I had a wedding to go to at the main hotel on the resort but there were no more rooms available so I made a reservation at the lodge. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at the Lodge and the Mt Washington Resort. We were able to spend a day at various locations in the resort on Saturday, beginning with breakfast in the morning at the Bretton Arms Inn. This was followed by dog sledding, then to Bretton Woods Ski Area to watch the skiers and have lunch. The Lodge at Bretton Woods was a disappointment though the views were great, I think I would have rather slept outside instead of in the room. What ruined this trip was the uninvited guess (bugs, spiders or some blood sucking creatures) that shared the bed. I woke up with several large bites. Had a comfortable stay at the Lodge. Because it is an Omni property you pay a resort fee but get free shuttle service to the surrounding properties (even the local pub down the road). Had a great swim in the outdoor pool at the Mount Washington Hotel. Wonderful breakfast there also.

Need to go out in the cold to get to and from the pool. There is a $20 resort fee and this place is no where near a resort. Rooms are very dated. I was also given the wrong room key and had to leave my family outside in the cold while I got the correct key. Could here everything from the room above us.

the view of the Mt.Washington Hotel with the mtns. behind it from our room window was breathtaking! The service was great and the heated pool and jacuzzi was an extra. The shuttle service that runs continuously and is really at your beck and call to any place in the Bretton Woods complex is an exceptional benefit and a luxury in bad weather. The lodge is clean but in need of maintenance repairs. It is conveniently across route 302 from the Omni Resort which worked very well for our stay. All amenities of the resort are available to anyone who stays at the lodge and on-demand shuttle service is offered. The staff were very helpful. I would recommend staying there.

You can see nice view in your room Location is good If you have plan to take cog train. And cute pool and sauna. this hotel charged extra money to me Maybe it is service fee I understanding that. But I just want to know that before.

Great views and ok for the money, but could use some upkeep. Would never stay on the first floor again - too much noise if someone is in the room above. The shower had no comfortable setting - either way too hot or too cold! Nice to have access to the resort though. We've stayed there before and would probably again - but not on the first floor!

This hotel was not terrible, but it was very dated from the linnens to the carpet, and everything else. We stayed in three hotels on our New England Tour. This room was the most expensive while offering nothing positive for the additional cost.

This place was very convenient to the totally booked Mt. Washington Resort and Spa. The shuttle service was most welcome. The staff was courteous. However, the place (for the price) was just such a dump vis-a-vis decor, ambiance, comfort, etc. The mattress was easily the worst I have ever slept in. The Lodge at Bretton Woods is a pretty bland motel that is showing its age. The location to the mountains is good and it is quiet. Be careful of the rate that you are quoted because they add a significant "resort" fee to your bill.

The highlights of the lodge are its location with the view of Mt Washington Resort, and access to the resort justified the rate. Staff could be more welcoming, only one was. Our porch was unclean, and our room carpet was wet. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, and laundry room are convenient. Otherwise, the facility is clean and adequate.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly. Across the street from the Mount Washington hotel,right down the street from zip lining and skiing.

Our party of three adults were not satisfied with this hotel. The maintainence of the building has not been kept up. Obvious water leaks in the ceiling led to a moldy smell in the room and especially in the bathroom. We left after one night though we were reserved for two. Further, though it had a washer and dryer for guests' use, it was like pulling […] teeth to find out how to get laundry soap. Beautiful area. Nice place to stay to check out the area; looking forward to staying at the Mt. Washington Resort next time. It's nice that when you stay at the Lodge, you can use the amenities of the Resort.

