Stayed for one night. Front desk/valet staff really helpful. Decor was upscale ikea (modern) but very comfy. Pool/gym 24 hours! (beware bar time though -- standing room only in the smallish pool). Everything was clean. I think I have a low tolerance for cleanliness of public pools and this one did not make me uncomfortable at all. Nice gym. The stay was very comfortable & enjoyable, however, the maintenance staff entered our room to look at our tv (it wasn't working properly) while we were out of the room, after we specifically asked for them to wait for us to return.

There are two prices on hotels.com and the site does not differentiate between the two prices.

I love the hip feel of this hotel. Great bar, great service, beautiful people abound. The bed is comfy and the decor is soothing. However, if you stay on a lower floor, you're going to hear a lot of the street noise until really late at night. Would have loved to have had a space in the closet to hang a longer item, a bathtub (showers only) and a restaurant […] with room service (they provide menus for delivery from outside of the hotel) and for the delivery people to be allowed to bring the food to your door if you give permission. Great hotel, service and rooms. Close to everything downtown.

I'm just going to reiterate what others have said before me: this hotel is loud. Great location, great condition (very clean), and yay! for being pet friendly. However, I wouldn't stay here again because in your "loft" you can hear people's conversations (who aren't even speaking loudly), footsteps, and doors slamming. If you're not worried about […] a good night's rest, then by all means, stay here. It's just unfortunate that the walls really are paper-thin. Super fun place to stay! After celebrating St. Patty's Day downtown, it was great to walk in, get a couple of drinks at the bar and listen to the live salsa band and watch the dancers on the floor! We stayed here for my wedding weekend and while the hotel has a great location and the staff is very nice and tries to be helpful, the room we had was a pretty big disappointment. We determined on the second night that the air conditioning did not work and was only blowing warm air. Our refrigerator was also broken. Since we did not have time to wait […] (due to our wedding festivities) to wait around and see if they could fix it, we ignored the stale air and just had them store our food downstairs (which they were willing to do without any problems...I truly have no complaints about how the staff treated us). Another in our group directly across the hall also did not have a working refrigerator so it wasn't an isolated incident. If I would have stayed longer, I probably would have asked to be moved to another room although I'm doubtful they could have accomplished it on St. Patrick's Day weekend. The hallways were also extremely warm and didn't seem to have any air circulation. The noise level wasn't too bad considering how busy the weekend was, but I would probably select a different downtown hotel if I were to do it again. 더 보기

Stayed St Patricks night and was pleased with the hotel but not necessarily the staff. Likes: Rooms are very nicely furnished with modern style furniture and fixtures. They were very clean and had some cool accent lighting. The room size was a bit on the small side. When I said I was about to check in he said "better go do it then" as though I was lying to him and just wanted to park there for the evening. After checking in and going to our room we discovered that the room was already occupied by another guest and the girl thought we were some drunks trying to break in. Felt bad for her. The second room we were given had a tag on the door handle that said "sleeping" so we were hesitant to enter. The bar had a band playing about 15 feet from the check-in desk -- which was a few feet from the bar. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very modern, which I enjoyed this aspect. Plus, it has down comforters, a safe, and a glass shower. Great place to stay, The lights were difficult to figure out but we eventually did. The hotel is built with saving energy in mind.

The Aloft Hotel was a different kind of hotel. It was a bit more modern and industrial at the same time. We loved it. The rooms are set up efficiently and have a nice ambiance. It's also close to a lot of frequently visited places. Hotel staff was very friendly and room seemed clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It is very Modern hotel.... So very different but sterile looking. Some might love that so I can't say anything bad just that I prefer something a bit homier next time. In general service was decent only big complaint was " no room service". So don't stay expecting you can order breakfast in morning. Either way a unique place for Milwaukee!

Overall decent hotel, but expensive for what you get. Would have been nice to have a better defined area for breakfast and a more classical sit down or continental offering. Gym was also too small for the size hotel. There was a waiting line when I tried to use it in the morning.

