Though far from the station, it was reasonable price for staying. The staff was kind.

Was a bit further from main downtown than we had thought but bus access was great. Fairly easy bus and train transport to the mountains, but not close enough if you are skiing. About a 10 minute walk to downtown so luggage had to be transported on bus or trolly. Nice restaurant at the location site for supper, also served a fairly generous breakfast. […] Did not have hot food on breakfast mene except boiled eggs, but had a good selection for a cold menu, including cheeses and cold meats. Very satisfied with the friendly staff and clean conditions. Felt like we were staying in a Swiss family's home! Great breakfast spread and convenient location, within walking distance from downtown and both train stations. Looking forward to staying there again. . . . .

Although Hirschen wasn't near Interlaken Ost station, there are buses and taxis that will take you here. The buses, as with everything else in Switzerland, are really reliable. So after some initial hiccups, transportation was a breeze. The hotel is located in a traditional wooden house, and was filled with rustic Alpine charm. Our room was large, […] clean, comfortable, and had a view. The buffet breakfast offered a really excellent selection of bread, cheeses, hams, eggs, cereals, muesli, juice, and fruits. The staff were sparse though, as they had to run both the downstairs restaurant and the hotel, but they were friendly. A beautiful old building but well maintained, welcoming, warm, authentic & set and beautiful surroundings. Handy for ski resorts in the winter, and for sightseeing in the summer. With its squeaky floorboards, it feels like home, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, and speak at least 3 languages. For people that do not mind to walk 5 -7 minutes to the city or train station, I think the Hotel is a great deal and good location. I have heard good comments about the restaurant as well although I did not eat there. I will surely go back. The portuguese manager was great and very helpful.

Clean, wonderful people, chance of a lifetime

A typical Swiss "farmhouse/guesthouse". Comfortable and the staff were friendly. Not air-conditioned. Only real complaint would be that the ground floor ceiling is very low. At 5'9"", I don't consider myself big but I would have hit my head against one of the beams in the breakfast room if I had not ducked. The hotel is about 20 mins walk from Interlaken Ost and less than 10 mins walk to the main street where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel has a nice restaurant and there's a fantastic Thai takeaway just around the corner. The hotel was extremely good value, considering how expensive the Interlaken area is (similar to the rest of Switzerland). […] Hotel breakfast was very good and coffee was surprisingly good. My only complain was that my single room had a fairly soft bed - it is not uncomfortable, just too soft for my taste. Free Wifi is included. A little away from the main shopping area. Very noisy street corner.. since no a/c we had to keep our windows open and due to traffic noise had poor sleep.. quaint A-frame with small shower and bath.. overall very authentic old world.. but very over-priced (due to peak vacation season probably). I had a very nice stay at the hotel which was very clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good with pleantly of selection and fresh. The restraunt in the hotel for an evening meal was outstanding.

We had a view of a snow topped mountain, air was so clean and fresh. The room had just been renovated and they were renovating others in the hotel but they stopped the noise early. The breakfast was lovely and ample. The hostess was very helpful and gave us great help with directions etc. The hotel was was within easy reach of the train stations as […] buses went past the door. So you could go to Interlakken East or West. No lift but only two flight of stairs. Would stay there again 더 보기

greit hotell med en veldig god frokost. Naturen rundt er fantastisk, og luften er utrolig. Ligger veldig bra til, og er kun en litengå tur til byen.

Very good hotel, we recommend , the bus stop every 30 minutes near the hotel. The breakfast is amazing.

La habitación era familiar, muy espaciosa con un baño y dos habitaciones individuales. Sin embargo el baño, el mobiliario y las instalaciones muy antiguas. El trato muy bueno, muy personalizado muy familiar.

Jamais personne à la réception. Hôtel très sonore. Lits très peu larges. Mauvais rapport qualité/prix. La nourriture du restaurant est bonne.

Gut geführtes Hotel/Restaurant. Mein Zimmer ging zur Strassenkreuzung, daher bis ca. Mitternacht extrem starker Verkehr mit entsprechendem Lärm. Das Hotel dürfte für ältere Personen eher nicht geeignet sein, da kein Lift vorhanden ist.

Et trivelig hotell, med hyggelig betjening og greie rom. De umiddelbare omgivelsene var også trivelige. Siden rommene ikke har air-condition blir de gjerne varme sommerstid, men ikke være enn at en kan svette seg igjennom en natt. Dette vil naturligvis ikke være noe problem på de kjøligere tidspunktene av året. Med andre ord, kanskje ikke den overnattingsplassen […] jeg hadde valgt i Juli, men resten av året er det nok bra. 더 보기

チェックインのとき、契約書にはBFなしだったが食事がついているとのことをいわれたので食事したが、別料金。よく読まなかったのがいけなかった。ホテルは350年の歴史あるホテルだったが、すべてが古く、天井が低い。また、外での食指するところが非常にすくない不便性があった。店員はとても親切でよかった。。
