We had a warm welcome from the staff who were always helpful and polite. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious; my request for a vegetarian option and soya milk was accommodated with no fuss. Would only recommend this hotel to others who understand its limitations. It is simple, cheap(ish), friendly, unsophisticated. More like a b& b than an hotel. Convenient for Hugh Lane gallery and Gate theatre, and walking distance of central Dublin. Several Dublin friends say it is a tough area but I saw no evidence of this during my stay.

Downside, very uncomfortable, we were on the 4th floor, no lift and 40kg of luggage. Upside, ok location only 20 minute walk to main shopping, eating and bar area, quiet location, really helpful staff and owner, ok breakfast.

Trevligt och personligt bemötande från personalen. Rent och fräsht familjerum högst upp. Minimalt med störande ljud från trafik etc (bara ett larm på ett intilliggande hus som pep några gånger på morgonkvisten). Frukost serverad vid bordet bara att välja full Irish eller kontinental + yoghurt/flinger/juice. The Parkway is just a few minutes walk from O'Connell street. I stayed there for a night during Easter week in 2011. I had read other reviews here, before booking, and the hotel lived up to my expectations. I dont know if you can call it a hotel as such, as there is no reception or bar... but its very friendly and a good breakfast is included in the […] price. I had a long and friendly chat with the owner, who is Irish. The hotel itself isnt that modern, because of the buildings age, and there are no lifts so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, but thats just a minor problem. its clean, basic, central, quiet and friendly. Excellent l'accueil du propriétaire, charmant et nous indiquant les lieux à visiter à Dublin. Bonne situation géographique (10 mn à pied de Temple Bar et o'connel street). Quartier assez tranquille, et assez calme. a recommander si vous voulez un hotel "bed & breakfast" à Dublin pour pas trop cher.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Seamus qui est très discret mais serviable dès qu'on na besoin d'un renseignement ou service. Sur le plan nous pensions que nous étions un peu loin du centre.En fait c'est tout près de la célèbre rue O' Connell qu'il faut parcourir car elle est chargée d'histoire. De là on a accés à tout le Dublin touristique: Nous […] avons débuté par le tour en" hop hop off "bus qui est la plus confortable façon de découvrir la capitale en 24H.