My husband and I were excited to be spending two nights at The Lodge. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. The overall accommodations are run down and dreary. I choose this hotel because of its location and its price (but one thing I DID NOT know is that there is a $20 fee for internet access and the use of the facilities across the road at the resort - which you pay even if you used neither). It is also right on the main road, but we ran the fan all night and didn't hear any of the road noise. However, it was clean, comfortable, and you can't beat the view - each room has a patio facing the mountains, and it was gorgeous! Hotel staff was very accomodating. We needed extra towels and a rollaway (which was extremely poor, but fine for my child to sleep on), and both were delivered before we had even gotten our car unloaded. If we are in this neck of the woods again, I would consider staying at this hotel again - I'd just make sure we were staying long enough to take advantatge of the facilities at the resort across the road, and I'd ask for a room on the second floor for an even better view! 더 보기

Basic, old furniture, no flat screen, but clean, no restaurant but a shuttle to the next door Omni castle and other restaurant (if you like witing); less expensive at half the price / night for sure; 35 miles from North Conway

We were so pleasently surprised with The Lodge. It was clean and the beds were so comfortable.The pool was very nice. The front desk assistance were very friendly. Just an over all great experience, plus you get the amenetties of the white mountain resort for less $..

Excellent location in White Mountains. The Mount Washington Hotel, which is under same ownership, is across the street, and shares many amenities. The staff was courteous and very helpful.The room was clean and quite comfortable with a small patio which overlooked the Presidential range. Great location for all types of outdoor activities.

We could hear the people above us pacing all night and early in the morning. Ask for a second floor room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. NO quick serve restaurants close by. Eat before you come or you will spend a lot.

The hotel is old, but is not in bad condition. It was clean and the pool area was very nice. It does not compare with the Mt. Washington Hotel, but then again it doesn't cost what this hotel did and we still could use all the ammenities. I think it was worth it.

The only bad part was that you have to pay a fee charged by this hotel to use the facilities at the MWHH across the street. We stayed only one night and did tour the Mt. washington hotel without anyone checking to see where we came from. We didn't have time to use the beautiful pool, so not sure if they would have even checked. The restaurants in the […] area are very expensive. Saw the most beautiful sunset from our patio, after a storm and also saw a moose on the way to the Cog Railway. 더 보기

perfectly clean and convenient annex to the larger resort. good view form room. no breakfst, only coffe , which I thought was not very convenient . Also, mandatory $20 fee to use the hotel ameneties seems odd; just bundle the fee in to the rtoom rate , since I hd to pay it anyway.

First, it was a great place to stay , and I would definitely stay there again. That said, the only recommendation I have is for the AC unit. It's mounted very high and requires a chair to change the temperature. A little difficult at 3am when it needs adjusting..........

Do not stay here. I cannot believe that this motel is assiciated with the Mt Washington Hotel. I could not open my balcony screen door to save my life. There was hardly any body else staying here that one night. Wished I had read the reviews before I booked. Beware of the 20 dollars you have to pay for amenities whether you want them or not. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the wonderful Bretton Woods Resort. The Mount Washington Hotel, restored to its original beauty and elegance, is a must. The highlight of our visit was dinner in the main dining-room. We ahve stayed there before and always enjoyed the facility. Things were a bit off while they were under constriction. We had always had a fridge and coffee pot in the room but this time they were no where to be found. Over all not a negative enough experiance to say we wont go back. Hoping things rebound after the spreing renovations are done...

At the time we book our reservation it showed all amenities were available at the Lodge in Brettons Woods NH. When we arrived we were told the lodge was only opened on the weekends for the overflow from the multiple owned properties in the complex. That meant limited rooms were available and everything onsite was shutdown for repair or renovation including […] the pool and hot tub. We were told we could use the amenities at the Mount Washington Resort but there was limited parking and a HUGE conference for the weekend. For the price that was charged the hotel should have been much nicer. There were many things that were in need of repair or replace. The ring on a pipe under the bathroom sink was off. The towels were scratchy. The rug was old and ugly and in need of replacement.

I was disappointed with my stay at the hotel. We had a few maintenance issues with room and staff did not have sense of urgency about handling it. We were there for ski weekend and my husband had to stay in room to wait for maintenance as our door would not lock properly. Bathroom lighting is poor, one electric outlet in room did not work. This facility is part of the Omni Mount Washington hotel. but yet is not updated and is in kind of need of an overhaul. bedding was old, rug was a striped shag and the wood paneling very outdated. I would of definitley paid more per night for a little more comfort. But on the other hand so close to mountain and shuttle buses are always there for you […] whether to take you to skiing, dinner or to the big hotel you never needed to drive. staff at the lodge was wonderful also. 더 보기
