The Martello Hotel - 브레이

very convinient location and reasonable room rates. Clean and comfortable room. Everything was perfect but a bathroom door whose lock was broken. I highly recommend this hotel.

Family room with child's bedroom and kitchen was excellent. The food was beautiful with great service. The hotel was facing the sea. Lots of amusements nearby. Easy reach to places such as Powerscourt and glenroe park

Stayed here on a Monday night just for a quick break to get away from the City. Rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Didn't try the restaurant but the Bar food very really nice. Good deals at the bar on cocktails. Brilliant all round value. Will definitely be back here.

The location is beautiful. The resturant and bar and lovely the staff were lovely i love this hotel and its vibrant nightlife, however i do think that maybe this hotel is more suited to the youngeter generation as it can be quite loud at nite. . Food was great wine was nice. . I had a great experience here

First impression was a shock, the room was quite small and the tv was so small, not what i am used to, and the bathroom was a bit cramped, but to cheer myself up a bit, we went for a walk and a wee drink. After that, things looked brighter. The room was actually quite comgy, the bed was very comfy and the pillows were great as i usually have to bring […] my own pillow with me as i have a very bad neck, but i had forgotten mine. So anyway, the hotel bar was really good to sit in, and the food, oh my god, was unreal. the quality and quantity of the food, what can i say. We never left the hotel all week to eat elsewhere, whoever that chef was, he was amazing. Each night there was a different acoustic session outside the hotel,. we had the same seat each nite, just beside the guitarist, and the staff were always on hand to bring more drinks, nothing was a bother to them. Probably the best staff in that hotel that ive ever had the pleasure of serving me. the views were amazing, the walk to Brayhead, and Greystones. Amazing. The only downfall was that the doors of the rooms slammed every time somebody closed them, but i was also a culprit of that as i always forgot and let my door slam every time i shut it. Also, the train runs through Bray and it was right outside our window, but we soon got used to it. Overall, one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in, and i cant wait to go back. 더 보기

If you want to sleep this is not the hotel to stay in as it is over a night club. The room is not sound proofed and you cannot open the window due to the loudness of the music so is hot and stuffy. The music could be heard a block down the street also. The staff the following morning were very polite when you eventually found someone to speak to. I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay in the Martello Hotel recently. Firstly the hotel was excellent value for money. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. At night the bar downstairs was highly entertaining, music was excellent and cocktails were delicious!! However, it was very lively and quite loud. This was not an issue for us but other […] guests planning on staying should be aware of this. Also, our room was quite small and we had to park some distance away from the hotel, along by the strand. Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel, especially for those on a budget. 더 보기

We were not expecting much but we didnt even get that. Room was clean but the room was a shoe box. Went on Sunday end of Bray festival and place was very busy. Didnt mind that but did mind not being able to sleep due to the nightclub below. Wouldnt recomend and wont be going back again.

Excellent location and on beach front. Beautiful surrounding area. Food was great and definitly great value for money. We ate in hotel every night. Nice cocktails also at resonable prices! (2for7euro). was bit disapointed with accomodation although beds comfortable and room had fully equiped kitchen (we stayed in an appartment), rooms were a bit shabby […] and could have benifited from a good hoover behind beds! would recomend this place though as we only spent a minimal time in our room. 더 보기

Stayed for 2 nites 11-13 July with my partner and daughter aged 14 and my sister and her husband and their 14 year old. I had booked a triple room but was given an apartment on the 4th floor, 421, with all the usual self catering facilities supplied, it was clean. I would have preferred a room but the apartment was fine. My sister was put into an apartment […] on the ground floor rear, room 124 which was noisey during the nite and from early in the morning and it cost 20 euros more than mine. There was access to it from the hotel but the access to it from the side of the hotel was very grubby, the carpet needed a good hoovering and there was laundery sitting about . The hotel was busy throughout the day and lively in the evening with entertainment supplied. We ate all our meals at the hotel, from the full Irish Breakfast to the paninis and soup in the afternoon, bar snack in the evening to a 3 course meal for £20 euro in the evening, I have ony good things to say about the food which was excellent and very reasonably priced although service was slightly compromised during busy times. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the hotel was ideally placed beside the sea front. The only negative thing I can say is that there is no hotel parking and to park beside the hotel is 50c per hour, we were not told by the lady who checked us in that there was free parking at either end of the sea front so bear that in mind if booking this hotel. 더 보기

The hotel is right on the seafront and close to the town centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. Parking is a problem, especially at busy times. Overall the hotel is very good and I've already booked another stay there.

The hotel is basic, rooms small but very clean. Bar and food excellent, the biggest plus is the staff, as everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Not the place for a quiet break as it is very lively. Had a great experience, and looking forward to the next stay.

Bonjour, Bien que situé face à la mer, je ne recommanderais pas cet hôtel à mes amis car trop bruyant. Arrivé le jeudi, je n'ai pas "fermé l'oeil" jusqu'à mon départ, le dimanche. En effet, tous les soirs, nous avions droit à de la musique jusqu'à 3 heures du matin. Il serait bon de le préciser sur le site afin d'éviter les mauvaises surprises.
