호텔은 도심과 가까워서 Dist.1은 걸어서 쉽게 다닐 수 있습니다. 사이공 강과 접해 있어 아침에 운동삼아 산책하기도 좋습니다. 그러나 호텔정문이 대로변과 접해 있고, 진입로가 없어 대로변에서 바로 차를 타고 내려야 하는 불편함이 있고 택시를 타기도 쉽지 않습니다. 오래된 역사를 가진 호텔이고 강을 접하고 있어 전망은 좋습니다. 그러나 오래된 만치 내부시설은 다른 최근 지어진 동급의 호텔에 비하여 수준이 조금 떨어지는 것은 사실입니다. 강을 접하고 있으나 바로 앞에 Ton Duc Thang이라는 대로를 접하고 있어 오토바이 소음이 심합니다. 아침식사는 그럭저럭 먹을만은 하였으나 시내 다른 호텔에 비하여 조금 낮은 수준이었습니다. 늦은 […] 시간에 현지 여성과 함께 호텔에 들어오는 외국인을 흔히 볼 수 있는데, 여기는 철저히 통제하여 그 부분은 마음에 들었습니다. 스탭은 전반적으로 친절하였습니다. 결론적으로 비슷한 위치와 가격대의 다른 호텔에 비하여 시설과 서비스 수준, 조식등은 조금 떨어지지 않나 생각합니다. 더 보기

When leaving airport DO NOT get in a Blue (color ) cab...they will rip you off even with a meter . Next be sure you have the price straight ( written ) if taking a bike driver ,ect . coz you will say 40,000 Dong and they will say it was 400,000 ($20) when you get back and they may bluff a little nasty . Always go in the hotel and ask and they will straighten […] them out . Finally , when you go in a small shop off beaten path , make sure you agree that you are giving them 100,000dong coz they will pull the switch and say you gave them 10,000 dong coz they look alike . Then it is a problem , trust me . Also , the fee from airport to hotel should be about 20,000 ($10) and again I say if it is not right just go in hotel and tell them and let them talk to the driver . Location is convenient, but the hotel is old. So both rooms I stayed in were big, clean but organized like in old 19th century European hotel without reconstruction. I guess it's the whole style of this hotel. Good external pictures of the building appear somewhat misleading to me. Location is the best. Breakfirst was very good with nice food. Staff was very polite and friendly. The room with river view was very clean and beautiful.

Very friendly staff and excellent location. I had a room without any daylight (no window) so felt a bit like a prison.

lame service and communication i would never stay there again cant cross the street no elevator confrence room right out side the door and they dont allow guests of any sort.

We had no complaints about the hotel. For the price we paid, you could not complain. Booked it on line and all was well when we got to the hotel, just remember to take your internet paper work with you. P>S. Vietnam is a very nice place to visit.

Don't believe the hotel pictures and descriptions. Some of the hotels photos pictured are retouched big time. Example, there is no water canal in front of the hotel. There is a very busy street with an industrial river across it. I booked for 3 nights but ended up checking out earlier due to the uncomfortable conditions.

Well there was an actual window but when you opened it the view that you saw was another corridor inside the hotel. Also the beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable. It was a real disappointment. Having said that the buffet breakfast was really good. So an awful lot bad but not all bad

This is a good value hotel located on the Siagon river. I would not recommend for the elderly as the beautiful old staircase is the main way to travel up and down the floors, as the eleevator is very small and mainly used for luggage, but you can still use it if needed. Breakfast (buffet) was fine, nothing to flash but acceptable. I did eat in the hotel […] restaurant which was fine, however there are many cheaper / better places locally. I would highly recommed a place just around the corner caller 'Jaspers'. The staff were friendly with enough English to get bye. Value for Money

The hotel quality really aligns with its prices. If you just expect a convenient place and normal quality, this is exactly your choice! However, I got 2 bad experience when I applied the local tours via the "Tourist Information Center" in the lobby. The fist one is to Mekong River, cost $25, picked up in hotel. However, when we return, the tutor guide […] just dropped us in the backpack park somewhere in the district 1, instead of my hotel. The guide said we didn't' pay for the the "Return to hotel" fare! What a ridiculous tutor package!! Package tour, the price is supposed to include "return to hotel". When we returned to hotel and asked the tourist information center lady, she said we need to pay $3 for each person to get back hotel. However, she never told us when we applied the tour! The 2nd trip to Cu Chi Tunnels. I paid $20 and made sure "get on" and "get off" in my hotel. The lady told me $20 included entrance fee already. However, the tour guide in the van (bad english + bad attitude) asked me to pay for the entrance fee. I told him $20 included that. He told me "I dont' know! No one told me! You should call the company to clarify! and then threw all this receipts to me to find out mine!". When the tutor returned, the tour guide again said "I don't know, No one told me I need to drop you in the hotel". The worst thing is the backpacker (sat next to me, stayed in backpacker hotel) told me, he just paid $9 for the same tutor, including the entrance fee!! What I can say is the tourist information center in Riverside made a high profit margin and the communication between the tourist information center in Riverside, the tour company and the tour guide is very poor!! Don't confuse the Riverside Saigon with its neighbor, the Renaissance Riverside, a newer Marriott hotel. The real Riverside is far better. We had a spacious room overlooking the busy river and busy street below but when the double windows were closed the noise wasn't noticeable. Staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful and the included […] breakfast buffet was great with lots of variety. The hotel still retains the look and feel of an elegant hotel, albeit from from a bygone era. Carved wood and beautiful lighting fixtures are everywhere. There are enough modern amenities to make this a very comfortable hotel choice (flat screen TVs, free WiFi access in the rooms, large bathrooms, comfortable beds). Overall a very good value. 더 보기

Old hotel by river with some charm. Reminds me of the Peace Hotel in Shanghai in the 1980s. Needs an update but then it would be more expensive. Arrived at night and didn't realize room had no exterior window--just a weird small window to the floor of an interior hallway. This hotel is clean and straight forward, and has the charm of past glory. A good price / performance buy.

