating, providing us with towels and facilities to enable us to change into dry clothes. This was a very positive experience for us and we would always highly recommend the Royale Chulan based on this experience. 더 보기

This hotel is one of the best 5 star hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices. The hotel is in walking distance to all shopping malls. Booking in and out was very easy and the staff were excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

Stunning hotel excellent in nearly every area except the WiFi, it is useless only really works in the lobby., a real pain and so easy to fix.

We stayed at the Royal Chulan from the 1st March till the 4th March 2012 and couldn't have been happy with our stay. The hotel was architectually impressive and beautifully maintained. When we checked in our room was complimentarily upgraded and proved to be spacious with all the expected amenities. Our booking also included breakfast which was always […] well stocked with a staggering variety available. The hotel is located within a 2 minute walk of a major shopping strip which not only made getting around incredibly easy and convenient but also ideal on such a short trip. The only small annoyance we had was that our room was slightly warm which was resolved by leaving one of our room cards in the activation slot at all times and turning the airconditioner down to 15 degrees and on high. Overall we couldn't have been happier with our stay and given how often we travel we will definately be staying at the Royal Chulan again. 더 보기

The royale chulan in KL malaysia - nearby famous twin towers.

This hotel is a gem in KL with typically very reasonable rates. The rooms are very quiet, cool and many have balconies overlooking the courtyard/pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Love this place!

The only thing that I am not so happy with is the toilet floor is too slippy as my daughter was fallen down when she entered first time. Overall is pretty good hotel.

It is a 5 star hotel but the staff need much more training in order to be regarded as a number one hotel. I had for instance a towel lying on my floor when I was back later during one day. A 5 start hotel always need to look into all details and never forget a towel on the floor. Just an example.

Great location and value. Service was good too. Beds can be improved but rooms are adequate size.

I stayed at Royal Chulan Hotel in Dec 2011. Fall in love with the hotel on my 1st stay as it is very clean and comfortable. Its only 5 mins walk to the popular shopping mall Pavilion and KLCC. The buffet breakfast served was marvelous as it has wide spread of food served. Would love to come back and stay in this hotel again for another vacation,

somewhat old hotel/furniture etc no hotel assistance as to a possible hotel/airport transfer, should at least have mentioned that you can take a taxi from hotel to express station and express train to airport, taxi from hotel to airport too much traffic , too expensive, hotel buffet breakfast wonderfull

Excellent Hotel, VERY NEAR TO BUKIT BINTANG, PLACE FULL OF MALLS AND EATING JOINTS LIKE - Mc Dowells, KFC, A&W. Also there is a Indian Restraunt namely Spice Garden just behind the Hotel which serves excellent indian food. Petronas Towers / K.L Tower are very near to the Hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody, it is a very nice hotel and the staff is excellent, very corteous and helpful. The location is also excellent, nearby all main attractions.

The receptionist is poorly trained. No eye contact but showing long face.Gave room that was not ready without apologies. Answered mostly with 'no' and provided no direction. Check-in of 2 rooms took more than 40 minutes. Wondering if non-Malay visitors are being discriminated. With the same price, there are many better options.

Taxis was difficult to find outside the lobby. The hotel is close to shopping areas and sight seeing spots.

Toooo good Highly recommended

I stayed in Royale Chulan for three nights last week, the overall feeling is very good. The condition of the hotel, staff work there are nice and helpful. Surrounding environment is relaxing and quite. The only complain is the breakfast. in the first morning, I had to line up for 20 minutes for a table, but I saw a lot of table unclean after people […] left. It is unacceptable. Maybe it is due to the long weekend that a lot of people live in this hotel, but I think the real problem is management skill and lack of staff. If staff there have walkie-talkie to communicate with, they can save a lot of time. No bath tub in the room is another disappointment. 더 보기

This hotel is very nice, room charge and breakfast is very good. also location is very neer in Pavillion and KLCC.

The amenities were good and the pool and gymnasium functional. The room also look very nice. But what went wrong with building this?! Everything was cracked and winded, bent and untidyli done. Especially the bathroom. When using the very fancy shower the water spread over the entire bathroom floor. The separate bathtub (nice idea) had no working cold […] water (bad execution)! It is very hard to take a walk from the hotel - the walkways are not really built (yet?). The personnel never smile. And they believe that it is a non-smoking area as long as the smoke is blown away from you with fans. The breakfast was good and had many choices. 더 보기

Never heard so much noise in a 5-Star hotel; pneumatic drills operating through the night! I am a heavy sleeper but was awoken at 02:00 by the noise, so phoned to complain, and it stopped. The hotel was within easy walking distance of Twin Towers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast choice was extensive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

There were multiple problems during our stay, but the hotel did fix them promptly. The shower could not accomadate more than one short shower, as it would leak out onto the bathroom floor. Not sure if the drain was clogged or if it was a matter of not having adequate tile placing. It was exceptionally overpriced to have a few pieces of laundry done, […] but they did return them quickly. The spa was amazing and a wonderful experience. Booked deluxe double but were upgraded to a suite which was amazing. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Huge variety at breakfast.

The hotel provides outstanding service, including free wi-fi. Breakfast buffet is very good. Location is just a few minutes walk from the Pavillion shopping mall (via a cut past the rear of the hotel) which has a huge range of budget dining on the lower floor to complement the up market dining in the hotel. It is close to shopping centres which makes is ideal interms of location. Royal Chulan was excellent in that the rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. Our family of 4 stayed in this hotel twice, for three nights each time. The rooms (adjoining) were spacious, beautifully decorated, with large bathrooms. The buffet breakfast is definitely worth it, do not miss it. The staff are very helpful, warm and friendly. It is about a 10 minute walk to Pavilion, a nearby mall, and 15 minutes walk to Bukit Bintang. […] We quickly figured out that we could get to Bukit Bintang more easily by going through Pavilion as there is some construction on the road. The hotel is in a quiet area and yet close to many attractions. We have just returned from our holiday in Malaysia where we stayed at The Royal Chulan. This Hotel can be summed up in one word, "magnificent" From our arrival, we were very impressed by the grandeur of the hotel and the staff were simply the best we have ever encountered anywhere in the world! My wife & I had a lovely room on the 3rd floor which was […] perfectly suited for our needs. Hotel Amenities - A fantastic Pool & Gym on the 2nd floor. The pool area has a great bar area and offers a barbecue restaurant meal poolside in the evenings. The hotel offers 4 themed restaurants, but our personal favourite was the "Warisan" buffet on the ground floor. It basically runs 24hrs a day & offers a very large menu that caters to all tastes! The staff in the restaurants were "1st Class" in all aspects and the service was faultless. ALL GUESTS, make sure you include the Buffet Breakfast in your room booking, as this was sumptuous! In the evenings the hotel has a very pleasant jazz band playing in the Cafe in the front entrance area. There is a very nice Bar on the ground floor that we went to in the evenings for a quiet drink. The hotel also has a privately owned taxi company onsite so there are hassles getting a taxi and the vehicles are immaculate and the drivers are polite. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay in KL and give it 10/10 !!!! This is a very well maintained hotel in a very convenient location--5 min walk to the Pavillion shopping center and Bukit Bintang. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. It is a 5 star hotel by international standards but falls a little behind the leaders of the category (ie Shangri-La or the Ritz). Areas they could improve: […] the beds are not very comfortable (hard); the service -although good for Asia--gets often confused and is not fully coordinated/professional especially at the front door (4 different people trying to get the luggage in a cab); the lobby sometimes gets very crowded; and the breakfast buffet (although extensive in covering different cuisines), could use more and better quality western choices (pastries were stale both days I tried them).
