My husband and I stayed at Miyako for our 7th wedding anniversary. I looked up the reviews on this place first and after seeing so many glowing assessments of this hotel, we decided to book it. I'm glad we did! The hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, mostly in the day time, but once we got inside we were delighted with the beautiful sleek […] layout and most importantly, the friendliness of every person working there. We were greeted beginning with the valet, who wasn't even parking our car for us, to the person who led us to our room, even before he led us to our room and then of course by the person at the front desk. I loved the fireplace in the lobby, it was so beautiful and inviting. The front desk lady had the man that greeted us earlier walk us to our room, he was very friendly and chatty. We loved our room the second we walked inside of it, the bed was huge and so was the tv, large flat panel, the room also had an ipod dock and dvd player, something a lot of hotels are missing! What we really loved though was the shower! It was one of the main reasons I even thought about booking the place because it looked so big and inviting, I loved how the tub and shower were separate but still right next to each other in the same enclosure..you have to look at the picture provided on hotels.com of the shower to know what I'm talking about. The but was very deep and so comfortable, and the shower was big and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and the place was so quiet, we loved absolutely everything about it! The only thing I didn't like was that although to use the jacuzzi in the spa, it was only $35 for the entire day, the jacuzzi's were segregated by men and women. I know that is the custom in Japan and this is a Japanese hotel, so I wasn't too bugged by it, but I still would have loved to sit in the Jacuzzi with my husband. We ended up not going to the jacuzzi because of it but we enjoyed that large tub in the bathroom! On our last day we splurged on 더 보기

If your looking for a high quality, super clean and friendly hotel this is the place. The quality of service is reminiscent of a $300-400 a night hotel, however it is very affordable. The room is spotless and the bathroom with Japanese soaking tub is superb. There is a true Japanese mall next door with several great food shops and a grocery store. Very clean and modern bathroom. Good internet access. Quiet air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Enough limousine survice to LA airport.

Very nice hotel with great style, outstanding customer service, awesome furnishings, and very safe. Only downside is the distance to the coast (15 min). We had an issue with the lockbox in the room, just as we were headed out for a birthday dinner celebration, and service technician was up immediately and worked diligently to free our contents and fix […] the box. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The service is very good, the room is super clean and big, and the big feature- Japanese style bathroom! The only issue at the bathroom is the design of the shower. It is not very well design for taking shower outside of the tub, but we love this deep Japanese style bath tub a […] lot! You feel like you are in the spa, and it makes you very warm. This hotel seems to cater to Japanese businessmen and families. It feels quite a bit like being in Japan. The restaurant is great-- Although the breakfast buffet is not great for the American food. I love this place. It's not in a toursity neighborhood, but you will love the room, the hotel and the service!

Extremely clean, spacious and comfortable, Japanese style. Very quiet. Conveniently located for tourism in the Los Angeles area. Excellent value for money. We would definitely stay there again if we come back in LA.

The service was extraordinarily good. The room was amongst the nicest I have stayed in, including fine quality bedding, large TV, complimentary Internet, exercise facility, etc. Everything was clean and well maintained. I look forward to another opportunity to stay there.

We stayed here for the 2011 CrossFit Games at the Home Depot Center. The staff was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. They were very attentive to our needs and even remembered us throughout our stay whenever we walked into the lobby. The room was beautiful and very modern. I have not experienced such wonderful customer service in many hotels and that is why they deserve such a high rating. My wife and I had a most pleasant experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is new so there were zero problems with the facility. We loved the overhead shower and the feel of the room we stayed in. It was very quiet. If we had neighbors in the rooms next door, we never would have known. This was a wonderful, very Japanese Hotel (language, people, restaurant, etc). Great spa, great restaurant, great rooms. Shuttle service to LAX and Redondo Beach, but not close to anything at the Hotel itself. Good price, good service, I recommend this hotel.

I had an absolutely perfect stay. The A/C was as always, unbelievably quiet, the refrigerator was also quiet. The bathroom was spotless, the linens were soft and easy to sleep on. The only downside was the reception on the TV, it was experiencing problems but nothing that couldn't be fixed. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in LA.

My family and I went out and stayed for the 4th July weekend. This hotel had impeccable service - the staff there was extremely friendly and polite. The room was "pimped out" flat screen, dvd, ipod stereo, direct-tv - I felt like I was at home. Extremely clean and comfortable. We will definitely being staying there again. I spent time in Japan about 10 years ago and my stay at the Miyako felt like I was returning. The rooms are very nice and the service is excellent. Only about 10 minutes from the beach, but the surrounding neighborhood is not great. One can not overemphasize the importance of a bidet.