Having never stayed in an Aloft hotel, I was very impressed. The hotel is newly constructed and still in very good condition. Loved the layout of the room. Staff was friendly and the hotel was definitely affordable. I'm likely to stay there again next time I visit.

Alot is a beautiful hotel with great customer service but there are hidden fees. There is a $25-27 fee for parking even if you are disabled! I stayed one night in the hotel on a business trip and plan to stay again on my return. The only negatives that you might want to consider are that there is no restaurant on site (no room service), and there are no bathtubs, only showers. after attending a concert..we stayed at aloft. the staff was extremely nice and helpful especially the bar staff. the hotel is modern and in perfect walking distance to. bars and restaurants. we had an amazing stay! we'll definitely be staying there again

VERY MODERN AND CLOSE TO THE ACTION A MUST FOR DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE.

We arrived on New Years eve with the intent on staying one night downtown and living it up with out the worry of driving or having to fork out cab fare to get around. The location was great. Just down the street from water st bars, old world third st restaurants and bars, and just about everything downtown has to offer. When entering the hotel we […] used the automated kiosk to check in and it wouldn't dispense the room keys like it was supposed to so we had to visit the main desk. The desk is situated almost directly in front of the main entrance so if there's any more then two people standing in line you're bound to block the door and overall traffic. After checking in the room was very clean and all of the advertised comforts were there. The room was chilly so we went to turn the heat on. Well no luck. The window unit had no power, checked the plug and it was set. The wall thermostat was set to 60 so I turned it up and got nothing. We called the front desk and they assured us that the maintenance person would be in soon to fix it. An hour or so later and we were headed out for the night and asked the other person at the front desk to make sure our heat gets looked at. Upon returning to the room later to our surprise it was freezing in there. No heat, no sign of a repair person. 더 보기

We stayed here for New Year's Eve, thinking it would be fun to be downtown and safe to walk around. Hotel seems very poorly maintained. Our carpet was very dirty, had a big stain as you entered the room. Hallways, and even lounge area seems very beaten for a fairly new place. Whole place seemed odd to me. I stayed a week here over Christmas and overall the hotel was a nice place. Being a W property, I would have expected more to the rooms and perhaps better quality, but the service was great. The gentleman who checked us in was awesome, knowledgeable of the local area, and made us feel very welcome. One total positive was that they welcome pets. They […] provided a nice pet bed and food/water dishes, and some dog treats - always treated my well-behaved dog with respect the entire time. One related negative is that they didn't really have anywhere around the hotel for dogs to do their business. They keep all pets/owners on the second floor, which can get noisey if someone brings in a yappy dog. My room was a good size, but had a huge stain in the carpet that was obviously from a prior pet stay. Another maintenance issue was that the toilet/shower is separated from the bathroom sink, by a heavy cumbersome sliding door that was continually off its runner - they tried fixing it, but the design of the door is crap - even when closed it didn't provide privacy from the rest of the room. Hotel location was excellent - walking distance from good restaurants and bars, lots of construction around the neighborhood, and hotel proximity to a nearby hospital though provided additional noise. Numerous bars and places to eat within walking distance. Hotel Bar was swanky and our group had a couple beverages prior to heading out. Room was nice, big flat screen and nice bed. Will look to do stay there again in the future.

Great location. The one thing I hate about this hotel chain is that the windows are frosted and don't game drapes so the room get bright early!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff ok, but not overly friendly. Pretty noisy - probably in part because of the weekend.

This was my first stay at the Aloft Hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very comfortable place to stay. I loved the modern design of the rooms. There was a walk in shower with a glass door. It was close to great restaurants and "watering holes" in downtown.

After confusion by the hotel check in staff because we booked with Hotels.com, we found the room to be very nice. Terrible view of the parking lot and construction across the street, but not a big deal. Neighborhood is very noisy though, so we kept the fan on all night from the heater/AC to block out the noise. Access to Milwaukee downtown, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Construction was a bit irritating, but not a problem of the hotel itself.
