Arista of Rotorua - 로터루아

This hotel room was a great loft apartment with full kitchen (if you choose to cook on vacation). The hotel has been update by new owners. I love these privately owned hotels in New Zealand. They are personally involved in the managing hotel and keeping guest satisfied. I would choose this hotel again if we make it back to Rotorua, NZ.

We selected this property as many of the others in Rotorua seemed to be in need of an upgrade and the Arista had so many great reviews. We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the property is well maintained. We stayed in a Studio room but the units are 2 storeys with the beds on the second level so they're not really what […] I would call a typical "studio". The Owners at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. They wanted to make sure they understood the type of vacation we were looking for in Rotorua and gave us some great recommendations on what to do in the area. While it was just my Wife and I on this trip, it would be an ideal place to stay with a family. We would not hesitate to stay there again. 더 보기

I stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 2011. I booked it based solely on TripAdvisor ranking it #5 of 106 hotels in Rotorua (early December 2011). How misguided. I understand there is change happening due to new owners, but my stay in room 10 was extremely disappointing. The living room had been renovated with new carpets and furniture, but the kitchen […] and bedroom appeared original. Unfortunately the complementary milk was off (but still in date), and the wireless didn't work (although I was told by the owners that it had only been installed two days earlier and was having teething issues). The bathroom was disgraceful. There was a large amount of mould in the shower grouting, a worn and dirty curtain, random long dark hairs (I've got short hair), used soap in the holder (different colour to the complementary soap), and a distinct feeling of soap scum on the floor when barefoot. And then the fittings. I'm not sure if there's something about the sulphurous conditions in Rotorua, but the chrome shower head and mixer taps were either covered in black (something like mould), or worn stripped down to brass. On my return at the end of the day, there were still used towels on the floor, rubbish in the bin, and the bed was unmade. I had to return to the front desk to seek replacement coffee and shampoo (I purchased my own milk). I can't understand how this property can justify a top ten rating. 더 보기

This hotel was great to accommodate a 6 adult family at a reasonable cost would definately use again & recommend to anyone.

Would like to say thank you to the owners of Cedar Lodge Motel for hospitality & good service. Very spacious units with own spas. We stayed in different ones while in Rotorua but this was good choice. Thank you

Motel tres propre, les chambres sont tres grandes. Elles sont juste un peu old fashion, sinon, c'est un endroit a recommander!