I didn't expect the hotel to be as nice as it was. I had a great experience.. spa is too expensive but everything else was great.

Friend recommended this hotel. Pictures doesn't do much until you are actually there. Welcomed by Valet, then greeted by the front desk. Then the bell hop walks you to the room and shows us all the amenities. It has great restaurants too, the Gonponchi has a variety of sushi. The environment is Japanese themed which is very nice. My favorite part about staying at Miyako Hybrid Hotel is their ability to pay attention to details. Details made my visit amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed at Miyako to celebrate his birthday. Not only was the front lobby beautiful and clean, but we were greeted immediately by the valet and front-desk staff. It took approximately 10 minutes to check […] in. I am assuming that they were overbooked because they upgraded us to a suite for no additional charge. The suite itself was AMAZING. My favorite part was the shower and bathtub. The room was very clean and had very nice details, such as a hot water heater, teapot, and luxurious robes. About 30-minutes after we checked in, we received a courtesy call from the front desk to ask if the room met our expectations. It did :) The only thing that I did not like (and it really is NOT a big deal at ALL), was the limited variety of channels on TV. Of course, that was such a minor thing that it would definitely NOT influence my decision to come back. We entertained ourselves by playing Wii in the fitness center, and rented a few DVDs to watch in the room. Upon check-out, a female staff member wished my boyfriend a happy birthday, which surprised us because we only casually mentioned it to the gentleman who checked us in. This again is another example of the hotel's overall attention to detail. I also really appreciated the eco-friendliness of the hotel, such as the auto-shut off lights when there is not a room key in the holder, and the recycling bin in the room. They really know how to treat their customers well, and we will definitely be returning! 더 보기

Best hotel value in Torrance Carson area.

One of the nicest hotel that we have stayed at and it's in Torrance!!! Staff has been well trained and knew us by name. I still can't figure out how they did that.

The employees provided excellent service and everyone was very courteous. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The beds were quite comfortable and clean. The five-star service provided me with a great hotel experience. RM of Los Angeles

This was my second visit to Miyako Hybrid Hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The Hot Stone Spa is a must-try! It's very affordable and they often have promotions for hotel guests. Great place to relax after a long day of shopping and eating!

The hotel does not response emails submitted on hotel's website. I sent two emails in a two week period. None was answered. I finally had to make a call.

Great hotel. Only complaint is the bath only would get warm, not hot like I wanted it. I never contacted the staff about it so.....

We didn't know anything about Torrance, but turned out the Miyako Hybrid was the perfect place for us. Reasonably close to everywhere we had to go, and the personnel couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant was good, and we were referred to a 24-hour taqueria a few blocks away, if that is more your thing. All in, a great place to stay, whether for […] business or otherwise. 더 보기

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff with much respect and were very thankful that we chose to stay in their hotel. Once checked in, the staff member shared the hotel's features and amenities while pushing the luggage rack to our room. He then proceeded to show us the room's offerings (dvd, ipod station/dock, refrigerator, plug for laptop/phones, […] coffee/tea maker). Most of the items are nicely hidden behind cabinets or in drawers so it was nice that we didn't have to guess where all was. The bed was COMFY! The room came with a 45" flat tv and, although most of the tv channels catered to Asians, we were able to find local and well known shows. The shower and tub area was big (deep tub came in handy for a nice relaxed soak). The bidet with heated seat was also a very nice feature. The on-site restaurant bar was also great and their sushi was delicious! The entire hotel staff made us feel very important and ensured we were happy with our stay in every way. Had a lovely time at the love the authentic Japanese feel to the place. The rooms were lovely & clean. Staff were very courteous & helpful. Self Parking was a bonus, no need to pay for valet although it is available. Really missed our heated toilet seat when we left... The restaurant is pretty good, good cocktails & awesome freshly cooked omelettes […] at the buffet breakfast, highly recommended! Most of the menu is Japanese based so be sure you are a fan. Found it a little pricey for meals. The massage & spa is a must do. Worth every cent! Located in an industrial type area, I would stay here again as the location is relaxing compared to the hustle & bustle of L.A city, if that is what you are after. 더 보기