Hotel is ideally located in the Dist 1 from visiters point of veiw.Halal food resurants and Masjid is 4 minutes walk from the hotel(next to Sheraton hotel). Staff is friendly, breakfast ok shef is quite happy to make egg omlate for you.Room was comfortable and was cleaned every day.Resturant is reasonably priced if you dont fancy going out.

Nice hotel with nice crew. The rooms towards street are probably very noisy. Good food in the restaurant. Free internet with printing possibility in the lobby.

The riverside hotel is comfortable and well worth the money. It's location with walking distance to the must see sights in town and exellent breakfast buffe is some of the things that would make us recomend this hotel.

In its heyday, I think this was THE place to stay and be seen. Unfortunately, the new hotel chains have moved in but with vastly inflated prices. A good place to stay especially with family. A walking distance to shopping centre.

I loved this hotel. First of all its older so don't expect a modern western hotel but it has a ton of old french charm. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport in district 1 and is close to everything you will want to do while in Saigon. They have a hotel shuttle that will pick you up but it costs $25 where as a taxi will only set you back about […] $8. The shuttle could be worth it however if you have a very late arrival like me and want to be wisked away to the hotel with no complications. The comman areas in the establishment are a little run down(remember i said the place was old) but the rooms were nice and clean and the front desk very helpful. They spoke good enough english to answer basic questions. There is a tour guide office next door that can arrange any tours you may need. The rooms have a great free internet connection and a couple of english movie channels. Unlike the Philippines, the rooms have central a/c and it works wonderful. Nice and chilly all the time. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast which is free. Great selection of American and Vietnamese offerings along with vietnamese coffee which will grow hair on your chest(meaning it's really strong like all there coffee!) The hotel doesn't have a pool but the Majestic hotel next door(a very nice place!) will let you utilize theirs for $5 all day) For the money this place is impossible to beat. For what i paid it will get you a dumpy chain motel in the USA w/o the charm of the Riverside.About the only sketchy part of my hotel experience was a drunk australian passed out in the hallway outside my room during checkin. Very good and efficient staff. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. Staff was willing to help out at any time. There was always someone Who spoke english for help in directions. Room was clean, orderly. Location was ideal. I would stay at this hotel again.

We were very impressed with this hotel. It was quite attractive and the staff were very helpful at all times. The breakfast was exceptional.

Pros: - Free Vietnamese style breakfast - Good location Con: - Dark and old public areas - Old room and furnitures - Some light switches even don't work - Security guards sleep on the floor of the lobby at night.

The hotel's location is smack in between 2 prestigious hotels and easily accessible. Room rates matched with the price i paid. Breakfast was good. Places of interest were within walking distance of this hotel. This hotel is specially recommended for Muslim travellers as it is very near the Jamia Mosque and many halal eateries.

The room was cleen and the staff was polite and serviceminded. But the hotel was quite old, and needed some maintenance.

Jättetrevlig personal. Även om vi hade svårt att förstå varandra, så ansträngde sig ändå personalen och vi förstod till slut varandra! Bilden på hotellet med floden precis nedanför är mycket missvisande. Det är en stor väg emellan. Inte så vackert och mysigt som bilden visar. 低料金の部屋だったので窓は内廊下に面していたが、エレベーターホールの大きな窓からサイゴン川が眺められ、ゆったりした気分を味わうことができた。 部屋は広く清潔だったが、バスルームのお湯がチョロチョロしか出ず、バスタブを満たすのに30分くらいかかってしまった。

Dejligt, at hotellet ligger ned til floden, men overraskende, at der var en 6 sporet vej imellem hotellet og floden. Vejen er meget vanskelig at komme over. Gangbro eller fodgængertunnel kunne ønskes. Meget central beliggenhed.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt im Zentrum. Alle bedeutenden Sehenswürdigkeiten können zu Fuß als auch günstig mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreicht werden. Das Hotel ist für die Lage preiswert. Fuer das Geld so viel Hotel: absolut empfehlenswert! Die Lage ist sehr zentral mitten im 1. Bezirk, die wichtigsten Sehenswuerdigkeiten alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Moeglicherweise sogar ein Vorteil, ein Zimmer ohne FEnster zu nehmen, denn die Strasse vor dem Hotel ist laut und dicht befahren, auch nachts. Service einwandfrei, Fruestueck o.k.

6月16日から3泊しました、ホテル自体は問題ありませんでした、朝食も美味しいく頂きました、今度ホーチミンで宿泊する時はグレードアップしたいです。
